*The Roblox Assassin series is seven classic Limiteds from 2010 to 2013. The 16-copy Dark Assassin leads on value and the Cloaked Assassin is cheapest.*

The Roblox Assassin series is a family of seven classic Limiteds, released between April 2010 and August 2013, all built on the same hooded-and-masked look. A classic Limited is an item Roblox made itself that is no longer on sale, so the only way to get one is from another player. The [Dark Assassin](/item/73791866) is the scarce one, with 16 copies in existence, and trader consensus puts a copy in the gem tier (a gem is a scarce, high-value Limited that collectors chase). The [Cloaked Assassin](/item/25267790) sits at the other end, with 15,570 copies and a RAP of 1,062 Robux. RAP stands for recent average price, a smoothed average of every sale an item has ever had.

**Quick answer:** Seven classic Assassin Limiteds exist, from the April 2010 Cloaked Assassin to the August 2013 Evil Assassin from the Bleakest Timeline. The 16-copy Dark Assassin is the family's most valuable member by trader consensus, the White Assassin Hood carries the highest RAP in our catalog at 200,000 Robux, and the Cloaked Assassin is the cheap entry point at a RAP near 1,000 Robux. All seven are tradeable.

## What is the Roblox Assassin series? Seven classic Limiteds from 2010 to 2013

![Cloaked Assassin](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/25267790?size=420)

The family starts with the [Cloaked Assassin](/item/25267790). Roblox's item data records it as created on April 8, 2010 at 400 Robux, and 15,570 copies exist today. It is also the odd one out in a technical way. Roblox flags it as a plain Limited, meaning Roblox sold it with no copy cap and the supply froze whenever the sale ended. Every other Assassin is flagged Limited Unique, or Limited U, meaning the copy count was fixed before release and each copy carries a serial number stamped in the order people bought it. If those two labels are new to you, our guide to [Limited vs Limited U](/articles/limited-vs-limited-u-roblox) breaks down the difference, and [serial numbers get their own explainer](/articles/roblox-limited-serial-numbers-explained).

Then Roblox kept going back to the idea. The [Gray Assassin](/item/64489875) arrived in October 2011 at 1,000 Robux with 498 copies. The [Dark Hooded Assassin of the All Seeing Order](/item/69434624) followed in January 2012 at 150 Robux with 982 copies. The [Dark Assassin](/item/73791866) came in March 2012 with just 16 copies, and the [White Assassin Hood](/item/76063110) landed later that same month at 10,001 Robux. May 2012 brought the [1337 Cyber Assassin](/item/81688937) at 137 Robux, a nod to the 1337 in its name, with 1,297 copies. The last classic member is the [Evil Assassin from the Bleakest Timeline](/item/128206864) from August 2013, sold at 500 Robux with 1,001 copies.

Nothing has been added since. Roblox has not released a classic Assassin Limited in more than a decade, which is part of a bigger shift covered in [does Roblox still make classic Limiteds](/articles/does-roblox-still-make-classic-limiteds). The family is closed, and every copy that will ever exist already belongs to somebody.

## Which Assassin Limited is worth the most? The Dark Assassin, on 16 copies

![Dark Assassin](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/73791866?size=420)

Sixteen copies is a tiny number. For comparison, the Cloaked Assassin has 15,570, so the Dark Assassin exists at roughly one copy for every 973 Cloaked Assassins. Items that thin almost never sell, and that creates a gap worth understanding.

The Dark Assassin's RAP in our catalog is 81,699 Robux. Trader consensus on what a copy actually costs is far above that, which puts it above the White Assassin Hood even though the White Assassin Hood's RAP is higher at 200,000. The reason is mechanical. RAP updates one sale at a time, moving only a tenth of the way toward each new sale price, so an item that trades once every year or two drags an old number around for ages. Holders of 16-copy items know what the last private offer looked like. RAP does not. When a thin item's RAP and its street price disagree, the street price is usually the one that matters, and we cover that gap in [why a Roblox Limited sells for more than its RAP](/articles/roblox-limited-price-higher-than-rap).

One copy of the Dark Assassin is listed right now at 618,033,988 Robux. That is a parking listing, the kind of absurd number an owner posts so the copy technically shows as available while staying unsellable, and the habit is common enough that we wrote about [Limiteds listed for billions](/articles/roblox-limiteds-listed-for-billions). Treat it as a sign that nobody is selling.

