What does an item search result show?
Item search matches your text anywhere inside the item name, so a fragment finds the item, and deleted items are excluded. Each row carries the thumbnail, the name, the asset ID printed beneath it, RAP (Recent Average Price) in Robux, and the total quantity in circulation. Clicking a row opens that item's page; the name is a real link, so it can be middle-clicked or reached by keyboard. Results refresh about 300 milliseconds after you stop typing, so the Search button is optional.
How do I look up a Roblox player by username or ID?
Switch the type toggle to Players and enter a username or a numeric ID. Text queries match any username containing that string. A plain number is matched two ways: against the Roblox user ID, and against usernames containing those digits. Every row shows the avatar thumbnail, the username, and the Roblox ID, and links through to that player's portfolio page. Accounts whose Roblox ID is zero are held out.
How are results paged and sorted?
Page size is 10, 20, 50, or 100 rows, starting at 20, and changing it returns you to page one. The result total is a Postgres estimate, printed with a leading tilde, not an exact figure. Neither query applies a sort, and no sort control exists here, so ranked views live elsewhere: the items leaderboard orders Limiteds, and the players leaderboard orders portfolios. The search term, the mode, and any page past the first are written into the URL, so a set of results survives a refresh and can be shared.
