Roblox makeup Limiteds are one of the smallest corners of the Limited market. A Limited is an avatar item Roblox or a creator released in a fixed number of copies, which owners can then resell to each other for Robux (R$). RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026 tracks 29 makeup Limiteds across five categories (face makeup, lip makeup, eye makeup, eyelashes and eyebrows) out of 198,859 UGC Limiteds in total, and every one of them was published in 2026. The priciest by RAP is waffle lipstick at 566 R$, which sits only a little above the 199 R$ median RAP for all UGC Limiteds with a sale history.
Quick answer: There are 29 Roblox makeup, eyelash and eyebrow Limiteds, all published in 2026, and the most valuable one has a RAP of 566 R$. They are new and scarce as a category, but big print runs and a 30 R$ price floor keep individual prices low.
| Category | Limiteds tracked | Oldest one | Highest RAP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Face makeup | 16 | March 20, 2026 | 340 R$ |
| Lip makeup | 4 | March 20, 2026 | 566 R$ |
| Eyelashes | 4 | March 24, 2026 | 381 R$ |
| Eyebrows | 3 | March 31, 2026 | 115 R$ |
| Eye makeup | 2 | March 20, 2026 | No RAP yet |
What is a Roblox makeup Limited? Avatar makeup with a resale market
A makeup Limited is a UGC Limited, meaning a community creator made it and set a fixed number of copies when they published it. "UGC" is Roblox's label for items that players and studios build and publish themselves, and that label changes how the item behaves on the market. You can read the full comparison in our guide to classic Limiteds versus UGC Limiteds.
Two numbers follow every Limited around. Copies (sometimes called the print) is how many exist in total, and once the creator's stock hits zero the item is sold out, so the only way to get one is to buy it from another player. RAP stands for Recent Average Price, a smoothed average of an item's whole resale history that moves a tenth of the way toward each new sale. Our explainer on what RAP means on Roblox walks through the formula.
Every makeup Limited we track lives on the UGC Limited makeup collection, ranked by RAP with live reseller prices.
When did Roblox makeup Limiteds launch? March 31, 2026
Roblox announced Avatar Makeup in a Developer Forum post on March 31, 2026, introducing three new asset types: FaceMakeup, LipMakeup and EyeMakeup. The same announcement set the price floor for makeup at 30 Robux and allowed players to wear up to six makeup textures at once across the lip, eye and face regions, plus one eyebrow and one eyelash accessory.
Creation did not open to everyone on day one. A Makeup Studio Beta and a pilot program came first, and Roblox confirmed in an update on April 9, 2026 that makeup creation was open to all UGC creators. You can see that sequence in the catalog. The three oldest makeup Limiteds we track all went live on March 20, 2026, eleven days before the public announcement, published by the group Chubby Carrots while the category was still closed to most creators.
Chubby Carrots published six of the 29, including the highest-RAP eyelash item and the highest-RAP eyebrow item in the category.
Avatar backgrounds arrived even later in 2026 and already outnumber all 29 makeup Limiteds, which is worth a look in our guide to Roblox Limited avatar backgrounds. Eyebrows and eyelashes, meanwhile, are older as item types. Our catalog holds eyebrow accessories going back to August 2022 and eyelashes to October 2022, but none of those early ones were Limited. The oldest eyelash Limited we track is from March 24, 2026 and the oldest eyebrow Limited is from March 31, 2026. Two of the three eyebrow Limiteds ever made went up the next day, on April 1: CHEESE burger eyebrows and banana brows.
Which Roblox makeup Limiteds are worth the most? waffle lipstick leads at 566 R$
Here are the ten highest-RAP makeup, eyelash and eyebrow Limiteds, with copy counts and the cheapest listing on Roblox as of October 7, 2026. Eleven more items sit at exactly 30 R$, the launch floor, and eight carry no RAP at all. No trader consensus value has formed around any of them yet, so RAP and the lowest ask are all the market gives you.

waffle lipstick, the top of a small market
waffle lipstick went on sale at 99 R$ on April 1, 2026 in a run of 500 copies, and it has sold out. Its RAP of 566 R$ is the highest in the category, and that figure tells you people have paid real multiples of the original price for it.
The interesting part is the gap underneath. The cheapest copy listed right now is 249 R$, well below the 566 R$ RAP. A resale floor that sits under RAP usually means resellers are undercutting each other faster than buyers are clearing the queue, so the last few sales printed higher than what you can pay today. We dig into that pattern in why a Roblox Limited sells above or below its RAP.
