Roblox Ranged Gear Limiteds: Every Blaster and Bow

Roblox ranged gear Limiteds are 29 classic blasters, bows and cannons. Captain's Flintlock leads at a 66,340 R$ RAP with 373 copies left.

Roblox ranged gear Limiteds are the guns, blasters, cannons, crossbows and bows that Roblox sold as usable equipment before it stopped making gear, and 29 of them still have a live resale market. The most valuable is Captain's Flintlock, a pirate pistol from October 2009 that cost 600 Robux new and now carries a RAP of 66,340 R$ across 373 copies. RAP stands for Recent Average Price, the slow-moving average sale price Roblox prints on every Limited's page. A Limited is an item Roblox no longer sells, with a fixed number of copies that players resell to each other. Every one that Roblox sold for Robux now trades above its old catalog price, and the median RAP across the group sits at 7,425 R$.

Quick answer: Roblox ranged gear Limiteds are 29 discontinued gear items that shoot, led by Captain's Flintlock at a 66,340 R$ RAP with 373 copies. Six of the 29 have fewer than 500 copies, and the cheapest live listing in the group is the Candy Cane Bow at 1,600 R$.

What counts as a ranged gear Limited on Roblox? Gear that fires a projectile

Gear is Roblox's old category of usable equipment. It never sits on your avatar. It drops into your backpack, the item bar along the bottom of the screen, when you join an experience whose owner has switched gear on, and you click to fire it. Our wider guide to Roblox gear Limiteds covers the whole category, including why creators can no longer publish gear at all.

This article covers the shooting half of that category: pistols, laser guns, blasters, cannons, rocket launchers, crossbows and bows. Thrown gear like ninja stars, bombs and pies sits outside the list, and so do the swords, axes, staffs and wands, which have their own families and their own articles.

Three numbers follow each item below. Copies is the total number that exist. RAP is that smoothed average sale price. The lowest ask is the cheapest copy a reseller has listed right now, which can sit well above or below RAP.

Why is Captain's Flintlock the most valuable ranged gear Limited? 373 copies from 2009

Captain's Flintlock

Captain's Flintlock went up on October 24, 2009 at 600 Robux, and its catalog description still reads like a joke about pirates swapping each other's guns in their sleep. Roblox sold it as a Limited U, short for Limited Unique: fixed stock from day one, and every copy carries a serial number, the position in the mint order that Roblox stamps on it. We explain the difference in Limited vs Limited U. Only 373 copies exist today.

The RAP works out to about 110 times the launch price, and the cheapest listing sits at 78,111 R$, above that average. Age does a lot of the work here. The 2009 gear items were bought by a tiny player base, so the surviving copies are spread across a handful of old collectors who rarely sell. Scarcity plus a famous year does most of the pricing here, the same force at work at the top of the most expensive Limiteds.

Which ranged gear Limited has the most copies? The Hyperlaser Gun, with 31,842

Hyperlaser Gun

The Hyperlaser Gun is the outlier of the group. Roblox put it on sale on September 19, 2013 at 650 Robux and left it there for roughly 17 months, according to the Roblox Wiki's record of the Hyperlaser Gun, which dates its move to Limited to February 15, 2015. By then 31,842 copies were out, almost half of the 66,189 copies in this entire group.

That supply keeps the price low and the market busy. A RAP of 3,841 R$ and a lowest ask of 4,150 R$ make it the easiest ranged gear to buy and the easiest to sell. Collectors remember it as the one-hit-kill blaster that turned free-for-all gear games into chaos, enough that some of those games banned it. Players kept that reputation alive; Roblox never documented it.

Its 59,854 favorites are also the highest in the group by a wide margin, which tells you how many players handled it back when gear still worked in popular places. Favorites count how many players tapped the heart on an item page, and the link between that number and price is loose, which we dig into in do favorites affect a Limited's value.

Why are copy counts lower than the launch stock? Supply only shrinks

Emerald Scatterblaster 2000

The Emerald Scatterblaster 2000 went on sale on February 26, 2010 with a stock of 250 copies, per the Roblox Wiki's entry for the Emerald Scatterblaster 2000. Our catalog counts 215 today. Granny's Crossbow launched with 300 and shows 284. The Telamax XR71 Shoulder Cannon had 2,000 and shows 1,979.

Roblox does not publish a ledger explaining those gaps, and the stock figures above come from the Roblox Wiki while the copy counts come from Roblox's live item data. One known drain is account termination: copies stay locked inside a banned account and stop circulating, which we walk through in what happens to your Limiteds if you get banned. Across 15 years that adds up, and the pool of copies that can actually change hands only gets smaller, because nobody can mint a new gear item.

The Scatterblaster is also a reminder that some gear no longer works properly. Its pellets reportedly only fire toward one point on the map now, another piece of community lore about an item Roblox has not touched in years.

Where did the scarcest ones come from? Contests and holiday sales

Nuclear Winter Icicle Gun

The Nuclear Winter Icicle Gun was never sold. Its catalog description reads "Your February 2010 Winter Contest entry was so hot, it was radioactive!", and it went out as a prize to contest winners, so the table above lists it as a contest prize. Just 308 copies exist, and the cheapest listed copy right now is priced at 111,111 R$, nearly eight times its RAP. Prize items behave like that. Owners who earned one are rarely in a hurry.

