*Roblox space Limiteds run from 2010 cosmic hats to Interstellar Wings, the family leader at 854,236 RAP. See copies, RAP and live asks for all 10.*

Roblox's space Limiteds are a small group of cosmic hats, wings and faces that Roblox itself made between 2010 and 2016, and the best known of them is [Interstellar Wings](/item/557057917), a 100-copy back accessory from the Black Friday 2016 sale that carries a RAP of 854,236 R$. A Limited is an item Roblox has stopped selling, so the only way to get one now is to buy it from another player or trade for it. RAP stands for recent average price, the smoothed average of everything an item has ever sold for. Ten Roblox-made items carry the theme, ranging from the 43-copy [Hooded Spacelord](/item/63692675) down to the 5,004-copy Pink Galaxy Gaze, and the gap between what these items last sold for and what sellers are asking today is the biggest thing a buyer needs to understand about them.

**Quick answer:** Interstellar Wings is the highest-RAP Roblox space Limited at 854,236 R$ across 100 copies, but traders rate the 43-copy Hooded Spacelord above it, because that hat almost never changes hands and its RAP has gone stale.

## What counts as a space Limited on Roblox? Ten Roblox-made cosmic items

Roblox spread these out over six years and several slots on the avatar, tied together by one idea: stars, planets, galaxies and aliens on your head, your back or your face. Three are 2010 hats, one is a 2011 hood, one is a 2012 hat, four are 2016 faces and one is a 2016 pair of wings. Collectors group them by that theme, the way they group the [Valkyrie helms](/collections/valkyrie) by shape or the Dominus line by name.

Three numbers matter before you read the table. Copies is the number that were ever made, and it never grows once an item goes off sale. The lowest ask is the cheapest copy anyone has listed for resale right now, which tells you what it would actually cost you today. RAP is the smoothed average of every sale in the item's history, and the formula moves it only a tenth of the way toward each new sale price, so one loud sale barely moves it and a quiet year leaves it frozen.

You can see all the classic hats in one live list on the [classic hats collection](/collections/classic-hats), and the Galaxy Gaze faces sit in the [classic faces collection](/collections/classic-faces).

## Which Roblox space Limited is worth the most? Hooded Spacelord leads on demand

![Hooded Spacelord](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/63692675?size=420)

The Hooded Spacelord is a starfield-textured hood from October 2011 with 43 copies, and collectors rate it as the most valuable item in the family even though its RAP of 290,715 R$ sits well under the wings. Its price data tells you why. Nobody has a copy listed. Of the 361 Roblox-made Limiteds carrying a RAP of 100,000 R$ or more, only 18 have zero copies for sale right now, and this hood is one of them.

That combination, 43 copies and an empty resale board, is what traders mean when they call an item thin. When a copy does surface, it trades in private between people who already know what it's worth, so the public RAP updates once every long while and drifts further behind the real price each year it doesn't. The Hooded Spacelord belongs to the [Hooded Lord series](/articles/hooded-lord-series-history-roblox) alongside the Frostlord and Firelord, which is how most people run into it.

The same stale-RAP effect shows up on [Moon Seeing Stars](/item/23301681), a 121-copy 2010 hat whose RAP reads 277,118 R$ while the cheapest listed copy asks 4,213,999 R$. That's a 15x gap. The real price sits somewhere between the two, and on items this thin it sits much closer to the ask. [Alien Monarch](/item/97852159), a 249-copy hat from November 2012, shows the same shape at a smaller size: 31,456 R$ RAP against a 298,777 R$ ask.

## Why does Interstellar Wings cost so much? 100 copies from Black Friday 2016

![Interstellar Wings](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/557057917?size=420)

Interstellar Wings went on sale during the Black Friday 2016 event, which ran from November 25 to November 28, 2016, priced at 25,000 Robux with 100 in stock. The Roblox Wiki's [Black Friday 2016](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Friday_2016) page records those launch terms, and our catalog data confirms 100 copies exist today.

Anyone who bought one at 25,000 R$ and still holds it is sitting on a RAP of 854,236 R$, roughly 34 times the sticker price. The cheapest copy currently listed asks 7,500,000 R$, which is one seller's number and a long way above anything the sale history supports. Back accessories are also a thin slice of the classic catalog: of the roughly 2,540 Roblox-made Limiteds we track, 103 go on the back, against 1,559 hats. A wings item with 100 copies is scarce twice over. If you want to see how the rest of the winged items compare, we broke the whole category down in [the wings Limiteds history](/articles/wings-limiteds-history-roblox).

## Why is the Galaxy Emperor listed at 10 billion Robux?

![Galaxy Emperor](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/36466277?size=420)

The Galaxy Emperor, a 142-copy hat from October 8, 2010, shows a lowest ask of 9,999,999,999 R$. No one is paying that. A holder who doesn't want to sell but can't be bothered to delist will park an absurd price on their copy, and because that copy is the only one listed, it becomes the item's floor. Its RAP of 96,309 R$ is the more useful number here, and even that is old.

Placeholder asks like this are common enough on classic items that we wrote a whole piece on [Limiteds listed for billions of Robux](/articles/roblox-limiteds-listed-for-billions). When you meet one, treat it as a sign that the market is empty, and check the item's sale history before you decide it's unaffordable.

## What happened to the Galaxy Gaze faces? The dynamic head migration hit them

![Green Galaxy Gaze](https://img.rbxinvest.com/bundle/217726554907562?size=420)

The four Galaxy Gazes came out in June 2016 as a set of space-themed faces in green, blue, purple and pink, priced from 1,000 R$ down to 50 R$ with stock rising as the price fell. The Roblox Wiki's [Galaxy Gaze series](https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Galaxy_Gaze_%28series%29) page notes that their catalog descriptions all quote lyrics from Elvis Presley's "Flaming Star", which is the kind of detail Roblox's 2016 catalog team liked to hide in item pages.