## Every Assassin Limited ranked by value

This table is ordered by trader consensus on street value, which for most of the family means RAP order. Lowest ask means the cheapest copy anyone currently has listed for sale. All figures come from RBX Invest catalog data and Roblox's own item data as of October 4, 2026.

| Item | Released | Launch price | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/73791866?size=150) [Dark Assassin](/item/73791866) | Mar 2012 | Not recorded | 16 | 81,699 R$ | 618,033,988 R$ |

| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/128206864?size=150) [Evil Assassin from the Bleakest Timeline](/item/128206864) | Aug 2013 | 500 R$ | 1,001 | 23,114 R$ | 23,000 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/64489875?size=150) [Gray Assassin](/item/64489875) | Oct 2011 | 1,000 R$ | 498 | 22,536 R$ | 25,000 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/69434624?size=150) [Dark Hooded Assassin of the All Seeing Order](/item/69434624) | Jan 2012 | 150 R$ | 982 | 5,632 R$ | 8,599 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/81688937?size=150) [1337 Cyber Assassin](/item/81688937) | May 2012 | 137 R$ | 1,297 | 3,989 R$ | 4,599 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/25267790?size=150) [Cloaked Assassin](/item/25267790) | Apr 2010 | 400 R$ | 15,570 | 1,062 R$ | 1,099 R$ |

Two things stand out. The Dark Assassin trades above the White Assassin Hood on consensus despite the lower RAP, for the reasons in the section above. And the Evil Assassin sits a hair over the Gray Assassin on RAP while having twice as many copies, 1,001 against 498, which tells you buyers on those two are paying for the look and barely pricing the copy counts.

The launch prices are worth a second look if you like multiples. The Dark Hooded Assassin went out at 150 Robux and carries a RAP of 5,632, about 38 times its sale price. The 1337 Cyber Assassin went out at 137 and sits near 3,989, roughly 29 times. The Evil Assassin's 500 Robux turned into 23,114, about 46 times. Those are the kind of returns that only show up when an item is permanently off sale and the player base keeps growing. You can see where every one of these ranks against the rest of the catalog on the [items leaderboard](/items-leaderboard).

## Why is the White Assassin Hood's copy count missing?

![White Assassin Hood](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/76063110?size=420)

Roblox's item data flags the [White Assassin Hood](/item/76063110) as a Limited Unique with zero stock remaining and a launch price of 10,001 Robux, dated March 29, 2012. What it does not return is a total copy count, and our catalog has no figure for it either. Roblox also returns no resale listing for it, so there is no ask to quote.

That leaves a 200,000 Robux RAP with no copy count behind it, which is a strange combination. A 10,001 Robux launch price in 2012 was enormous for a hat, so the print, meaning the total number of copies ever made, was almost certainly small, and the absence of any listing fits an item whose owners sit on it. We are not going to guess at a number. If you are weighing a copy, treat the copy count as unknown and price off what sellers actually ask when one appears.

The Dark Assassin's launch price has the same problem in reverse. Roblox's data currently shows a 12 Robux price field on it, which does not square with a 16-copy sellout, and we have no way to confirm what it originally sold for. The table leaves that cell empty, because we will only print a figure we can stand behind.

## What drives the Assassin family's premium?

Three things do most of the work.

Copy counts spread enormously. The family runs from 16 copies to 15,570, a range of nearly a thousand to one, and price follows that curve closely. Collectors hunting the thin end should start with our [rarest Limiteds collection](/collections/rarest-limiteds) and the [under 100 copies list](/collections/limiteds-under-100-copies), where the Dark Assassin's tier lives.

The look still works. Hoods and masks sit well with modern avatars in a way that some 2010 hats do not, and the mid-tier members keep moving because people actually wear them. That demand floor is why the Dark Hooded Assassin and the 1337 Cyber Assassin have lowest asks above their RAPs.

Supply is finished. No new classic Assassin can appear, and the only copies that change hands are ones existing owners decide to sell. Compare that with the rest of the [classic hats collection](/collections/classic-hats), where the same dynamic sets the floor under a few hundred items.

One honest caveat on the big copy counts. The Cloaked Assassin alone accounts for about 80% of the family's known copies, so the "Assassin series" as a market is really one common hat plus six scarcer ones. Do not read the family's reputation into the cheap member.

## Is there a non-Limited Assassin hat? Yes, the Ninja Assassin

![Ninja Assassin](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/43704929?size=420)

The [Ninja Assassin](/item/43704929) belongs to the family's story and has no market of its own. Roblox created it on January 8, 2011 and flags it as a regular catalog item, so it has no copy cap, no serial numbers and no resale listings. Roblox's data still shows it on sale at 350 Robux, which means anyone can buy one and nobody can flip one.

It belongs in the history because it shows what Roblox was doing with the theme outside the Limited program, and it pairs naturally with the [ninja series](/articles/ninja-series-history-roblox) and the [masked hood series](/articles/masked-hood-series-history-roblox), both of which share the covered-face silhouette and overlap with Assassin collectors.

