At its heart stood the Shadow Warden, who had imprisoned the spirits of the sunflowers. After a fierce clash, light triumphed over shadow, and the spirits were freed. As a gift, they offered the traveler the Crown of the Sunbound — a sacred circlet woven with sunlight and vine, said to shield the worthy and awaken the warmth of the eternal sun within.
