Roblox released 258 Limiteds in 2013, and together they hold 40,358,335 Robux of combined RAP today. A Limited is an item Roblox stopped selling once a fixed number of copies had gone out, which is what lets owners resell and trade those copies afterwards. RAP, short for recent average price, is Roblox's smoothed running average of an item's whole sale history. The year's highest RAP belongs to the Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora, which went on sale 21 June 2013 at 50,000 Robux with 100 copies and now sits at 11,328,842 R$.
Quick answer: Roblox's 2013 Limiteds number 258 items holding 40,358,335 Robux of combined RAP. 2013 is the year Roblox stopped making tiny print runs: the smallest 2013 run is the 25-copy Duke of the Federation, while 2012 shipped 22 separate items with 10 copies or fewer. The median 2013 Limited minted 1,500 copies and carries a 5,428 R$ RAP, the lowest median of any year from 2007 to 2016.

What were Roblox's 2013 Limiteds? 258 items, every one made by Roblox
Every 2013 Limited lists Roblox as its creator. Community-made Limiteds didn't arrive until April 2023, so the whole year is what traders call classic Limiteds, and Roblox's marketplace documentation still states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. Any 2013 hat you buy today can go into a player-to-player trade.
Value piled up in three months. June, July and December together account for 28,375,138 R$ of the year's RAP, about 70% of the total, because each of those months produced one of the year's monsters: the Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora in June, the Blackvalk in July, and the Dominus Aureus in December. September, by contrast, produced seven Limiteds worth 123,530 R$ between them.
The middle of the year is cheap. 160 of the 258 sit below a 10,000 R$ RAP and 28 sit below 1,000 R$. You can browse the era on the classic hats collection and the affordable end on the Limiteds under 1,000 Robux collection.
Why does 2013 have no tiny-print Roblox Limiteds? The smallest run was 25 copies
This is the single most useful thing to know about the year. 2013 contains zero Limiteds with 10 copies or fewer, and only 11 with 100 copies or fewer. The year before it produced 22 items in the 10-copies-or-fewer bracket. Roblox simply stopped minting the single-digit runs that made 2010 and 2012 famous among collectors.
What replaced them were much larger runs. The median 2013 print run is 1,500 copies against 966 in 2012, 177 items went out with at least 1,000 copies, 40 cleared 10,000 copies, and 14 passed 100,000. The Business Cat alone minted 647,025 copies.
For a collector that shapes the whole year. The scarce end of 2013 is thin enough to matter, so the 25-copy, 48-copy and 50-copy items carry real premiums, but there is no 2013 equivalent of a one-copy or five-copy print. Live rankings for the scarce side sit on the under 100 copies collection and the rarest Limiteds collection.
Which 2013 Roblox Limiteds are worth the most?
This table is ordered by trader consensus value, the price experienced traders would actually expect to pay, because on thin markets RAP falls behind badly. Lowest ask means the cheapest price a copy is listed at right now.
| Item | Released | Copies | Launch price | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 21 Jun 2013 | 100 | 50,000 R$ | 11,328,842 R$ | 6,868,686,868 R$ | |
| 30 Aug 2013 | 25 | 100,000 R$ | 3,469,832 R$ | 100,000,000 R$ | |
| 31 Jul 2013 | 267 | Free | 7,733,715 R$ | 49,999,999 R$ | |
| 18 Dec 2013 | 302 | Free | 7,620,311 R$ | 8,884,000 R$ | |
| 1 Mar 2013 | 100 | 60,000 R$ | 1,214,328 R$ | 8,000,000 R$ | |
| 2 Aug 2013 | 100 | 47,324 R$ | 798,084 R$ | 4,444,444 R$ | |
| 1 Mar 2013 | 125 | 2,000 R$ | 1,144,443 R$ | 3,000,000 R$ | |
| 31 Dec 2013 | 65 | Free | 194,157 R$ | 613,311,337 R$ | |
| 29 Apr 2013 | 48 | Free | 231,920 R$ | 5,000,000 R$ | |
| 28 Nov 2013 | 55 | 50,000 R$ | 167,620 R$ | None listed | |
| 31 Jul 2013 | 50 | 50,000 R$ | 162,835 R$ | 618,033,988,024 R$ | |
| 15 Nov 2013 | 148 | 9,001 R$ | 828,559 R$ | 1,888,888 R$ |
Several of those asks are placeholders. A holder who has no intention of selling can still keep a copy listed at a silly number, and the 618 billion Robux on the Chronoinitium is that kind of listing. Treat any ask hundreds of times above RAP as a sign nobody is really selling.
The ordering also tells you where RAP lies. Several items in that table rank above their RAP position: the Duke of the Federation sits second on consensus with a RAP under half of Blackvalk's, and the Steampunk Bobbie ranks eighth on 194,157 R$ of RAP while Dr. Ishmael, with four times that RAP, ranks last. Thin-market items trade far above their last recorded sales, which is covered in more depth in our guide to projected items and stale prices.
Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora: 100 copies and 2013's highest RAP
Roblox put the Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora on sale on 21 June 2013 at 50,000 Robux and capped it at 100 copies. Anyone who bought one at launch and held it is sitting on a RAP of 11,328,842 R$, roughly 227 times what they paid.
Two things keep it at the top. 100 copies spread across thirteen years of bans, quits and long-term holders leaves very few people willing to sell, and the Sparkle Time name carries more recognition than almost any other classic line. It also holds the highest RAP of any Sparkle Time Fedora, just ahead of the 98-copy Purple from October 2011 at 10,888,103 R$. On trader consensus the 2012 Red edges it into second place for the family, which is a fair warning about reading RAP as a ranking. The family's full story is in our Sparkle Time series history, with live rankings on the Sparkle Time collection and the wider fedora collection.
Duke of the Federation: 25 copies and the year's widest RAP gap
The Duke of the Federation went on sale 30 August 2013 at 100,000 Robux, a brutal price for the era, and only 25 copies exist. That makes it the smallest print run of the entire year. Its RAP reads 3,469,832 R$, which ranks it fourth among 2013 Limiteds, and on trader consensus it ranks second.
That gap comes from how RAP is built. The formula moves an item's RAP one tenth of the way toward each new sale price, so an item that sells once every few years barely moves. 25 copies produce almost no sales, the recorded average goes stale, and the number you see undershoots what a copy would actually cost. The cheapest listed copy asks 100,000,000 R$, which is the holders telling you where they think it sits.
Blackvalk and Dominus Aureus: the two free items that carry the year
56 of 2013's Limiteds carry no Robux launch price in Roblox's catalog, and two of them rank among the year's five most valuable items. A free release can still end up expensive. What decides it is how many copies exist and how badly people want them.
Blackvalk, 267 copies
The Blackvalk is the black recolor of the Valkyrie Helm, one of Roblox's most recognisable hat lines. Our catalog dates the asset to 31 July 2013 with 267 copies, and it carries a RAP of 7,733,715 R$ with its cheapest listing at 49,999,999 R$. It shows no Robux launch price, and long-time traders describe it as having been sold for Tickets, the free second currency Roblox ran alongside Robux in that era and later retired. That Tickets detail comes from community records, so treat it as collector lore. The line's full story sits in our Valkyrie Helm history and the Valkyrie collection.
Dominus Aureus, 302 copies
The Dominus Aureus closed out the year on 18 December 2013 with 302 copies, a RAP of 7,620,311 R$ and a cheapest listing of 8,884,000 R$. It carries no Robux launch price either, and community records tie it to one of the holiday gift boxes Roblox ran at that time. Gift-box items were a regular Roblox habit for years, which we traced in our history of Roblox mystery gift boxes, and the wider line is covered in our Dominus series history and the Dominus collection.
Of the two, Blackvalk ranks higher on trader consensus despite the two RAPs sitting within 120,000 R$ of each other. Fewer copies and a more popular silhouette do the work.
Which 2013 Roblox Limited has the most copies? Business Cat at 647,025
Business Cat went on sale 3 July 2013 at 200 Robux and minted 647,025 copies, the largest print run of any 2013 Limited. It trades at a RAP of 984 R$ with copies listed from 998 R$, so the supply sets the price and scarcity plays no part at all.
| Item | Released | Copies | Launch price | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Jul 2013 | 647,025 | 200 R$ | 984 R$ | 998 R$ | |
| 30 Aug 2013 | 445,041 | 150 R$ | 1,383 R$ | 1,490 R$ | |
| 15 Feb 2013 | 315,600 | Free | 352 R$ | 443 R$ | |
| 3 Jan 2013 | 258,316 | Free | 161 R$ | 196 R$ | |
| 1 Mar 2013 | 253,645 | Free | 169 R$ | 200 R$ |
Ten of the fourteen 2013 runs above 100,000 copies are egg hunt eggs, and they all price in the same tight low band. The year's hunt has its own story in our Egg Hunt 2013 history, and live rankings sit on the eggs collection. 2013's biggest run is still far from the all-time record, which belongs to a 2019 giveaway item with over 6.4 million copies, listed in our guide to the Limiteds with the most copies.
How does 2013 compare to other Roblox release years?
