Roblox has been turning old gift card exclusives into Classic Limiteds, and twelve of them crossed over between August 13 and October 6, 2026. A Classic Limited is a Roblox-made item with a frozen supply that owners are allowed to resell and trade. Every one of these twelve was free the first time around, handed out when somebody redeemed a Roblox gift card, and all twelve now have live resale prices. The priciest is the Brilliant Unicorn Horn, which came with Best Buy cards in June 2024 and has a cheapest listing of 26,500 R$ against 24,383 copies in existence. The cheapest is the Solar System Aura at 700 R$, because 1,591,273 accounts own one.
Quick answer: Twelve Roblox gift card items went Limited in four batches, on August 13, August 28, September 22 and October 6, 2026. Roblox writes the conversion date straight into each item's catalog description, and prices now run from 700 R$ to 26,500 R$ depending on how many copies the original card run created.
| Item | Original gift card run | Went Limited | Copies | RAP (R$) | Lowest ask (R$) |

Copies is the total number in existence across every account. RAP stands for Recent Average Price, the smoothed average Roblox recalculates after every sale. Lowest ask is the cheapest copy somebody has listed right now.
Which Roblox gift card items went Limited in 2026? Twelve, in four batches
Roblox worked through them in groups, every two to four weeks:
- August 13, 2026: Solar System Aura, Quadri-Skull Aura, Verdant Crown. All three came from "select retailers" card runs in 2023 and 2024, and all three have over a million copies.
- August 28, 2026: Molten Lava Wings, Flaming Pink Horned Helmet, Atomic Blue Hairdo, Blue Inferno Skull. This batch came from single-chain promotions, so the supplies are much smaller.
- September 22, 2026: Extraterrestrial Shades and the Striking White Owl Shoulder Pet.
- October 6, 2026: Pumpkin Warrior Helmet, Manly Bee Hat, Brilliant Unicorn Horn.
Each one was a free bonus attached to a gift card, so nobody paid Robux for the copies that exist. The supply was fixed years ago by how many people redeemed a card in that month at that chain, and going Limited just unlocked the resale market on top of a supply that had already stopped growing. If you want the mechanics of how an offsale item becomes tradeable, we cover that in offsale Roblox items going limited.
How can you tell if a Roblox item went Limited? Roblox writes the date in the description
Open the item's page in the Roblox catalog and read the description. Roblox appended a sentence to all twelve of these when it converted them, so the Manly Bee Hat's description now ends with "This item went limited on October 6th 2026." The same line sits in the descriptions of the Verdant Crown, the Brilliant Unicorn Horn and the rest of the twelve. That sentence is the cleanest proof there is, and it comes straight from Roblox.
Two other signals confirm it. A resale price appears on the item's page, and the item starts showing up on the items leaderboard with a RAP attached. So if you claimed one of these free with a card in 2024, it is now a sellable Limited sitting in your inventory.
Why is a 24,000-copy horn worth more than a 1.6 million-copy aura? The retailer set the supply
The description tells you roughly what the supply will be before you look at a copy count. Items from "select retailers" went out on cards across many chains at once, and those are the ones with 1.2 to 1.6 million copies. Items tied to one chain had a much smaller pool of people redeeming them.
The Brilliant Unicorn Horn was a Best Buy exclusive for a single month, and 24,383 copies exist. It trades around a 25,023 R$ RAP. The Blue Inferno Skull went out on 7-Eleven cards in Japan or Hong Kong, a similarly narrow pool, and its 24,601 copies carry a 22,225 R$ RAP. Compare that to the Solar System Aura, from a broad March 2024 run, where 1,591,273 copies leave it at 667 R$.
The horn is worth about 37 times the aura, and the gap comes down to how many stores carried the card. The pattern is useful going forward: when you see a card item with one chain named in its description, treat it as the scarce kind.
Supply at this scale still caps what these items can do. A Limited with this many copies always has sellers, so the cheapest listing sits within 16% of RAP on every item in this group, and inside 6% on more than half of them. For the items that have stayed cheap for years in bulk, see which Roblox Limited has the most copies.
