*Roblox Limiteds cost from 55 Robux to millions. See what you pay in every price tier, with live floors, RAP and copy counts from our catalog.*

Roblox Limiteds cost anywhere from about 55 Robux to millions of Robux, and the gap comes down to how many copies exist and how many people want one. The [Valkyrie Helm](/item/1365767), the classic hat most traders treat as the market's landmark, had a lowest asking price of 249,499 R$ on September 15, 2026. That same day the cheapest [Dominus Aureus](/item/138932314) on the resale market was listed at 8,877,650 R$, while community-made Limiteds with over a million copies in circulation sat at 55 R$. Copy count explains most of that spread.

**Quick answer:** About half of the UGC Limiteds with a copy for sale list under 1,000 Robux, while classic Limiteds published by Roblox cluster between 1,000 and 10,000 R$. Only 99 classic Limiteds had a listing above 1,000,000 R$ on September 15, 2026.

Here is the whole market by price band, counting only items with at least one copy listed for sale in the RBX Invest catalog on that date.

| Price band | Classic Limiteds | UGC Limiteds | What you find there |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Under 100 R$ | 0 | 11,071 | Community-made items printed in bulk |
| 100 to 1,000 R$ | 261 | 29,963 | Old free and Ticket-era classics |
| 1,000 to 10,000 R$ | 1,020 | 29,131 | Famous cheap classic hats |
| 10,000 to 100,000 R$ | 606 | 9,441 | Event hats and mid-size runs |
| 100,000 to 1,000,000 R$ | 204 | 1,210 | Well-known collector hats |
| Over 1,000,000 R$ | 99 | 2,394 | Gems: horns, Clockwork, Dominus |

## What is a Roblox Limited, and why do prices vary this much?

A Limited is an item Roblox stops selling once a set number of copies is gone. After that, the only way to get one is to buy a copy from another player at whatever price that player is asking. There are two kinds. A classic Limited was published by Roblox itself and can be traded player to player. A UGC Limited was made by a community creator, and it changes hands only through Marketplace resales, because Roblox's trade system covers classic Limiteds only.

Copies means the number of units that were ever minted. An item with 1.2 million copies has someone willing to sell at any hour, so its price parks at the bottom of the market. An item with 250 copies can still be cheap if nobody is chasing it, and an item with 300 copies that everybody wants is where the millions live.

Two numbers describe every Limited on this site. RAP, short for recent average price, is a smoothed average of an item's whole sale history: each new sale pulls it one tenth of the way from the old RAP toward the sale price. The lowest ask, also called the floor, is the cheapest copy listed for sale right now. RAP shows you where sales have been sitting. The floor shows you what you would pay today. Our [RAP explainer](/articles/what-is-rap-roblox) walks through the formula with worked numbers.

One more word you will see below. A gem is our term for a scarce, high-value Limited, the tier where copy counts drop into the hundreds and prices run into the millions.

## What can you buy under 100 Robux? UGC Limiteds with huge print runs

This is the entry floor of the whole market, and it is entirely UGC Limiteds. A creator publishes a few thousand or a few hundred thousand copies, the run sells out over months, and the resale floor settles near whatever the launch price was. No classic Limited in our catalog has a listing this low.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |

| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/13386099479?size=150) [Catalog Avatar Creator: Mascot \[Right Shoulder\]](/item/13386099479) | 1,234,567 | 55 | 55 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/13032578366?size=150) [Black Messy Anime Layered Hair](/item/13032578366) | 50,000 | 65 | 65 R$ |

Look at the last row for a second, because it carries the most useful lesson here. The Alien Guard Mask has 250 copies. That is fewer copies than a Dominus Aureus. It still sells for 95 Robux, because scarcity only produces a price when demand shows up to meet it. Thousands of UGC Limiteds have tiny print runs and no buyers.

To browse this tier live, [cheap Limiteds under 100 Robux](/collections/cheap-limiteds-under-100) is ranked and updated continuously.

