*The When Animals Attack series is four Roblox Limited hats from 2010 and 2015. See copies, RAP and live asks, led by Tiger Tussle at 64,752 RAP.*

The When Animals Attack series is four Roblox-published Limited hats shaped like animal heads: Gorilla Grievance and Shark Situations from March 2010, then Elephant Aggression and Tiger Tussle from May and June 2015. All four are Limited Unique items, meaning Roblox minted a fixed run of serial-numbered copies and can never add more. They cost 200 or 300 Robux when they were new. Today Tiger Tussle leads the family on RAP at 64,752 R$, and Shark Situations carries the steepest resale floor at 500,000 R$ against only 436 copies in existence.

**Quick answer:** When Animals Attack is a four-hat Roblox Limited series released in 2010 and 2015. Tiger Tussle has the highest RAP at 64,752 R$ across 501 copies, Gorilla Grievance is the rarest at 351 copies, and Shark Situations carries the family's highest asking price at 500,000 R$.

| Hat | Released | Original price | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |

A few terms, since the rest of this piece leans on them. A **Limited** is a catalog item with a capped supply that players can resell to each other. A **Limited Unique** (you will see it written as Limited U) goes one step further and stamps every copy with its own **serial number**, so copy #1 of 436 is a different object from copy #400. **RAP** stands for recent average price: Roblox keeps a smoothed average of an item's whole sale history, and each new sale drags that number one tenth of the way toward the price it sold at. The **lowest ask**, also called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy anyone currently has listed.

## What is the When Animals Attack series on Roblox? Four animal masks Roblox published itself

The line is exactly what the name suggests: wearable animal heads, sold by the Roblox account itself, each with a joke description written like a nature-documentary voiceover. The Roblox Wiki traces the name to the Fox television specials of the same title, which is the kind of 2010 catalog humor that dates the first two hats as well as any timestamp.

Roblox released the family in two bursts separated by more than five years. Gorilla Grievance and Shark Situations both went up in the first half of March 2010. Then nothing, until Elephant Aggression arrived in May 2015 and Tiger Tussle followed a few weeks later. Tiger Tussle closed the line out, and Roblox has not added an animal mask under that banner since.

There's a small puzzle in the series' own paperwork. Shark Situations' catalog description ends with the words "The first in a series," yet Roblox's asset records put Gorilla Grievance online five days earlier. Both facts come straight from Roblox. Whichever one Roblox meant to ship first, the pair arrived close enough together that collectors treat them as one drop.

All four are hats, so they sit alongside the rest of the [classic hat Limiteds](/collections/classic-hats) on this site, and all four are small enough runs to show up in [Limiteds under 1,000 copies](/collections/limiteds-under-1000-copies). If serial numbers are new to you, the [Limited vs Limited U explainer](/articles/limited-vs-limited-u-roblox) and the [serial number guide](/articles/roblox-limited-serial-numbers-explained) cover how they work and when they matter.

## Which When Animals Attack hat is worth the most? Tiger Tussle, at 64,752 RAP

![When Animals Attack: Tiger Tussle](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/258183582?size=420)

Tiger Tussle is the family's price leader and the only member whose floor sits anywhere near its RAP. Its RAP is 64,752 R$ and the cheapest listed copy is 74,499 R$, a gap of about 15%. For an eleven-year-old classic that's a working market: sales happen often enough to keep the average honest, and anyone who wants one can have it today at roughly what the last owners paid.

It sold for 300 R$ in June 2015 with a 501-copy run. A copy bought at launch and sold at today's RAP would be up more than 200 times its original price, which puts it in respectable company among [Roblox's biggest Limited gains since release](/articles/roblox-limiteds-biggest-gains-since-release).

## Why is Shark Situations listed at 500,000 R$ when its RAP is 39,911?

![When Animals Attack : Shark Situations](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/23551803?size=420)

Shark Situations has the widest gap in the series between what it last traded for and what its owners want. RAP sits at 39,911 R$. The cheapest copy on the Marketplace is listed at 500,000 R$, about 12.5 times that.