Here is every year Roblox released a meaningful number of Limiteds, by combined and median RAP.
| Release year | Limiteds | Combined RAP | Median RAP | Median copies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2007 | 53 | 18,333,403 R$ | 14,175 R$ | 2,531 |
| 2008 | 46 | 4,835,144 R$ | 6,725 R$ | 5,018 |
| 2009 | 196 | 24,874,563 R$ | 8,172 R$ | 1,435 |
| 2010 | 342 | 55,453,748 R$ | 15,876 R$ | 918 |
| 2011 | 371 | 61,335,862 R$ | 10,864 R$ | 954 |
| 2012 | 264 | 42,296,226 R$ | 10,096 R$ | 966 |
| 2013 | 258 | 40,358,335 R$ | 5,428 R$ | 1,500 |
| 2014 | 233 | 40,021,183 R$ | 6,125 R$ | 1,501 |
| 2015 | 192 | 60,530,696 R$ | 12,081 R$ | 1,070 |
| 2016 | 181 | 30,402,789 R$ | 10,358 R$ | 1,500 |
| 2017 | 90 | 16,322,701 R$ | 2,296 R$ | 9,898 |
| 2018 | 106 | 7,094,371 R$ | 4,676 R$ | 2,452 |
2013 sits almost exactly where 2012 left off on item count and combined RAP, and well below it on the typical item. The 5,428 R$ median is the lowest of any year from 2007 through 2016, and the jump in median print run from 966 to 1,500 copies explains it. Bigger runs, cheaper middle.
2014 then repeated the pattern almost exactly, at 233 items and a 1,501-copy median, before 2015 swung back toward scarcity. If you want the years either side in the same format, we've covered the Limiteds of 2012, the Limiteds of 2011 and the Limiteds of 2010.
Is it worth buying 2013 Roblox Limiteds? What to watch
The year splits cleanly into two markets, and they behave differently.
The scarce end, meaning the 11 items with 100 copies or fewer, trades on consensus value, and its RAP lags well behind. Expect asks far above the last recorded sale, expect long waits for a real seller, and check how long it has been since the item actually changed hands before you accept any listed number as a price. The items leaderboard and each item's own page are the quickest way to see whether a 2013 hat has live sellers or just one holder with a placeholder ask.
The mass-print end, meaning anything above 10,000 copies, prices off supply and sits in the hundreds of Robux. Those items move often, so their RAP is close to honest, and the spread between RAP and the cheapest ask is usually a few percent. They also give you very little room: when you resell a classic Limited, Roblox takes a 30% marketplace cut and you keep 70%, so a copy has to appreciate about 1.43 times before you break even. On a 984 R$ item that leaves a couple of hundred Robux of headroom at best. Reselling a Limited also needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, though whoever buys it needs no subscription of their own.
One timing rule applies across the whole year. After you buy a classic Limited on resale you wait 7 days before you can resell it, and after it arrives through a trade you wait 2 days. Plan around that before you commit Robux to a flip. Our deal feed tracks listings that fall below the market on items like these, and it needs a signed-in account.
None of this is financial advice. Prices on thin 2013 items move on single sales, and a RAP you read today can be months stale.

FAQ
How many Limiteds did Roblox release in 2013?
Roblox released 258 Limiteds in 2013, holding 40,358,335 Robux of combined RAP as of 31 October 2026. That is slightly fewer items than 2012's 264 and well under the 371 of 2011.
What is the most valuable Roblox Limited from 2013?
The Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora has the highest RAP of any 2013 Limited at 11,328,842 R$. It launched on 21 June 2013 at 50,000 Robux with 100 copies, and traders also rank it first on consensus value for the year.
What is the rarest Roblox Limited from 2013?
The Duke of the Federation is the rarest 2013 Limited by copy count, with 25 copies. It launched on 30 August 2013 at 100,000 Robux. No 2013 Limited has fewer than 25 copies, which makes the year unusual next to 2012 and its 22 items with 10 copies or fewer.
Why is the median RAP of 2013 Limiteds so low?
Print runs got much larger. The median 2013 Limited minted 1,500 copies against 966 in 2012, and 40 items cleared 10,000 copies. More supply means a lower price per copy, which drags the typical 2013 item down to a 5,428 R$ RAP, the lowest median of any year from 2007 to 2016.
Which 2013 Roblox Limited has the most copies?
Business Cat has the most copies of any 2013 Limited at 647,025, released 3 July 2013 at 200 Robux. It trades at a 984 R$ RAP. The all-time copy record belongs to a 2019 giveaway item with more than 6.4 million copies.
Can you still trade Roblox Limiteds from 2013?
Yes. Every 2013 Limited was made by Roblox, and Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so the whole year is eligible for player-to-player trades. Both sides need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a classic Limited received in a trade is held for 2 days before it can move again.
Why do some 2013 Limiteds show no launch price?
56 of 2013's Limiteds carry no Robux launch price in the catalog because they were handed out free, sold through gift boxes, or priced in Tickets, the second currency Roblox ran alongside Robux at the time. The Blackvalk and the Dominus Aureus both show no Robux price and still rank among the year's five most valuable items.
How much does a 2013 Roblox Limited cost today?
Most of them are cheap: 160 of the 258 sit below a 10,000 R$ RAP and 28 below 1,000 R$. The expensive tier is small, with 6 items above 1,000,000 R$ and 23 above 100,000 R$, so the year's money sits in about a dozen hats and swords.
