*Roblox dragon Limiteds are 23 classic items from 2010 to 2018. The Frozen Dragon Soul Hood leads at a 399,894 RAP with just 65 copies.*

Roblox made 23 classic dragon Limiteds between 2010 and 2018, and nearly all of the money in the family sits in four of them. A Limited is a Roblox item with a fixed number of copies that can only change hands through resale or trade once Roblox stops selling it. The [Frozen Dragon Soul Hood](/item/833772556) leads the family on RAP at 399,894 R$ with 65 copies, the [Emeraldwrath Dragon](/item/105344365) and [Rubywrath Dragon](/item/105344861) sit at 100 and 96 copies, and the remaining 20 items share about 119,600 copies, which is why most of the group costs less than 25,000 Robux.

**Quick answer:** Roblox's dragon Limiteds are 23 fixed-supply classic items released from February 2010 to May 2018. Three carry a RAP above 100,000 R$, three have 100 copies or fewer, and the cheapest one asks under 1,000 Robux.

## What counts as a dragon Limited on Roblox? Any Roblox-made dragon item with a fixed print

This covers the 23 items Roblox itself published whose catalog name contains the word dragon and whose supply is now frozen. Two labels show up in that group. A plain Limited went off sale and stopped minting new copies, so the supply is whatever had been bought by then. A Limited U sold a fixed stock from day one, and each copy carries a serial number, which is the numbered slot in that print. Both kinds trade the same way, and you can read the difference in more depth in our [Limited vs Limited U guide](/articles/limited-vs-limited-u-roblox).

Three columns do most of the work below. RAP (recent average price) is a smoothed average of an item's whole sale history, so it moves one tenth of the way toward each new sale. Copies is how many exist. Lowest ask is the cheapest copy a reseller currently has listed, also called the resale floor. Live rankings for the whole group sit on the [dragon items collection page](/collections/dragon-items), and the [items leaderboard](/items) ranks every classic Limited beside them.

One family is missing on purpose. The dragon-skull hats named after Tolkien's dragons, Chrysophylax and Ancalagon among them, do not carry dragon in their names and have their own write-up in the [Dragon Head series history](/articles/dragon-head-series-history-roblox). Three more items do carry the word (Pete's Dragon Tail, the Dragon Famedal and the Mini Orange Dragon Shoulder Pet), but Roblox reports zero copies in circulation and no resale market for each, so there is nothing to price.

## Every Roblox dragon Limited ranked by value: the full table

Rows run in order of trader consensus street value, meaning what collectors currently pay for a copy. Where no consensus figure exists, the row falls back to RAP. All figures are from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2, 2026.

RAP would hand you a different top four. It puts the Frozen hood first and the Emeraldwrath fourth, because RAP lags badly on items that trade once a year. The sales column is the tell: the top three items logged a combined four resales in twelve months, while the three Ultimate Dragon Faces logged 2,205.

## Which dragon Limited is worth the most? The Frozen Dragon Soul Hood, at a 399,894 R$ RAP

![Frozen Dragon Soul Hood](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/833772556?size=420)

The Frozen Dragon Soul Hood is the family's headline item. Roblox sold it for 10,000 Robux on a one hour timer during the Memorial Day 2017 sale, and the Roblox Wiki records 66 purchases before the timer ran out, one more copy than the 65 our catalog tracks today. It stayed an ordinary off-sale hat for five years and only became a Limited on July 4, 2022, which is a route a surprising number of rare items take. Our guide to [off-sale items going Limited](/articles/offsale-roblox-items-going-limited) covers how that switch works and why it tends to reprice an item overnight.

Its twin is the better lesson. The [Burning Dragon Soul Hood](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Catalog:Burning_Dragon_Soul_Hood) went out in the same one hour window at the same price and sold 62 copies. Roblox never flipped it to Limited status, and Roblox's own item data still reports it with no resale listings, so only one of the two hoods can change hands today.

Its own market is fragile. One copy sold in the past twelve months, on January 23, 2026, for 999,998 Robux, which is two and a half times the RAP, and the cheapest copy listed today asks 5,000,000 Robux. At 65 copies, a single owner sets the price.

## The Wrath dragons: 96 and 100 copies, and the thinnest market in the family

![Emeraldwrath Dragon](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/105344365?size=420)

The Rubywrath Dragon and Emeraldwrath Dragon are the family's scarcest tradeable items and the clearest case of RAP being out of date. The Rubywrath went up on January 31, 2013 at 250 Robux and the Emeraldwrath followed that spring at 2,000 Robux, according to the Roblox Wiki, and both catalog descriptions are jokes about splitting from the Crimsonwrath and Azurewrath over color preferences. Those parent items have their own history in our [Azurewrath series write-up](/articles/azurewrath-series-history-roblox).

