Roblox released 342 Limiteds in 2010, and that crop has held its value better than any other year in the catalog. The median RAP of a 2010 Limited is 15,810 Robux, higher than the median for every year from 2007 through 2026. The year opened with the Dominus Empyreus on 23 January 2010, which Roblox sold to 23 buyers for 13,337 Robux and which now carries a RAP of 13,577,229 R$. A Limited is an item Roblox stopped selling after a fixed number of copies went out, which is what lets players resell and trade those copies afterwards. RAP, short for recent average price, is Roblox's smoothed running average of an item's whole sale history.
Quick answer: Roblox's 2010 Limiteds number 342 items with a combined RAP of 55,445,095 Robux and a median of 15,810 R$, the highest median of any release year. The Dominus Empyreus leads the year on value, and four skater hats that launched at 7 Robux produced the biggest gains on launch price.

What were Roblox's 2010 Limiteds? 342 items, eight of them above a million Robux
Roblox made every one of them itself. In 2010 there was no community-made Limited at all, so the whole year is what traders call classic Limiteds: items with Roblox listed as the creator, which are also the only Limiteds the player-to-player trade system accepts today.
The year covered a lot of ground. Two entries in the Dominus line, the four skate-trick hats, a hair piece named after an admin, a gear item that cost 12,000 Robux on release, and a long tail of cheap hats. That tail is real: 134 of the 342 sit below a 10,000 R$ RAP and 44 sit below 2,000 R$. Eight items clear a million.
Copy counts ran far higher than people assume for old items. The median 2010 Limited minted 918 copies, so the year is not mostly tiny print runs. The scarcity sits at the top: 35 of the 342 went out with 100 copies or fewer, and those are the ones that carry the year.

Why does 2010 have the highest median RAP of any year? Large print runs plus fifteen years of attrition
Here is every year Roblox released Limiteds, by the median RAP of that year's items.
| Release year | Limiteds | Median RAP | Combined RAP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2007 | 53 | 14,175 R$ | 18,328,078 R$ |
| 2008 | 46 | 6,413 R$ | 4,825,868 R$ |
| 2009 | 196 | 8,077 R$ | 24,870,252 R$ |
| 2010 | 342 | 15,810 R$ | 55,445,095 R$ |
| 2011 | 369 | 10,864 R$ | 61,329,802 R$ |
| 2012 | 260 | 9,838 R$ | 41,941,841 R$ |
| 2013 | 257 | 5,561 R$ | 40,368,475 R$ |
| 2014 | 233 | 6,125 R$ | 40,026,847 R$ |
| 2015 | 192 | 12,006 R$ | 60,270,119 R$ |
| 2016 | 181 | 10,358 R$ | 30,407,147 R$ |
| 2017 | 89 | 2,254 R$ | 16,324,124 R$ |
| 2018 | 106 | 4,768 R$ | 7,057,591 R$ |
2011 beat 2010 on item count and on combined RAP, and it owns the single highest RAP in the catalog. On the typical item, though, 2010 wins. The median is the number to watch when you are buying a single hat, because a year's total is dominated by a handful of gems. A gem is a scarce, high-value Limited.
Two things got 2010 here. Print runs were big enough that the items spread across thousands of avatars and stayed familiar, and they are now old enough that fifteen years of inactive accounts, moderated accounts and panic sales have thinned the copies anyone will actually list. The count Roblox minted stays printed on the item page while the number available keeps falling. Our guide on what makes a Roblox Limited rare walks through that drain.
Which 2010 Roblox Limiteds are worth the most? The Dominus Empyreus, well clear of the rest
These are the fifteen most valuable Limiteds Roblox released in 2010, ordered by trader consensus on what a copy is worth today. Lowest ask means the cheapest copy currently listed for resale.

Fourteen of those fifteen have fewer than 100 copies, the 247-copy Red Domino Crown being the only exception. The full lines these items belong to have their own deep dives: the Dominus series history, the skater hat series, the Bling series, the Domino Crown series, the sword cane series and the DJ headphones line.
Dominus Empyreus: the 13,337-Robux hat that set 2010's ceiling
Roblox created the Dominus Empyreus on 23 January 2010 and 23 copies went out at 13,337 Robux each. That price was a joke about leetspeak, and at the time it was an enormous amount of money for a hat. The RAP today is 13,577,229 R$, about 1,018 times the launch price, and the Empyreus is a fixture near the top of the most expensive Limiteds collection.
Twenty-three copies is the whole supply, and that is the number driving everything else. Buyers who paid 13,337 Robux in 2010 bought roughly a quarter of the entire year's current RAP between them. The item has its own place in the Dominus collection alongside the rest of the line.