Two things produce a spread that wide. The first is scarcity of listings. With 436 copies spread across sixteen years of accounts, many of them dormant, only a handful are ever for sale, and the people who hold one are in no hurry. The second is stale RAP. When an item sells once or twice a year, its RAP is mostly a record of what happened in some earlier market, and each new sale only nudges it a tenth of the way toward the new price.

So treat that 500,000 R$ as one seller's opinion. The honest reading is that Shark Situations trades somewhere between the two numbers, and nobody has run the experiment recently. That same dynamic drives [projected items](/articles/projected-items-roblox-limiteds-explained), where a single inflated sale can pull RAP far away from what anyone will actually pay. It also helps explain why Shark Situations has 6,250 favorites, the most in the family: plenty of people want it, very few can get it.

## Elephant Aggression shows what concentrated ownership does to a Limited

![When Animals Attack: Elephant Aggression](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/250394595?size=420)

Elephant Aggression has 500 copies, more than Shark Situations, and a similar RAP at 37,841 R$. Its floor is 250,000 R$, roughly 6.6 times RAP.

The Roblox Wiki records that a single collector accumulated 377 of the 500 copies, which would make this one of the most concentrated classic Limiteds on the platform. That figure is community-documented and undated, so the split today could look different. The market behavior fits it, though. When most of a run sits in one inventory, the number of copies that can actually change hands, what traders call the float, is far smaller than the copy count suggests, and the few sellers left can price as though the item had 100 copies instead of 500. The [hoarding and whales guide](/articles/hoarding-roblox-limiteds-whales) goes deeper on how that plays out, and the [players leaderboard](/players-leaderboard) is where you can see large inventories for yourself.

## Gorilla Grievance is the rarest of the four at 351 copies

![When Animals Attack : Gorilla Grievance](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/23301616?size=420)

Gorilla Grievance has the smallest run in the series, 351 copies, and the lowest RAP, 21,824 R$. Its floor of 43,000 R$ is the cheapest entry into the family by a wide margin.

Rarity and price pull in opposite directions here, which happens more often than new collectors expect. Copy count sets a ceiling on how many people can ever own an item. Demand decides how much of that ceiling gets used. Gorilla Grievance has 3,049 favorites against Shark Situations' 6,250, and that difference in how badly people want the thing shows up in the price far more reliably than the 85-copy difference in supply does. The [favorites and value article](/articles/do-roblox-favorites-affect-limited-value) walks through how much weight that signal deserves.

## Are the UGC When Animals Attack hats part of the series? No, three creators reused the name

Search the catalog today and you'll find three more items carrying the When Animals Attack name. Roblox made none of them. All three are UGC Limiteds, which are community-created items with capped supply, and all three were given away free.

| Hat | Creator | Released | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/108093128520911?size=150) [Greenland Veterans](/item/108093128520911) | Metal's Shed (group) | December 8, 2024 | 55 | 1,211 R$ | 3,636 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/15603525718?size=150) [Penguin Protecting](/item/15603525718) | tsukimoondayo | December 10, 2023 | 260 | 512 R$ | 350 R$ |
| ![](https://img.rbxinvest.com/item/118311282298400?size=150) [Wild Walrus](/item/118311282298400) | MUEE-GCS (group) | July 6, 2025 | 30 | 25 R$ | None listed |

These sit far below the Roblox originals, and the reason is supply plus provenance. Penguin Protecting came out of an in-experience present in December 2023, according to the creator's own item description, and its floor today is 350 R$. Wild Walrus is the odd one. Roblox still shows 14 of its 30 copies unclaimed, so barely anything has ever moved, and there's no resale listing at all right now.

Borrowed names are common enough in the UGC catalog that it's worth knowing how to check. The creator line on the item page is the fastest test, since every classic in this series is published by the Roblox account itself. The [fake Limiteds and name squatting guide](/articles/roblox-fake-limiteds-name-squatting) covers the rest of the checks, and [UGC Limited hats](/collections/ugc-limited-hats) is where the community-made side of the catalog lives.