Look at what each one actually did. The Emeraldwrath's last recorded resale was 500,000 Robux on October 24, 2025, against a RAP of 91,995. The Rubywrath has logged two resales in twelve months and the most recent went for 360,000 Robux, against a RAP of 114,173. Neither RAP has caught up because of how the formula works: new RAP = old RAP + (sale price − old RAP) ÷ 10. One sale only moves the number a tenth of the way toward itself. Work it with round numbers. An item sitting at a 50,000 RAP that sells one copy for 500,000 comes out at 50,000 + 450,000 ÷ 10, so 95,000. The sale was ten times the old RAP and the RAP not quite doubled.

That gap is why experienced traders price thin items off recent sales and current asks. Our [RAP explainer](/articles/what-is-rap-roblox) walks through the smoothing in detail.

## Dragon Ninja Mask: a 100,000 RAP with nothing behind it

![Dragon Ninja Mask](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/74175019?size=420)

The Dragon Ninja Mask is the strangest row in the table. Roblox's item data reports it as a Limited U with zero total quantity, no resellers and no resale price, and our sale records contain no resales for it at all. Its RAP still reads 100,000 Robux, matching the 100,000 Robux it was priced at in 2012.

The Roblox Wiki documents it as an item from the April Fools incident of 2012 that sold five copies before all of them were deleted, leaving Roblox as the only owner, and notes that the RAP appeared on October 3, 2019 without any sale behind it. That history is community-maintained, so treat the details as lore. What Roblox's own data confirms is the part a buyer cares about: no copies, no listings, no way in. An asset can carry a RAP with no market behind it.

## Azure Dragon's Magic Slayer: the most tradeable item at the top of the family

![Azure Dragon's Magic Slayer](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/268586231?size=420)

Among the family's expensive items, this 2015 gear item (gear is an equippable tool you can use in an experience) is the one that moves. Roblox published it on July 10, 2015 at 5,000 Robux on a one day timer and it went Limited on July 26, 2015, leaving 288 copies. It logged five resales in the past twelve months, with the most recent at 298,999 Robux on September 21, 2026, and the floor today sits at 249,999 Robux against a 203,430 RAP.

Five sales a year is still thin, but the gap between the ask and the last sale is small enough that a buyer can work out a fair number. The [classic gear collection](/collections/classic-gear) shows the rest of Roblox's gear Limiteds live.

## Why are most dragon Limiteds cheap? Stock ran into the thousands

Roblox printed the rest of the family in volume, and the prices follow. The pattern repeats across the group.

Lunar New Year items came in big batches. The [Year of the Dragon Lantern](/item/70476451) and [Dragon's Breath Potion](/item/70476435) both landed on January 20, 2012, days before the Year of the Dragon began on January 23, at 1,984 and 496 copies. The [Hat of the Week: Year of the Tiger Dragon](/item/22151798) arrived in February 2010 around the start of the Year of the Tiger, which explains the mixed-up name.

Promotional items came in bigger batches still. The [Dragon's Blaze Sword](/item/105351545) was free with a GameStop Roblox card redemption in February 2013 and became a Limited that March, and 7,648 copies exist. Our [gift card items guide](/articles/roblox-gift-card-items-guide) lists the rest of that category. The [Regal Dragon Fabergé Egg](/item/110705006) was an Egg Hunt 2013 prize that only became a Limited in September 2022, and its 13,986 copies make it the cheapest dragon item on the board at an 886 Robux ask. It belongs to the egg family covered in our [Fabergé series history](/articles/faberge-series-history-roblox) and the [Egg Hunt 2013 write-up](/articles/egg-hunt-2013-roblox-hatching-eggs).

The three Ultimate Dragon Faces close the table. Roblox sold them in the Memorial Day 2018 sale on May 28, 2018 at tiered stock and prices: Red at 250 Robux with 10,000 in stock, Blue at 100 Robux with 25,000, Green at 25 Robux with 50,000. A handful of copies have been deleted since, which is why the table shows 9,994 of the Red face's original 10,000. All three were classic 2D faces until Roblox replaced face Limiteds with animated dynamic heads in a migration that finished in March 2026, and face values across the market fell hard through that period, which we tracked in [the decline in Roblox face Limited values](/articles/roblox-limited-faces-value-decline). Today all three sit between 1,600 and 2,548 RAP, and they are the only dragon items that trade in any volume.

