Roblox face accessory Limiteds are the shades, masks, goggles and bandanas that sit on your avatar's face, and the valuable ones are a short list. RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026 counts 229 classic face accessory Limiteds and 9,958 UGC Limited ones, yet only 22 of those classics hold a RAP above 100,000 Robux. A Limited is an item released in a fixed number of copies, which owners can then resell to each other. RAP stands for recent average price, Roblox's smoothed average of every sale an item has ever had. The slot's most valuable piece is the Red Bandana of SQL Injection, with a RAP of 5,495,998 R$ across 43 copies.

What counts as a face accessory Limited? Anything Roblox files in the Face category
Roblox sorts every avatar item into a category, and its Marketplace documentation defines the Face category as accessories designed specifically for facial features, meaning the eyes, nose, mouth and ears, including items that enhance, conceal or decorate facial areas. On the market that works out to sunglasses, shutter shades, masks, goggles, bandanas and glowing-eye pieces.
Your avatar's actual face lives in its own category. Those 2D faces and animated heads have a separate market with its own history, covered in our piece on the decline in Roblox face Limited values. Everything below sits on top of the face.
Two kinds of Limited share the slot and behave differently. Classic Limiteds are the ones Roblox published itself, and you can trade them player to player. UGC Limiteds are made by community creators, they launched in April 2023, and they cannot be traded at all, so they change hands only through Marketplace resales.
A few more words before the tables. Copies means the total number ever minted, which never grows. The lowest ask, also called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy an owner currently has listed. A projected item is one whose RAP sits above what buyers will really pay, usually after a handful of deliberate overpays. A gem is a scarce, high-demand Limited that collectors hold for years. Our RAP explainer has the formula if you want it.
Which Roblox face accessory Limited is worth the most? The Red Bandana of SQL Injection
The Red Bandana of SQL Injection is the face slot's most valuable item on both RAP and trader consensus. Roblox's own catalog data shows it published on February 24, 2010 for 707 Robux, marked Limited Unique, which means every copy carries a serial number. Only 43 copies exist. Its RAP reads 5,495,998 R$, and the cheapest listed copy sits at 618,033,988 R$, a joke price that tells you no owner has any interest in selling. The full story is in our Red Bandana of SQL Injection history, and the serial-number mechanic is explained in Limited vs Limited U.
That 618 million ask is worth sitting with for a second, because it repeats all over this slot. Eight of the fourteen items in the table below have a listed floor above a million Robux. When a 43-copy item's only listing is a number nobody will ever pay, the real market has moved into trades, where classic Limiteds change hands without a Robux price being published at all.
Which classic face accessory Limiteds are worth the most? The top 14
The table is ordered by trader consensus street value, what collectors actually pay for a copy. On items this thin a single old sale can leave RAP hundreds of thousands of Robux away from the real number, so the two orders disagree a lot here. RAP, copies and lowest asks are from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026, cross-checked against Roblox's own economy data the same day.
| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 43 | 5,495,998 R$ | 618,033,988 R$ | |
| 88 | 264,264 R$ | 618,033,988 R$ | |
| 31 | 376,064 R$ | 6,767,676 R$ | |
| 51 | 436,289 R$ | 4,444,444 R$ | |
| 1,418 | 1,936,846 R$ | 1,999,393 R$ | |
| 86 | 104,088 R$ | 750,000,000 R$ | |
| 44 | 272,833 R$ | None listed | |
| 73 | 211,441 R$ | 1,049,999 R$ | |
| 68 | 403,338 R$ | 2,300,000 R$ | |
| 146 | 275,295 R$ | 1,000,000 R$ | |
| 94 | 374,869 R$ | 950,000 R$ | |
| 93 | 104,947 R$ | 800,000 R$ | |
| 283 | 465,503 R$ | 690,000 R$ | |
| 501 | 281,837 R$ | 400,460 R$ |
One item sits outside that ranking on purpose. Creativity Glasses carries a RAP of 285,463 R$ across 195 copies and was free at launch in February 2022, which would place it mid-table on RAP alone, but no settled trader consensus figure exists for it yet. Treat its RAP as the only number you have.
Two names from just below the cut: NVG360 Hawkeyes at a 107,064 R$ RAP with 234 copies, and Classicx89's Stylin' Intern Shades at 239,250 R$ with 458 copies. Both launched in 2009 and, like the Gaze of Socom1880 and the Dread Visage of xMaximusx, carry the names of early Roblox accounts. Our piece on admin-exclusive Roblox Limiteds covers that corner of the catalog.