Dominus Infernus: why its RAP reads lower than traders pay
The Dominus Infernus launched on 20 July 2010 at 26,000 Robux, double the Empyreus price, to 27 buyers. Its RAP is 1,973,087 R$, about 76 times launch. On RAP alone it ranks fifth among 2010 items. Experienced traders put it second for the year, right behind the Empyreus.
The reason is sale frequency. RAP only moves when a copy changes hands, and each sale shifts it by one tenth of the gap between the old RAP and the new price. On an item with 27 copies and years between sales, the printed RAP is a record of trades that happened a long time ago. We measured how slowly that catches up in how long RAP takes to update.
That divergence is normal on thin markets and it is worth understanding before you value anything by RAP. Our explainer on what RAP is covers the formula in full.
The 7-Robux skater hats: 2010's biggest gains on launch price
Six 2010 Limiteds launched at 7 Robux. Four are skate-trick hats, and their returns dwarf everything else in the year.
- ): Euro 180, 42 copies, 859,086 R$ RAP, about 122,700 times launch
- ): Star Tailslide, 87 copies, 826,294 R$ RAP, about 118,000 times launch
- ): Red Grind, 82 copies, 723,674 R$ RAP, about 103,400 times launch
- ): Gold Ollie, 77 copies, 354,081 R$ RAP, about 50,600 times launch
The other two 7-Robux items went very differently. Yum! is a classic face with 1,796 copies and a 308,091 R$ RAP, though every classic 2D face was replaced with an animated version in Roblox's 2026 head migration and face values fell hard afterwards, which we covered in the decline in Roblox face values. Frosted Santa, Harbinger of Christmas Creep is a 274-copy gear item sitting at 27,965 R$.
Pricing has nothing to do with these outcomes. All six cost 7 Robux. What separated them was copy count and whether the design kept getting worn, and the 42-copy hat ended up worth about 2.8 times the 1,796-copy face.
Where does RAP disagree with traders in 2010?
Order the year by RAP and you get a different list from the one above. These are the eight biggest movers among 2010's thirty highest-RAP Limiteds, with each item's position on RAP beside its position on trader consensus.
| Item | Copies | RAP | Rank on RAP | Rank on consensus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 27 | 1,973,087 R$ | 5th | 2nd | |
| 42 | 859,086 R$ | 9th | 4th | |
| 48 | 640,600 R$ | 16th | 5th | |
| 43 | 5,495,998 R$ | 2nd | 6th | |
| 10 | 576,204 R$ | 17th | 8th | |
| 1,037 | 1,477,314 R$ | 7th | 17th | |
| 280 | 1,204,508 R$ | 8th | 20th | |
| 149 | 685,120 R$ | 14th | 26th |
The items that climb all have tiny supply: 10 to 48 copies apiece. Copies that scarce almost never sell, so the last recorded sale can be years old and the RAP stays frozen near whatever it was then. The Decklace moves eleven places and the Eccentric Shop Teacher nine, both on RAPs under 700,000 R$, which puts them ahead of 2010 items whose RAPs run several times higher.
The items that fall have supply instead. The Transient Harmonica minted 1,037 copies, and its cheapest listing at 1,599,999 R$ sits barely above its own RAP, which tells you sellers are not finding buyers higher up. The Subarctic Commando has 280 copies. The Red Bandana of SQL Injection is the interesting middle case: its 5,495,998 R$ RAP is the second highest of the year, yet traders place it sixth, which points to a few large old sales having pulled the average up past what a copy clears now.
Checking both numbers on the items leaderboard before you commit is the habit worth building. The Transient Harmonica history and the Commando series history go deeper on those two.
Can you actually buy a 2010 Limited today? Often not at a sane price
Look again at the lowest-ask column. The Dominus Empyreus, the Dominus Infernus and the Red Bandana of SQL Injection all show 618,033,988 R$, a joke number built from the golden ratio. The Bling $$ Necklace and ): Star Tailslide show 999,999,999,999 R$. The Telamon Hair asks 6,969,696,969 R$.
Nobody is selling at those prices. An owner who wants to keep an item but cannot hide it from the resale market lists it at an absurd number so the listing exists and never fills. We wrote about the pattern in Roblox Limiteds listed for billions. Ten of the fifteen items above ask more than 100,000,000 R$, so for two thirds of the list the practical answer is that no copy is for sale.
Five have asks a buyer could actually meet: the Red Domino Crown at 6,900,000 R$, the Ghostwalker at 9,900,002 R$, the ): Gold Ollie at 10,000,000 R$, the ): Red Grind at 19,200,000 R$ and the Double Platinum DJ at 20,000,000 R$. The Transient Harmonica, from the table above, is the cheapest serious entry in the whole group at 1,599,999 R$.