## Does Roblox still make dragon Limiteds? No, not since 2018

The newest classic dragon Limited is from May 2018, and Roblox has not added one since. Dragons kept coming as ordinary catalog items instead. The Dragon of the Week series put out five dressed-up shoulder dragons between September 28 and October 26, 2018 according to the Roblox Wiki, and [Dragon of the Week: Dragonzilla](https://www.roblox.com/catalog/2463672712/Dragon-of-the-Week-Dragonzilla) is still on sale from Roblox for 100 Robux today. An item you can buy new has no fixed supply, so it has no resale market and no RAP. Our guide on whether [Roblox still makes classic Limiteds](/articles/does-roblox-still-make-classic-limiteds) covers what replaced them.

## Are dragon Limiteds a good buy? Scarce at the top, crowded everywhere else

The theme has a real buyer pool. Dragon items share collectors with knight, Korblox and horn hats, and that overlap is the most plausible reason a 2013 hat with 100 copies still clears six figures on the rare occasion one sells.

Three cautions sit against that.

Entry prices at the top are set by one seller. The five most valuable dragon items logged nine resales between them in the past year, and the Frozen hood and Dragon Tamer both carry asks of exactly 5,000,000 Robux, which is an owner who is not really selling. A price that far above RAP means you will negotiate or wait, and patience is the whole strategy in a 65-copy market.

The cheap end is a volume game. The Ultimate Dragon Faces and the Fabergé egg trade constantly at razor-thin margins. Classic Limited resales carry a 30% marketplace fee, so the seller nets 70% of the sale price and needs about 1.43 times their cost to break even, as our [marketplace fees breakdown](/articles/roblox-marketplace-fees-explained) sets out. On a 1,600 Robux face, that math rarely works, and you can watch the floors move live in the [Deals](/deals) feed or track positions in the [reseller terminal](/resell).

Robux you make this way stays in Robux. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that Robux acquired from trading or selling items you did not create are not considered earned and are ineligible for the Developer Exchange program, so dragon profits buy more items rather than cash out.

This is market information and not financial advice; Limited prices fall as often as they rise, and thin markets fall further.

## FAQ

### How many dragon Limiteds are there on Roblox?

There are 23 classic dragon Limiteds with market data, released between February 2010 and May 2018. Three more Roblox items carry dragon in the name but have zero copies in circulation and no resale market, and the Tolkien-named Dragon Head hats are counted as their own series.

### What is the most valuable Roblox dragon Limited?

The Frozen Dragon Soul Hood, at a 399,894 Robux RAP with 65 copies, is the most valuable on RAP. Trader consensus puts the 100-copy Emeraldwrath Dragon alongside it, because the Emeraldwrath's last recorded resale was 500,000 Robux while its RAP still reads 91,995.

### Can you trade dragon Limiteds on Roblox?

Yes. All 23 are classic Roblox-made Limiteds, which are the only items the player-to-player trade system supports, and both accounts in a trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription. Classic Limiteds carry a 2-day hold after a trade and a 7-day hold after a resale purchase before you can move them again.

### Why does the Dragon Ninja Mask have a 100,000 RAP with no copies for sale?

Because RAP is attached to the asset and survives without a live market. Roblox's item data reports the Dragon Ninja Mask with zero total quantity, no resellers and no resale price, and our records show no resales for it at all, so the 100,000 figure buys you nothing.

### What is the cheapest dragon Limited?

The Regal Dragon Fabergé Egg, listed from 886 Robux with a 683 RAP. It was an Egg Hunt 2013 prize that only became a Limited in September 2022, and 13,986 copies exist, which keeps it at the bottom of the family.

### Which dragon Limiteds actually sell regularly?

The three Ultimate Dragon Faces, which logged 2,205 resales between them in the past twelve months, plus the Regal Dragon Fabergé Egg at 268 and the Dragon's Blaze Sword at 169. Everything priced above 20,000 Robux sells fewer than 30 copies a year.

### Can you still buy a dragon item directly from Roblox?

Yes. Roblox still sells Dragon of the Week: Dragonzilla for 100 Robux. Items on open sale have no fixed supply, so they carry no serial numbers, no RAP and no resale market, which is what separates them from the 23 Limiteds above.

### Do you keep all the Robux when you resell a dragon Limited?

No. A classic Limited resale carries a 30% marketplace fee, so you keep 70% of the sale price and need roughly 1.43 times what you paid to break even. Reselling also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on the seller's account, though the buyer needs no subscription.