Why do shades carry most of the face slot's value?
Count the table again and at least eight of the fourteen spots belong to sunglasses or spectacles. Shades won this slot for a simple reason: they read clearly at any camera distance, they fit every avatar build, and the oldest ones arrived when Roblox was selling a fraction of the items it sells now.
Clockwork's Shades is the clearest case. Roblox published it on June 13, 2009 for 19,358 Robux, a wild price for 2009, and 1,418 copies exist. Our data shows 99,904 favorites on it, the kind of recognition that keeps a market liquid. With over a thousand copies it actually trades, which is rare at this value level, and its RAP of 1,936,846 R$ sits a little above where consensus puts it. The Clockwork series history tracks the whole line, and the recolored Bombastic Clockwork Shades from 2015 has its own story in the Bombastic series history.
The rest of the eyewear money splits into recognizable lines. The three Real Stunnas, each sold at 20,000 Robux in their launch years, are covered in the Stunna Shades series history. The shutter-shade family, including Blue Sparkle Time Shutter Shades at a 151,030 R$ RAP, runs through the Shutter Shades series history, and Roblox's fashion glasses are in the Designer Shades series history. The goggles line has the Vision Goggles series history.
Where RAP gets the face slot wrong: Tasteless Shades and Steampunkoneer
Tasteless Shades is the best lesson in this slot. Roblox sold it on August 20, 2010 for 10 Robux. Ten. There are 88 copies, its RAP reads 264,264 R$, and trader consensus ranks it second in the entire slot, above items whose RAP is seven times higher. The Tasteless series history covers the line.
Steampunkoneer does the same thing from a lower base. It launched on November 25, 2010 for 100 Robux, 86 copies exist, and its RAP sits at 104,088 R$ while consensus puts it in the same tier as Clockwork's Shades. Both gaps come from the same mechanic: RAP only moves when a copy sells through the Marketplace, and on an 86-copy item that might happen once a year. Meanwhile the item keeps appreciating inside trades that RAP never sees.
The error runs the other way too. Night Vision Goggles carries the third-highest RAP in the slot at 522,524 R$, and consensus ranks it well below several items with a fifth of that RAP. When a few buyers overpay on a thin item, RAP drifts up and stays there, which is the definition of a projected item. Before you pay a face accessory's RAP, check how recently it actually sold.
What is the oldest face accessory Limited? Night Vision Goggles, free in December 2007
Night Vision Goggles is the oldest face accessory Limited in our catalog, published on December 21, 2007, and Roblox's own economy data lists its original price as 0 Robux. It was free. There are 291 copies, 17,369 favorites, a RAP of 522,524 R$ and a lowest ask of 1,499,990 R$. Its catalog description still blames a fictional break-in at another user's lab, which is the 2007 catalog's tone in one line.
Cheap launches turning into six-figure Limiteds is a pattern worth knowing. Several of the slot's best performers cost almost nothing on day one: Tasteless Shades at 10 Robux, Arctic Commando at 30 Robux in November 2010, Steampunkoneer at 100. Scarcity plus 15 years did the rest, and the Commando line is in the Commando series history.
Are UGC face accessory Limiteds worth anything? Almost none of them
The UGC side of the slot is 9,958 items with a median RAP of 92 Robux, and 5,925 of them sit under 100 RAP. Forty reach 10,000 R$ or more, and exactly two clear 100,000. That is the whole picture: a very large pile of near-worthless items with a handful of exceptions. The table below is ordered by RAP, because trader consensus figures do not exist for most UGC items.
| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 175,000 R$ | None listed | |
| 1 | 120,000 R$ | None listed | |
| 1 | 55,555 R$ | 9,999,999,999 R$ | |
| 199 | 26,276 R$ | 20,000 R$ | |
| 2 | 24,359 R$ | 37,500 R$ |
Look at the copy counts. Three of those five have a single copy, and 2,049 of the slot's UGC Limiteds are one-copy items. A creator can publish one copy, price it at whatever they like, and that first sale sets a RAP that looks enormous next to a market where nothing trades. Our guide to one-copy UGC Limiteds explains why those numbers are close to meaningless for a buyer.
