A Limited is an item Roblox has stopped selling, so the only way to get one now is to buy a copy from another player or trade for it. The smallest print in the family is Vaiobot's Moneylicious Tie at 97 copies, the largest is the Tickets Tie at 2,580,231, and the highest RAP belongs to the Rock N' Roll Necktie at 34,704 Robux across 303 copies. Twenty classic neckties from 2010 to 2016 The ties were never a numbered set. Roblox published them one or two at a time across six years, usually as cheap holiday or meme items with a joke in the description. What holds them together is the slot they fill and who made them: every item below is a neck accessory published by the Roblox account itself, which makes all of them classic Limiteds rather than UGC Limiteds (items built and sold by community creators). That distinction decides what you can do with them. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so ties can move through the player-to-player trade window, while UGC Limiteds only ever change hands through a resale. That is the only tie in the family with a print under 300, and 1,000 Robux in 2010 was a serious amount of money for a neck accessory. Its RAP is 28,494 Robux, which puts it second in the family behind the Rock N' Roll Necktie. Trader consensus puts it far higher than that, in the gem tier, well clear of everything else here. RAP is short for recent average price, and it is a smoothed average of what an item has actually sold for. Each new sale pulls it one tenth of the way toward that sale's price, so on an item that sells once or twice a year the number can sit years behind the real market. When 97 copies exist, most of them sit in long-term collections, and a stale RAP is what you get. If you see this tie quoted at its RAP, that is not a price anyone can actually buy at. The name comes from VaioBot, a Roblox account that community records list as a former administrator. That is the odd number in the family, because 125 Robux was cheap even then. The Skull Tie cost four times as much six months earlier and still sold more than twice as many. Roblox never published why some items stopped where they did, so treat any explanation as a guess. What is not a guess is the result: a 303-copy print with a RAP of 34,704 Robux and a cheapest listing of 35,000, which is unusually tight for an item this thin. Ask and RAP agreeing within 1% means the market has settled on a number, and that is rarer than it sounds on low-copy classics. Compare that with the Skull Tie one row above. Its RAP is 28,226 Robux and its cheapest live listing is 199,999. That is a seven times gap. Nothing is wrong with either figure. When 672 copies exist and almost nobody wants to sell, a single holder can list at whatever they like, and RAP will not move until someone actually pays it. Check the ask next to the RAP before you decide anything is cheap or expensive. ## What is the Tickets Tie? Roblox's Tix farewell, 2.58 million copies deep ![Tickets Tie](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/390972175?size=420) [Tickets Tie](/item/390972175) is the most owned Limited in this family by a factor of 48, at 2,580,231 copies. Roblox's catalog dates it to March 30, 2016, which falls inside Tixapalooza, the month-long sale Roblox ran from March 15 to April 13, 2016 to mark the end of Tickets, its free second currency. Tickets were removed from the site on April 14, 2016. Roblox's records hold no Robux launch price for it, which fits the Tixapalooza items: they were sold for Tickets, not Robux, and Tickets cost players nothing but time. Community records put the tie at 50 Tix. When an item is effectively free and every active player has the currency, you get a print in the millions. It was a plain catalog item for years before Roblox converted it into a Limited, part of the same wave that turned other Tix-era relics into tradeable collectibles. At a RAP of 573 Robux with copies listed from 600, this is about as cheap as a genuine 2016 Limited gets. It is a fine first Limited and a poor investment, and those two things are not in conflict. ## Why is the ROBLOX Tie worth more than most paid ties? Its catalog description reads: "You're fit to be tied. Prize in the build a ROBLOX HQ contest." It went up on July 20, 2010 and 1,889 copies exist, with a RAP of 22,806 Robux and a cheapest ask of 29,999. Prize items behave differently from purchased ones. Supply was set by however many entries Roblox chose to reward, not by who had Robux that week, and no amount of demand later can add a copy. Six ties in the table carry no Robux launch price, because they were prizes, holiday gifts or items sold for Tickets. The ROBLOX Tie is the scarcest of the six at 1,889 copies. A contest prize is also the hardest kind of item to argue with. The description names the contest, the count is fixed at 1,889, and nobody can earn one now, which is a fair part of why the cheapest listing sits about 31% above the RAP. ## Do Roblox tie Limiteds have serial numbers? Nine of the 20 are Limited U, short for Limited Unique, which means every copy carries a permanent serial number. The first copy sold is #1 forever, and low serials often trade at a premium over an ordinary copy of the same item. The serialized ties are Vaiobot's Moneylicious Tie, Skull Tie, Epic Face Tie, Humbug Tie, Bacon Tie, Lightning Tie, Cool Story Bro Tie, Art Tie and the Ninja Necktie. The other eleven are plain Limiteds, where one copy is interchangeable with any other. There is a pattern worth noticing: seven of the nine serialized ties sit in the top half of the table, with only the Art Tie and the Ninja Necktie below it. Roblox tended to serialize the items it expected people to care about, and expectation turned into a smaller print, and the smaller print did the rest. ## Which ties are not Limiteds? Roblox made plenty of ordinary neckties that never went Limited, and they are worth knowing about so you do not confuse them with the real thing. The Blue Roblox Tie and Red Striped Tie both went up in June 2010 at 55 Robux. The Steampunk Gear Necktie followed in 2019 at 55 Robux, and one-off promotional ties like the Nickelodeon Slime Tie, the Nerf Zombie Strike Tie and the Neon Blue Tie were given out through partnerships and gift card codes. None of them can be traded or resold, and none of them have a RAP. Four more sit in an odd middle state. Roblox's catalog now returns the Zebra Tie, Clown Tie, Green 8-Bit Tie and Adurite Neck Tie as collectible items rather than ordinary catalog items, but with nothing in stock, no resellers and no copy count on record. RBX Invest tracks all four and has no market data to show for any of them. Until copies exist and sales happen, there is nothing there to value. ## Are Roblox tie Limiteds worth buying in 2026? This is a collector's family, not a trading family. The whole line is one of the cheapest ways into classic Limiteds, and that is both the appeal and the ceiling. The sub-1,000-copy ties are where the scarcity is. Vaiobot's at 97, the Rock N' Roll Necktie at 303, the Skull Tie at 672, the Bacon Tie at 728 and the Lightning Tie at 951 are genuinely thin, and thin supply is what has held these prices up for over a decade. Thin also means slow. If you buy one, plan on holding it, because the exit takes patience. The giveaway ties are floor items. With 2.58 million Tickets Ties, 52,932 Turkey Ties and 30,630 Bat Ties in circulation, none of those three is going to become scarce. They are good avatar pieces and good first Limiteds, and they are not going to multiply. Fees eat small moves. Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee when you resell a classic Limited, so you keep 70% of the sale price. Buy a tie at 6,000 Robux, sell it at 10,000, and you keep 7,000, which is 1,000 Robux of profit on a 67% price rise. You need roughly a 1.43x increase just to break even.