## What do Limiteds cost between 100 and 1,000 Robux? Old free and Ticket-era classics

Classic Limiteds start showing up in this band, roughly 260 of them. Most were never sold for much in the first place. They were free giveaways or Ticket items, Tickets being the second currency Roblox retired in 2016, and Roblox flipped them to Limited status years after they went off sale.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/3581868178?size=150) [Goldrow](/item/3581868178) | 6,467,906 | 302 | 329 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1230404580?size=150) [Back Axe Guitar](/item/1230404580) | 339,861 | 578 | 599 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/44113968?size=150) [Kuddle E. Koala](/item/44113968) | 1,977,368 | 589 | 650 R$ |

Goldrow was handed out free in August 2019 to celebrate Roblox passing 100 million monthly players, and it went Limited in October 2022 with roughly 6.5 million copies already sitting in inventories, which is community-documented history on the [Roblox Wiki](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Catalog:Goldrow). With that much supply there is no scarcity story at all, and the price reflects it. Kuddle E. Koala cost 10 Tickets back in 2011 and still trades for the price of a cheap hair accessory. Our [guide to cheap Limiteds under 1,000 Robux](/articles/cheap-roblox-limiteds-under-1000-robux) digs into which items in this band actually move.

## What can you get for 1,000 to 10,000 Robux? Famous classic hats

This is the sweet spot for a first real classic Limited, and it is also the busiest band on the classic side with just over a thousand items listed. The hats here are recognizable on sight, they have enough buyers that you can sell within a reasonable window, and they cost less than a month of most people's Robux budget.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/20573078?size=150) [Shaggy](/item/20573078) | 2,071,903 | 1,517 | 1,680 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1048037?size=150) [Bighead](/item/1048037) | 190,061 | 2,740 | 2,797 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/19027209?size=150) [Perfectly Legitimate Business Hat](/item/19027209) | 648,594 | 3,684 | 3,750 R$ |

Bighead first went on sale in July 2007 and only became a Limited in May 2022, per the [Roblox Wiki](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Catalog:Bighead). The Perfectly Legitimate Business Hat was a free reward for verifying your account in December 2009 and went Limited in 2012. Both are older than most Roblox accounts, and both cost a fraction of what a Dominus costs. Supply and demand set the price, and both of these hats have hundreds of thousands of copies floating around.

Notice the Business Hat row: its floor of 3,750 R$ sits just above its RAP of 3,684. On items with hundreds of thousands of copies the two numbers hug each other, and the spread between them is usually a few percent. That hat also belongs to the family covered in our [Pinstripe Fedora series history](/articles/pinstripe-fedora-series-history-roblox).

## What do 10,000 to 100,000 Robux Limiteds look like? Real scarcity starts here

Copy counts drop hard in this band. You are moving from millions of copies to thousands, and the number of people who can afford to bid shrinks with it.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/162066057?size=150) [Adurite Antlers](/item/162066057) | 21,293 | 13,500 | 13,900 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/10159600649?size=150) [8-Bit Royal Crown](/item/10159600649) | 251,515 | 27,433 | 27,900 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1172161?size=150) [The Bluesteel Bathelm](/item/1172161) | 3,062 | 42,116 | 41,000 R$ |

The 8-Bit Royal Crown breaks the copy-count pattern with 251,515 copies at a 27,900 R$ floor, which tells you demand is carrying that price. The Bluesteel Bathelm, a 2007 hat with 3,062 copies, arrives at a similar price from the opposite direction. Two different routes into the same band.