Do these items hold their value after going Limited? Ten of the twelve are down
This is the part worth studying before you buy one. The table below compares the average price copies sold for on conversion day against the average on October 19, 2026, using our own price history.
| Item | Conversion-day average (R$) | Oct 19 average (R$) | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,410 | 738 | down 69% | |
| 15,824 | 5,177 | down 67% | |
| 9,377 | 3,626 | down 61% | |
| 4,734 | 1,899 | down 60% | |
| 4,515 | 1,905 | down 58% | |
| 4,308 | 1,995 | down 54% | |
| 6,413 | 3,019 | down 53% | |
| 4,041 | 2,029 | down 50% | |
| 40,093 | 22,142 | down 45% | |
| 1,828 | 1,159 | down 37% | |
| 21,190 | 24,120 | up 14% | |
| 1,211 | 1,865 | up 54% |
Ten of the twelve sell for less now than they did on the day their market opened. Seven have lost more than half their value, and an eighth is down almost exactly half. The two that rose both opened at a low conversion-day average and climbed from there.
The mechanics behind that are simple. On day one almost nobody has listed a copy yet, while every player who wants the item is looking at the same short list of sellers. The Verdant Crown took 686 sales on August 13 at an average of 6,413 R$. Then the other million owners noticed, listings piled up, and the price walked down to around 3,000 R$ over nine weeks. Volume stayed high the whole way: the Extraterrestrial Shades alone took 5,249 sales in the last 30 days, so these are easy items to get out of.
So the practical lesson from these twelve is to wait. Buying a freshly converted gift card item on its first day has been the worst entry point every time except twice, and in both exceptions the day-one price was already low. If you want to watch for the drift instead of guessing, the Deals feed lists copies priced under their RAP and needs a signed-in account.
None of this is financial advice. These twelve items have ten weeks of price history at most, so treat the pattern as a tendency. Tendencies break.
What happened to the Pumpkin Warrior Helmet? It fell 69% in two weeks
The Pumpkin Warrior Helmet is the sharpest example in the group. Roblox gave it away with Walmart or ASDA cards in October 2021, which makes it the oldest card run of the twelve, and it went Limited on October 6, 2026.
Copies sold at an average of 2,410 R$ that first day. By October 19 the average was 738 R$, and its RAP sits at 794 R$ with the cheapest listing at 869 R$. A Halloween helmet converting in the first week of October looked like good timing, and 226,891 copies turned out to matter more than the season did.
It is also the cheapest way into this group. A Halloween-themed Limited with real sales behind it for under a thousand Robux is unusual, and the Limiteds under 1,000 Robux collection shows what else trades in that band.
Are the converted gift card items serialized? Eight of the twelve are
Roblox's catalog data marks eight of these twelve as Limited Unique, the format where every copy carries its own printed number out of the total. The Manly Bee Hat, Brilliant Unicorn Horn, Pumpkin Warrior Helmet, Striking White Owl Shoulder Pet, Extraterrestrial Shades, Verdant Crown, Quadri-Skull Aura and Solar System Aura all carry serials. The four from the August 28 batch, the Flaming Pink Horned Helmet, Atomic Blue Hairdo, Blue Inferno Skull and Molten Lava Wings, are plain Limiteds with no serial attached.
Collectors pay extra for low serials, especially single digits, but on an item with 140,083 copies a mid-range number adds nothing. We go deeper in our guides to Roblox Limited serial numbers and the difference between Limited and Limited U.
What does it cost to sell one? Roblox takes 30% of a classic Limited resale
Selling one of these works like selling any Roblox-made Limited. Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee when a classic Limited resells, so the seller keeps 70%. Sell a copy for 2,000 R$ and about 1,400 R$ lands in your account. Roblox publishes the full fee and commission rules in its marketplace documentation.