The honest UGC example in that table is the gingerbread cookie, published in December 2024 at 999 Robux with 199 copies, now at a 26,276 R$ RAP with a copy listed at 20,000. A real run, real resales, and a floor you could buy at today. Browse the rest on the UGC Limited face accessories collection, and if you like the mask end of the slot specifically, the masks collection mixes both kinds.
What does it cost to launch or resell a face accessory Limited?
Creators pay first. Roblox's marketplace fee documentation puts the publishing advance for a paid Limited in the Face category at 13,000 Robux, against 1,500 for a non-limited face accessory, plus an upload fee of 80 Robux per submission, or 500 if the item uses an emissive mask. The advance is rebated back out of sales as the item sells, so it behaves like a deposit on a run that actually sells out.
Resellers pay on the way out, and the split depends on which kind of Limited you hold.
| You resell | You keep | Break-even |
|---|---|---|
| A classic face accessory Limited | 70%, after Roblox's 30% marketplace fee | About 1.43x your cost |
| A UGC Limited face accessory | 50% | 2x your cost |
Roblox's documentation sets the UGC resale split at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox. So a UGC face accessory bought at 10,000 Robux has to resell at 20,000 before you have made a single Robux. That math kills most flips in this slot by itself.
Three more rules shape the slot. Selling a Limited needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on the seller's account, while the buyer of a resale needs nothing. Roblox's documentation states that after purchasing a Limited there is up to a 30 day holding period before it can be resold, and for classic Limiteds a resale purchase holds for 7 days while a trade holds for 2. Roblox's documentation also notes that reselling community-created Limiteds is unavailable for accounts based in Japan.
None of this is financial advice. These are virtual items with thin markets, prices can fall as fast as they rose, and the 86-copy item you love may take a year to find a buyer.
How to track the face slot on RBX Invest
Start with the classic face accessories collection for the live ranking, and the most expensive Limiteds collection to see where the slot's gems sit against hats and gear. The items leaderboard ranks everything by RAP and growth, the Deals feed flags items listed below RAP right now and needs a signed-in account, and the reseller dashboard prices the copies you own. For comparison, read the sibling guide to back accessory Limiteds.

FAQ
What is a face accessory Limited on Roblox?
It is a Limited item that Roblox files in the Face category, meaning an accessory worn over the eyes, nose, mouth or ears. Shades, masks, goggles, bandanas and glowing-eye pieces all count. Your avatar's 2D face and animated heads are a separate category with a separate market.
What is the most valuable Roblox face accessory Limited?
The Red Bandana of SQL Injection, with a RAP of 5,495,998 Robux across 43 copies. It launched on February 24, 2010 for 707 Robux as a Limited Unique, so every copy carries a serial number, and trader consensus ranks it first in the slot as well.
What was the first face accessory Limited?
Night Vision Goggles, published on December 21, 2007, is the oldest in our catalog. Roblox's economy data lists its original price as 0 Robux, so it was free at launch, and 291 copies exist against a RAP of 522,524 Robux today.
Why is a face accessory's lowest ask so much higher than its RAP?
Because nobody holding one wants to sell. On a 40 to 90 copy item, owners often park a listing at an absurd number like 618,033,988 Robux so the item shows as listed without being for sale in any real sense. The genuine market for classic Limiteds that scarce happens in trades, which never publish a price.
Are UGC face accessory Limiteds a good investment?
Most are not. The median UGC face accessory Limited has a RAP of 92 Robux, 5,925 of the 9,958 sit under 100 RAP, and 2,049 have a single copy whose RAP was set by one self-chosen sale. The exceptions are small runs from known creators that keep selling after launch, like the 199-copy gingerbread cookie at a 26,276 Robux RAP.
How much do you keep when you resell a face accessory Limited?
You keep 70% on a classic one, since Roblox's marketplace fee is 30%, so you need about 1.43x your cost to break even. You keep 50% on a UGC Limited, where Roblox's documentation splits a resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so a UGC resale has to double your price to break even.
Can you trade face accessory Limiteds?
Classic face accessory Limiteds can be traded, with an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts and a 2-day hold after the trade completes. UGC Limited face accessories cannot be traded at all and move only through Marketplace resales.
Why do shades make up most of the slot's value?
They read clearly from any camera angle, they suit almost every avatar, and the expensive ones are old. At least eight of the fourteen most valuable classic face accessories are sunglasses or spectacles, led by Clockwork's Shades from June 2009, which has 1,418 copies and 99,904 favorites in our data.