Holiday sales produced the other interesting supply stories:

  • The Amerilaser Blaster was a 2013 Memorial Day sale item on an America-themed blaster, capped at 1,776 copies.
  • Tri-Laser 333 sold normally from December 2013 and went Limited during the Presidents' Day 2014 sale, which is how a 700 Robux gear ended up with 2,952 copies and the second-highest RAP here.
  • The Candy Cane Bow went up in December 2016 with 10,000 copies on a 15-day timer, according to the Roblox Wiki, and 5,171 sold before time ran out. Unsold stock vanishes with the timer, so the rest were never minted.

Two members also belong to bigger families. The Korblox Krossbow is part of the Korblox line, tracked in full on the Korblox collection and in the Korblox series history, and the Overseer Crossbow belongs to the set covered in the Overseer series history.

What drives prices for gear you cannot use? Scarcity and a thin order book

Nobody equips these in a hangout game. Gear only loads where an experience owner has allowed it, and most never did, so the value sits entirely in owning the item. That has two practical effects.

The first is wide spreads. On 21 of the 29, the cheapest ask is above RAP, sometimes by multiples, because a seller with the only listed copy can ask whatever they like. Our explainer on why Limited prices sit above RAP covers how to read that gap. The other eight list below RAP today, which is the kind of mismatch the Deals feed is built to surface for signed-in accounts.

The second is slow turnover. A gear Limited with 300 copies might go weeks between sales, so one high sale drags the RAP up and the next normal sale drags it back. Check the sales history on an item page before you trust a single number, and screen the whole category on the items leaderboard before you decide what a fair price looks like.

Fees decide whether a flip is even worth trying. When you resell a classic Limited, Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee and you keep 70%, so a 10,000 R$ sale pays you 7,000 R$ and you need roughly 1.43 times your cost just to break even. Timing matters too: buy a classic Limited from a reseller and you wait 7 days before you can list it again, and a copy received in a trade is locked for 2 days. Trading a classic Limited also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts, and reselling one requires it on the seller's side.

None of this is financial advice. These are collectibles with thin markets, and a price that has not moved in months can move hard in either direction.

Collector's outlook: what to watch in this family

The low-copy end is where the family's story is going. Six items sit under 500 copies: Emerald Scatterblaster 2000, Granny's Crossbow, Nuclear Winter Icicle Gun, Captain's Flintlock, Festive Artemis Bow and Spam Cannon. Supply there only shrinks, and no new gear is coming, because Roblox's Marketplace fees documentation lists the asset types a creator may publish and gear is not among them.

For a first purchase, the Hyperlaser Gun and the Candy Cane Bow are the liquid picks, with asks near RAP and plenty of copies in circulation. The 2009 and 2010 items are the collector buys, with the understanding that selling one may take a while and that you are paying a premium for an item with no in-game use. If you want to shop the whole price band, Limiteds under 10,000 R$ holds most of this list.

Data in this article comes from the RBX Invest catalog as of October 6, 2026, cross-checked against Roblox's own item details, with release and stock details from the Roblox Wiki and the item types Roblox allows from Roblox's Marketplace documentation at create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace.

FAQ

What is the most valuable Roblox ranged gear Limited?

Captain's Flintlock, a pistol released on October 24, 2009 for 600 Robux. It has a RAP of 66,340 R$ across 373 copies, and the cheapest listing sits at 78,111 R$.

How many ranged gear Limiteds does Roblox have?

RBX Invest tracks 29 Roblox-made ranged gear Limiteds with a live resale market, covering guns, blasters, cannons, launchers, crossbows and bows released between October 2009 and April 2018. Together they account for 66,189 copies.

Can you still use gear in Roblox experiences?

Only in experiences whose owner has turned gear on, and most never did. Gear loads into your backpack, the item bar at the bottom of the screen, so it never shows on your avatar. In the great majority of places you visit, a gear Limited simply sits in your inventory.

Which ranged gear Limited is the cheapest?

The Candy Cane Bow, at a lowest ask of 1,600 R$ and a RAP of 1,755 R$. Keith's Vengeance Launcher at 3,422 R$ and the Candy Cane Launcher at 3,995 R$ are the next cheapest listings in the group.

Why does the Hyperlaser Gun have so many copies?

Roblox sold it openly from September 19, 2013 until it went Limited in February 2015, so buyers had around 17 months to pick one up. That left 31,842 copies, almost half the copies in this whole family, and it keeps the price near 4,000 R$ while scarcer gear from 2009 trades in the tens of thousands.

Do Roblox gear Limiteds still gain value?

Every one that Roblox sold for Robux trades above its old catalog price today, and the median RAP in the group is 7,425 R$. Gains are not guaranteed from here, though. Supply shrinks slowly as accounts are terminated, demand comes from a small pool of collectors, and sales can be months apart.

How much do you keep when you sell a classic gear Limited?

You keep 70% of the sale price, because Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee on classic Limited resales. A 10,000 R$ sale pays out 7,000 R$, which means you need to sell for about 1.43 times what you paid to break even. Reselling also needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on the selling account.

Can creators make new gear Limiteds?

No. Roblox's Marketplace documentation sets out the asset types a creator can publish, and gear is not among them, so every gear Limited in circulation was published by Roblox itself. The newest one with a live market here is the Orinthian Crossbow from April 6, 2018.