Faces have had a hard two years. Roblox's January 2026 "Completing the Dynamic Head Migration" announcement replaced classic 2D face Limiteds one for one with animated versions, keeping each copy's serial number (the ownership number stamped on it when it was minted) and leaving trading and resale untouched, and the rollout finished in March 2026. Face prices fell sharply through the months that followed, which we tracked in [why Roblox face Limiteds lost value](/articles/roblox-limited-faces-value-decline).

You can see the damage in the Gazes' own numbers. Green Galaxy Gaze carries a RAP of 159,870 R$ against a lowest ask of 109,999 R$, and Purple's ask of 42,856 R$ sits just under its 43,149 R$ RAP. Sellers asking below RAP is the signature of a category where buyers have walked away. The cheap end of the family is genuinely cheap: Pink Galaxy Gaze has 5,004 copies, the most of any item here, and a 24,900 R$ ask, which puts a real classic Limited within reach of a mid-sized budget.

## Are space Limiteds a good buy in 2026?

They split into two very different bets, and you should treat them differently.

The thin end, meaning Hooded Spacelord, Moon Seeing Stars, Galaxy Emperor and Space Cowboy, holds value well because supply is tiny and holders are patient. The cost is liquidity. If you buy one, assume you may wait months for a buyer at your price, and check the [items leaderboard](/items-leaderboard) to see how the wider classic market is moving before you commit.

The face end, meaning the four Galaxy Gazes, is cheaper and much easier to enter, and it carries the whole face category's risk. Face prices fell hard after the migration, and the Gazes' asks still sit at or below their RAPs.

Do the fee math before either. On a classic Limited resale, Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee and you keep 70%, so a copy you sell at 100,000 R$ nets you 70,000 R$ and you need roughly 1.43 times your cost just to break even. Our [marketplace fees breakdown](/articles/roblox-marketplace-fees-explained) walks through every split. There are also holding periods: after buying a resale copy of a classic Limited you wait 7 days before you can list it again, and after receiving one in a trade you wait 2 days. Trading needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on both sides, and per Roblox's marketplace documentation only Roblox-created Limiteds can be traded at all, so every item on this page is trade-eligible while community-made items are resale only.

If you want to catch one of these below its RAP, the [Deals feed](/deals) flags Limiteds listed under RAP as they appear, and you'll need to be signed in to use it. Star-themed classics are worth a look too: [The Void Star](/item/1125510) has 2,112 copies and a RAP of 3,425,870 R$, and we covered that line in [the Void Star series history](/articles/void-star-series-history-roblox).

None of this is financial advice. Robux you spend on Limiteds can lose value, so only buy what you'd be happy to keep wearing.

Prices, copy counts and lowest asks come from RBX Invest catalog data as of September 23, 2026, fee and trading rules from Roblox's marketplace documentation at create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace, and release details for Interstellar Wings and the Galaxy Gaze faces from the community-maintained Roblox Wiki.

## FAQ

### What are space Limiteds on Roblox?

Space Limiteds are Roblox-made Limited items with a cosmic theme, including hats like Galaxy Emperor and Space Cowboy, the Hooded Spacelord hood, the Interstellar Wings back accessory and the four Galaxy Gaze faces. Ten of them sit in our catalog, released between 2010 and 2016, and all are off sale, so they only change hands through resale or trade.

### Which Roblox space Limited has the highest RAP?

Interstellar Wings has the highest RAP of any space Limited at 854,236 R$, spread across 100 copies. It launched during the Black Friday 2016 sale at 25,000 Robux, so its recent average price is about 34 times what buyers originally paid.

### How much is the Hooded Spacelord worth?

The Hooded Spacelord has a RAP of 290,715 R$ across 43 copies, and no copy is currently listed for resale. Traders rate it above its RAP because so few exist and sales are rare, which leaves the published average behind the price people actually pay.

### Why is a Roblox item listed for billions of Robux?

An item listed for billions, like the Galaxy Emperor at 9,999,999,999 R$, has an owner who simply doesn't want to sell. Parking an impossible ask keeps the copy off the market while still showing as listed, and when it's the only copy for sale it becomes the item's floor.

### Did the Galaxy Gaze faces lose value?

Face Limiteds across the board fell sharply after Roblox replaced classic 2D faces with animated dynamic heads, a rollout that finished in March 2026, and the Gazes show it in their listings. Green Galaxy Gaze asks 109,999 R$ against a RAP of 159,870 R$, and Purple's 42,856 R$ ask sits just under its 43,149 R$ RAP. Asks at or below RAP mean buyers have stepped back.

### Can you trade space Limiteds on Roblox?

Yes. Every item on this page was made by Roblox, and Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. Both sides of the trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a classic Limited received in a trade can't be resold for 2 days.

### How much do you keep when you resell a classic Limited?

You keep 70% of the sale price on a classic Limited resale, because Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee. Selling a copy for 200,000 R$ puts 140,000 R$ in your account, so you need to sell for about 1.43 times what you paid before you make anything.

### What's the cheapest space Limited?

Pink Galaxy Gaze is the cheapest, with a lowest ask of 24,900 R$ and 5,004 copies, more than any other item in the family. Purple Galaxy Gaze is the next step up at 42,856 R$, and both are faces, so they carry the risk that has been pushing face prices down since the dynamic head migration.