## What costs 100,000 to 1,000,000 Robux? The hats everyone recognizes

Around 204 classic Limiteds sit here, and this is where a Limited becomes a status item. Copy counts run in the low thousands to low tens of thousands, and the buyers are mostly long-term collectors.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1365767?size=150) [Valkyrie Helm](/item/1365767) | 12,523 | 241,942 | 249,499 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/439945661?size=150) [Silver King of the Night](/item/439945661) | 10,028 | 407,288 | 411,999 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1235488?size=150) [Clockwork's Headphones](/item/1235488) | 3,669 | 910,397 | 885,600 R$ |

The Valkyrie Helm went on sale for Tickets in January 2008 and only became a Limited in 2013, and it is still the item most people picture when they hear the word Limited. We covered its full run in the [Valkyrie Helm history](/articles/valkyrie-helm-history-roblox), and the [Valkyrie collection](/collections/valkyrie) ranks every variant live. Clockwork's Headphones went Limited during Black Friday 2011 with only a few thousand copies sold, which is why a 2007 accessory now asks close to a million Robux. The rest of that family sits in the [Clockwork collection](/collections/clockwork).

## Which Roblox Limiteds cost over 1,000,000 Robux? Horns, Clockwork, and Dominus

The top tier is small. Only 99 classic Limiteds had a live listing above 1,000,000 R$ on September 15, 2026, and 75 carried a RAP that high, which is the better measure because it comes from completed sales. The same families keep appearing: horn hats, the Clockwork accessories, the Dominus line, and the Sparkle Time fedoras.

| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/1744060292?size=150) [Poisoned Horns of the Toxic Wasteland](/item/1744060292) | 3,180 | 1,440,601 | 1,399,000 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/11748356?size=150) [Clockwork's Shades](/item/11748356) | 1,418 | 1,978,082 | 1,888,888 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/138932314?size=150) [Dominus Aureus](/item/138932314) | 302 | 7,620,311 | 8,877,650 R$ |

The Dominus Aureus came out of a Developer Exchange gift in December 2013 and went Limited the following year with a few hundred copies in existence. At 302 copies, almost every owner is a long-term holder, so months can pass between sales. The [Dominus collection](/collections/dominus) and the [horns collection](/collections/horns) track these families live, and the [most expensive Limiteds](/collections/most-expensive-limiteds) page is the top of the market in one ranked list.

## Why is a Limited's lowest price sometimes far above its RAP?

![Black Iron King of the Night](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/439946249?size=420)

Because on thin markets the last recorded sale can be months old while owners have moved their prices up. Take the [Black Iron King of the Night](/item/439946249). Its RAP reads 2,222,951 across 201 copies, and the cheapest listing on September 15, 2026 was 8,900,000 R$. Compare that with [Dominus Messor](/item/64444871), which carries a much higher RAP of 3,824,094 across 266 copies. Rank those two by RAP and Messor comes out on top. Trader consensus puts the Black Iron King of the Night above it, because so few copies change hands that its RAP has gone stale while the small group of people who own one price it far higher.

The gap runs the other way too. Clockwork's Shades has a RAP of 1,978,082, and trader consensus sits below that figure. On items this thin, treat RAP as a starting point and read the ladder of live listings before you make an offer. The [reseller terminal](/resell) shows that ladder for every item we track.

Some listings at the top of the market exist only to park an item. You will see copies posted at tens of billions of Robux by owners who have no intention of selling and simply want the item off their sale page, a habit we covered in [Limiteds listed for billions](/articles/roblox-limiteds-listed-for-billions). When a floor looks absurd, it usually means every real seller has already left the book.

## What do you actually keep when you sell a Limited?

Less than the sticker price, and the split depends on which kind of Limited you hold. When you resell a classic Limited, Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee and you keep 70%. To break even on a copy you bought for 10,000 R$, you need to sell it for about 14,300 R$.

UGC Limiteds are harsher. Roblox's [marketplace fee documentation](https://create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace/marketplace-fees-and-commissions) sets the resale split at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. The reseller keeps half, so a 100 R$ item has to resell at 200 R$ before you have made a single Robux. Our [marketplace fees explainer](/articles/roblox-marketplace-fees-explained) works through more examples.