## Do UGC Assassin hoods hold value?

![Assassin's Legion Elite Hood](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/129533694512306?size=420)

Community creators have made plenty of Assassin-themed items since UGC Limiteds arrived in April 2023. A UGC Limited is a Limited that a community creator published. The [Assassin's Legion Elite Hood](/item/129533694512306) is the strongest of them in our catalog, with 15 copies, a RAP of 9,989 Robux and a lowest ask of 14,490. The [White Diamond Assassin Hood and Mask](/item/13551625775) runs 10 copies at a RAP near 4,999, and [Snaker Assassin](/item/13014108294) has 100 copies at a RAP of 6,676.

Two rules change completely once you cross into UGC. You cannot trade them. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so UGC copies change hands through resale and nothing else. And the money splits differently: on a UGC Limited resale the documentation gives 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so a UGC reseller nets half the sale price and needs to double their money just to break even. On a classic Assassin, Roblox's marketplace fee is 30% and you keep 70%, so a 25,000 Robux sale returns 17,500 to you and break-even resale is about 1.43 times what you paid.

Holding periods differ too. After buying a UGC Limited at launch there is up to a 30 day stretch where you cannot resell it, and up to 7 days after buying a resale copy.

## What should collectors watch next?

The scarce end is the part with room to move. The Dark Assassin's RAP is years behind its street price and will stay that way until a copy publicly sells, so if one ever does, expect the catalog number to jump hard in one step. That jump would be the catalog catching up to prices traders already use, so stay calm about what it means.

The mid-tier is the practical place to buy. The Gray Assassin and the Evil Assassin both sit in the low twenty-thousands with real listings on them, which means you can get in and out without waiting months. Their lowest asks and RAPs are within a few thousand Robux of each other, and that tightness is the sign of a market that actually clears.

The Cloaked Assassin is a different purchase entirely. At a RAP near 1,000 Robux across 15,570 copies, it is an avatar item that happens to be tradeable, and nobody should expect it to behave like the rare members. If you want to track real listings on any of these, the [reseller tools](/resell) show the full ask ladder, and the [Deals feed](/deals) surfaces copies listed under their recent average, though you will need to be signed in to use it.

None of this is financial advice. Limited prices move on collector mood, and a thin market can sit still for a year and then reprice in a day.

Figures in this article come from RBX Invest catalog data and Roblox's own item and economy data as of October 4, 2026, with fee and resale rules verified against Roblox's marketplace documentation at [create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace](https://create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace/marketplace-fees-and-commissions) the same day.

## FAQ

### What is the Roblox Assassin series?

The Roblox Assassin series is a group of seven classic Limiteds that Roblox released between April 2010 and August 2013, all using a hooded and masked design. The members are the Cloaked Assassin, Gray Assassin, Dark Hooded Assassin of the All Seeing Order, Dark Assassin, White Assassin Hood, 1337 Cyber Assassin and Evil Assassin from the Bleakest Timeline.

### Which Assassin Limited is worth the most?

The Dark Assassin, by trader consensus. With only 16 copies in existence, collectors value a copy far above its 81,699 Robux RAP. The White Assassin Hood holds the highest RAP in our catalog at 200,000 Robux, but consensus street value puts the Dark Assassin ahead of it.

### How many copies of the Dark Assassin exist?

Sixteen. Roblox's item data reports 16 total copies and zero stock remaining, which makes it one of the smallest copy counts among classic Limiteds and roughly one copy for every 973 Cloaked Assassins.

### Can you still buy an Assassin Limited?

Yes, from other players. All seven are off sale, so you buy a resale copy on Roblox's marketplace or trade for one. As of October 4, 2026 the Cloaked Assassin had a copy listed at 1,099 Robux and the Evil Assassin at 23,000, while the White Assassin Hood had none listed at all.

### Are Assassin Limiteds tradeable?

Yes. All seven classic members are Roblox-created Limiteds, and Roblox's marketplace documentation confirms that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. Both sides of a trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription. UGC Assassin hoods made by community creators cannot be traded at all.

### Why is one Dark Assassin listed for over 618 million Robux?

Because the owner does not want to sell it. Posting an impossible price keeps a copy technically listed while making sure nobody buys it, and owners of very thin items do this often. Read a listing like that as confirmation that no real supply exists at any sane price.

### Is the Ninja Assassin a Limited?

No. The Ninja Assassin is a regular catalog hat Roblox created on January 8, 2011 at 350 Robux, with no copy cap, no serial numbers and no resale market. It shares the family's covered-face theme and stays out of the trading market entirely.

### How much does Roblox take when you resell an Assassin Limited?

Thirty percent, so you keep 70% of the sale price. Selling a copy at 25,000 Robux returns 17,500 to you, which means break-even resale is about 1.43 times what you paid. Reselling also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, though the buyer needs no subscription.