## Should you buy a When Animals Attack hat? Only Tiger Tussle prices like a real market

Three of the four floors in this family are asks nobody has tested. Tiger Tussle at 74,499 R$ is the one number in the table you could act on today and reasonably expect to be near fair. Shark Situations and Elephant Aggression are priced by holders who don't need to sell, and Gorilla Grievance sits in between at twice its RAP.

If you do sell a classic Limited, remember what reaches your balance. Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee on a classic Limited resale, so the seller keeps 70%. Sell at 100,000 R$ and 70,000 R$ lands in your account. On a family where the spread between RAP and the floor is already this wide, that 30% decides whether patient holding beats selling into a thin market.

These four are tradeable, which matters for a collection this illiquid. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds can be traded, so the classic four qualify and the three UGC lookalikes do not. Trading needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on both sides, and a classic Limited is locked for two days after it arrives by trade or seven days after you buy it on resale. For a lot of collectors, offering a trade is the realistic route into a hat whose seller wants half a million Robux in cash.

Watch the whole family. The [items leaderboard](/items-leaderboard) tracks RAP and floor movement across the catalog, the [deal feed](/deals) flags below-RAP listings as they appear if you are signed in, and the [collections hub](/collections) groups the classics by type, price band and rarity so you can see where 40,000 R$ animal masks sit against everything else.

None of this is financial advice. Limited prices move on demand that can vanish, and a hat with two sales a year can sit unsold for months.

Figures in this article come from RBX Invest catalog data and Roblox's economy API as of September 21, 2026, release dates and original prices from Roblox's own asset records, and the series' origin, the Fox television reference and the Elephant Aggression ownership note from the Roblox Wiki on Fandom.

## FAQ

### What is the When Animals Attack series on Roblox?

When Animals Attack is a series of four Limited hats published by Roblox itself, each one a wearable animal head with a joke description. The members are Gorilla Grievance and Shark Situations from March 2010, and Elephant Aggression and Tiger Tussle from May and June 2015. All four are Limited Unique, so every copy carries a serial number.

### How many When Animals Attack hats are there?

Four, all made by Roblox. Three additional items in the catalog use the same name, but those are UGC Limiteds published by community creators and given away free. Roblox's own series is the four originals.

### Which When Animals Attack hat is worth the most?

Tiger Tussle, with a RAP of 64,752 R$ and 501 copies. Shark Situations has the highest asking price in the family at 500,000 R$, but its RAP is 39,911 R$, so that floor reflects what one seller wants, and the traded price sits lower.

### Which When Animals Attack hat has the fewest copies?

Gorilla Grievance, at 351 copies. It's also the cheapest of the four to buy, with a RAP of 21,824 R$ and a lowest ask of 43,000 R$, a reminder that demand moves price at least as much as copy count does.

### Can you still buy When Animals Attack hats?

Yes, from other players on the Marketplace. Roblox stopped selling all four long ago and the runs are closed, so the only supply is resale copies. As of September 2026 the cheapest available copy in the family is a Gorilla Grievance at 43,000 R$.

### Are When Animals Attack hats tradeable?

Yes. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, and all four originals qualify. Both players need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a classic Limited is held for two days after a trade or seven days after a resale purchase before it can move again.

### Why is Shark Situations listed so far above its RAP?

Because it sells very rarely. With 436 copies scattered across sixteen years of accounts, only a few are ever listed, and RAP moves just one tenth of the way toward each new sale price. That leaves the average reflecting an older market while holders price their copies for today.

### How much did When Animals Attack hats originally cost?

Between 200 and 300 Robux. Shark Situations and Elephant Aggression sold for 200 R$, while Gorilla Grievance and Tiger Tussle sold for 300 R$. Every one of them is now worth tens of thousands of Robux, between about 70 and 220 times its release price.