Three other rules shape what a purchase really costs you:

- Trading and reselling both require an active Roblox Plus subscription, which costs $4.99 USD per month. Buying a resale copy does not require one.
- Holding periods lock up your purchase for a while. Buy a classic Limited on resale and you wait 7 days before you can resell it, or 2 days after receiving one in a trade. Buy a UGC Limited at launch from the creator and the wait runs up to 30 days, or up to 7 days if you bought it on the resale market. Our [holding periods guide](/articles/roblox-limited-holding-periods) covers the details.
- The Roblox Plus purchase discount does not apply to resale purchases. It cuts the price on items sold by creators, so it will not help you buy a classic Limited from another player.

None of this is financial advice. Limited prices fall as well as rise, a cheap item can sit unsold for months, and an expensive one can drop faster than a cheap one when a whole category goes out of fashion.

## Which price tier should a new trader start in?

Buy the tier you can sit on. The most common beginner mistake is spending an entire Robux balance on one item in the 10,000 to 100,000 band, discovering that it takes three weeks to find a buyer, and then selling into the first lowball offer that appears. Items in the 100 to 10,000 range usually sell within days, and that liquidity teaches you more about the market than one expensive hat ever will.

The [items leaderboard](/items-leaderboard) ranks the whole market by live data, the [collections hub](/collections) slices it by price band and item family, and the [deal feed](/deals) flags listings that drop below an item's usual floor. The deal feed requires a signed-in account.

Prices, copy counts and RAP figures in this article come from the RBX Invest catalog as of September 15, 2026, fee and resale rules come from Roblox's marketplace documentation, and release dates are community-documented on the Roblox Wiki and cross-checked against our own catalog records.

## FAQ

### How much does a Roblox Limited cost?

Roblox Limiteds range from about 55 Robux to several million Robux. Roughly half of the UGC Limiteds with a copy for sale list under 1,000 R$, classic Limiteds most often sit between 1,000 and 10,000 R$, and only 99 classic Limiteds had a listing above 1,000,000 R$ on September 15, 2026.

### What is the cheapest Roblox Limited you can buy?

The cheapest Limiteds are community-made UGC Limiteds with very large print runs, which list at 55 to 95 Robux. Classic Limiteds published by Roblox start higher, around 300 R$ for mass-distributed items like Goldrow, and none of them carry a listing under 100 R$.

### Why is a Limited's lowest price higher than its RAP?

Because RAP is a smoothed average of past sales while the floor is what someone is asking today. On items with only a few hundred copies, months can pass between sales, so RAP goes stale as owners raise their asking prices. The gap is widest on scarce items and narrowest on items with millions of copies.

### Do you need Roblox Plus to buy a Limited?

No. Buying a resale copy needs no subscription. Selling or reselling a Limited does require an active Roblox Plus subscription, and so does trading, which needs Plus on both accounts.

### How much do you keep when you resell a Roblox Limited?

You keep 70% of the sale price on a classic Limited, since Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee. On a UGC Limited the reseller receives 50%, with 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so you need to double your money just to break even.

### How long do you have to wait before reselling a Limited you just bought?

Seven days after buying a classic Limited on resale, and two days after receiving one in a trade. For UGC Limiteds the hold runs up to 30 days when you buy at launch from the creator, and up to 7 days when you buy on the resale market.

### Are expensive Roblox Limiteds a better investment than cheap ones?

Not automatically. Expensive items have fewer buyers, so they take longer to sell and their prices move in bigger jumps. Cheap items sell quickly but rarely gain much. Scarcity only creates value when demand exists, which is why a 250-copy UGC Limited can sit at 95 Robux while a 302-copy Dominus asks millions.

### How much is a Roblox Limited worth in real money?

That depends on the Robux rate you convert at, and the rate differs between buying Robux and cashing out through the Developer Exchange program. Our [Robux to USD guide](/articles/robux-to-usd-devex-rates) covers both directions.