Buying any of them on the resale market starts a holding period, a window after purchase when you cannot resell the copy. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that after purchasing a Limited there is a holding period of up to 30 days; for classic Roblox-made Limiteds the holds in practice are 7 days after a resale purchase and 2 days after a trade. Selling later costs a 30% marketplace fee, so you keep 70% of the sale price and need about 1.43 times your cost to break even. Reselling also needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, and trading needs one on both sides. You can watch asks move on the reseller terminal, and the Deals feed, which requires a signed-in account, flags listings that drop.
What should a collector take from 2010?
Three things come out of the data.
Copy count did the work. The best multiple in the year belongs to a 7-Robux hat with 42 copies, and the highest absolute value to a 13,337-Robux hat with 23 copies. Both are tiny print runs. The 1,796-copy face that cost the same 7 Robux ended up well below both.
The year's strength is in the middle, which is unusual. A 15,810 R$ median means a 2010 item picked at random is worth more than a random item from any other year, and that is the part of 2010 most people miss while looking at the Dominus line.
Liquidity is the catch. Fourteen of the top fifteen have fewer than 100 copies, several have no serious listing at all, and a seven-figure Limited can take months to sell. Age and scarcity set the price, and finding a buyer is a separate problem.
None of this is financial advice. Thin markets reprice quickly, and fifteen years of history describes what already happened.
Figures come from RBX Invest catalog data as of 28 October 2026, with release dates, launch prices, copy counts and lowest resale prices verified the same day against each item's Roblox economy endpoint, and fee and holding-period rules from Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions documentation.
FAQ
How many Limiteds did Roblox release in 2010?
Roblox released 342 Limiteds in 2010, all created by Roblox itself. Their combined RAP is 55,445,095 Robux as of 28 October 2026, eight of them sit above a 1,000,000 R$ RAP, and 35 went out with 100 copies or fewer. Community-made Limiteds did not exist yet, so every 2010 item is a classic Limited.
What is the most valuable Roblox Limited from 2010?
The Dominus Empyreus, created on 23 January 2010 with 23 copies. Its RAP is 13,577,229 Robux, roughly 1,018 times the 13,337 Robux Roblox charged for it. Experienced traders also rank it first for the year, ahead of the Dominus Infernus.
Why do 2010 Roblox Limiteds hold value so well?
Two reasons. Their print runs were large enough to put the designs on thousands of avatars, which kept them recognisable, and they are old enough that fifteen years of inactive and moderated accounts have cut the number of copies anyone will list. The median 2010 Limited has a RAP of 15,810 Robux, the highest median of any release year from 2007 to 2026.
Which 2010 Roblox Limited gained the most on its launch price?
The ): Euro 180. It launched at 7 Robux on 12 March 2010 with 42 copies and now carries an 859,086 R$ RAP, about 122,700 times what it cost. Three other skate-trick hats also launched at 7 Robux: ): Star Tailslide at about 118,000 times, ): Red Grind at about 103,400 times and ): Gold Ollie at about 50,600 times.
Why is the Dominus Infernus RAP lower than the Dominus Empyreus RAP?
Because the Infernus barely sells. RAP moves only when a copy changes hands, and each sale shifts it by one tenth of the gap between the old RAP and the new price. With 27 copies and long gaps between sales, the Infernus RAP of 1,973,087 Robux reflects old trades, and trader consensus puts a copy well above that figure.
Can you buy a 2010 Roblox Limited right now?
Sometimes. Of the fifteen most valuable 2010 items, ten ask more than 100,000,000 R$, with cheapest copies at figures such as 618,033,988 R$ or 999,999,999,999 R$ that exist so the listing never fills. Five carry asks a buyer could meet: the Red Domino Crown at 6,900,000 R$, the Ghostwalker at 9,900,002 R$, the ): Gold Ollie at 10,000,000 R$, the ): Red Grind at 19,200,000 R$ and the Double Platinum DJ at 20,000,000 R$.
Are 2010 Roblox Limiteds tradeable?
Yes. Every 2010 Limited is Roblox-created, and Roblox's trade system accepts classic Roblox-made Limiteds only, so the whole year is tradeable. Trading requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts, and a classic Limited received in a trade carries a 2-day hold before it can move again.
Where can I compare 2010 Limiteds with the rest of the market?
The items leaderboard ranks every tracked Limited by value, the classic hats collection gathers the Roblox-made hats, and the under 100 copies collection isolates the scarce end where most of 2010's value sits. For the years either side, see Roblox's oldest Limiteds from 2007.