Three other rules shape what you can do:
- You need Roblox Plus to sell or trade. Roblox Plus costs $4.99 a month and is the subscription that opens reselling, trading and Marketplace publishing. The buyer of a resale needs no subscription, so you can pick one of these up with a plain account and only pay for Plus when you want to sell.
- Holding periods apply. Buy a copy on the resale market and Roblox locks it for up to 7 days before you can list it again. A copy that arrives through a trade is locked for 2 days. Our holding periods guide has the full set.
- These are tradeable. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds can be traded, and every item here is Roblox-made, so all twelve can go into a player-to-player trade. Both accounts in the trade need active Roblox Plus.
Which gift card items could go Limited next? Roblox gives no warning
Roblox has never announced a schedule for these conversions. The pattern so far is small batches every couple of weeks, working through card runs from 2021 to 2024, which leaves plenty of card exclusives from that era sitting offsale in millions of inventories.
Betting on a specific item is guesswork, and an unconverted card item has no resale market, so there is nothing to buy in advance. What you can do is check the items you already own. Our guide to Roblox gift card items covers how the monthly card rotation worked and which retailers ran the narrower promotions, and the classic hats collection tracks every Roblox-made hat Limited with live prices as new ones arrive.
FAQ
Which Roblox gift card items went Limited in 2026?
Twelve, in four batches: the Solar System Aura, Quadri-Skull Aura and Verdant Crown on August 13; the Molten Lava Wings, Flaming Pink Horned Helmet, Atomic Blue Hairdo and Blue Inferno Skull on August 28; the Extraterrestrial Shades and Striking White Owl Shoulder Pet on September 22; and the Pumpkin Warrior Helmet, Manly Bee Hat and Brilliant Unicorn Horn on October 6.
How do I know if my Roblox gift card item is now Limited?
Read the item's catalog description. Roblox adds a line reading "This item went limited on" plus the date when it converts one. A live resale price on the item's page and a RAP figure on the items leaderboard confirm it.
Which converted gift card item is worth the most?
The Brilliant Unicorn Horn, at a 25,023 R$ RAP with a cheapest listing of 26,500 R$. The Blue Inferno Skull is close behind at a 22,225 R$ RAP. Both came from single-chain card promotions, which is why only around 24,000 copies of each exist.
Can you trade the converted gift card Limiteds?
Yes. All twelve were made by Roblox, and Roblox-created Limiteds are the only items its Trade system accepts. Both sides of the trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a copy received in a trade is held for 2 days before it can move again.
Do gift card Limiteds go up in value after converting?
Mostly they have gone down. Ten of the twelve sell for less now than on their conversion day, and eight are down by half or close to it. The Extraterrestrial Shades and Brilliant Unicorn Horn are the two exceptions, up 54% and 14% from their first-day averages.
Why are some of these worth 700 R$ and others 25,000 R$?
Supply, set years ago by the size of the card promotion. A run across many retailers put over a million copies into circulation, and those items trade between 667 and 3,070 R$. A single-chain run like Best Buy or 7-Eleven created about 24,000 copies, and those trade above 22,000 R$.
How much Robux do I keep if I sell one?
70% of the sale price. Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee on a classic Limited resale, so a 2,000 R$ sale returns about 1,400 R$. You also need an active Roblox Plus subscription on the selling account, and copies bought on the resale market are held for up to 7 days first.
Do the converted gift card items have serial numbers?
Eight of the twelve do. Roblox's catalog data lists the Solar System Aura, Quadri-Skull Aura, Verdant Crown, Extraterrestrial Shades, Striking White Owl Shoulder Pet, Pumpkin Warrior Helmet, Manly Bee Hat and Brilliant Unicorn Horn as Limited Unique, which means every copy carries a number. The four items from the August 28 batch do not.
Conversion dates, gift card origins, copy counts and lowest asks come from Roblox's own catalog and economy data for each item, read on October 20, 2026; RAP, conversion-day averages and the October 19 sale averages come from RBX Invest price history as of October 20, 2026; fee rules come from Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions documentation.