Why don't makeup Limiteds sell for more? Big prints and a 30 R$ floor
Three forces hold this category down, and all three are structural.
The prints are large. Thirteen of the 29 were published in runs of 3,000 copies or more. Roblox's marketplace documentation caps buyers at three successful purchases per account per item, so a 3,000-copy run still spreads across a thousand owners or more. Scarcity is what drives Limited prices, and a thousand owners is comfortable supply.
Makeup is cheap to start with. The 30 R$ floor from the launch announcement is among the lowest on the Marketplace, and 14 of the 29 launched right at it. When a brand-new copy costs 30 R$, nobody pays 500 R$ for a second-hand one unless the item is sold out and genuinely wanted.
Nobody can trade them. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so a makeup Limited changes hands exclusively through a Marketplace resale. That removes the trade-ad demand that props up classic items like fedoras and Dominus hats, and it means value has to come from players who want the look on their avatar.
The reseller math on a cheap item
Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions documentation sets the resale split on a community-created Limited at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox. The reseller keeps half of the sale price, so break-even is 2x what you paid.
Run it with round numbers. Buy a lipstick Limited for 100 R$, resell it at 200 R$, and you receive 100 R$. You are square, with nothing to show for the wait. To clear 100 R$ of profit you need a 400 R$ sale. On an item whose whole category tops out at 566 R$, that is a thin runway. Our UGC Limited reselling guide covers the same math on items with more room.
The waiting is real too. Buy from the creator at launch and there is a holding period of up to 30 days before you can list it; buy on the resale market and the hold is up to 7 days. We break both down in our guide to Roblox Limited holding periods. Reselling also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on the selling account. Buyers of a resale need no subscription at all.
Are any Roblox makeup Limiteds actually rare? Nine thin prints, seven unsold
Yes, and they are the ones worth watching. Nine of the 29 were published in runs of 25 copies or fewer, and all nine were given away at 0 R$ inside an experience. Seven of those nine have no RAP on record, which means our data shows no completed resale for them. Here are five of the seven.
| Item | Copies | Lowest ask | Resale history |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 9,999 R$ | No RAP on record | |
| 19 | 8,999 R$ | No RAP on record | |
| 15 | 798 R$ | No RAP on record | |
| 10 | 2,249 R$ | No RAP on record | |
| 2 | None listed | No RAP on record |
Reflective Rainbow Gradient Face: five copies, zero recorded sales
Five copies exist. The cheapest one on sale is asking 9,999 R$. Those two facts together look like a gem, the word we use for a scarce high-value Limited, and the asking price is the part you should be careful with.
An ask is a number one owner typed into a box. It becomes a price when somebody pays it. Until a sale clears, a 9,999 R$ ask on a five-copy makeup item tells you how the owner feels about their copy and nothing about what the market will bear. The same logic applies to projected items, where a single inflated sale drags RAP somewhere the market never agreed to go.
These five are genuinely scarce, and so far nobody has shown that anyone will pay those asks. If one of them resells at four figures and the next one follows, that is the signal the category is growing a top end. Watch the completed sales.
Should you buy a Roblox makeup Limited? Buy it to wear it
If you want galaxy lashes on your avatar and you like owning something sold out, a few hundred Robux buys a copy of an item whose entire print is 25 to 500 copies. That is a fair reason, and the price band is low enough that a mistake costs you pocket change.
As a place to put Robux you want to grow, this category has not earned it yet. There is no established top end, no trade market, and a 50% cut on every resale against items worth a few hundred Robux. If you are hunting for resale profit in cheap UGC, the UGC Limiteds still in stock collection and our list of which UGC Limiteds to buy for reselling point at categories with deeper buyers. For bargain hunting across the whole market, Limiteds under 100 R$ and the Deals feed, which needs a signed-in account, surface copies listed below RAP as they appear.
One thing to keep an eye on: this category is about six months old, and plenty of players care a great deal about how their avatar looks. If a creator publishes a 50-copy makeup item that people genuinely want, this category gets a top end fast. Track the items leaderboard and the makeup collections for the first one that sells.
None of this is financial advice. Limiteds are virtual collectibles, prices move for reasons nobody controls, and you should only spend Robux you are comfortable losing.

FAQ
How many Roblox makeup Limiteds are there?
There are 29 as of October 2026: 16 face makeup, 4 lip makeup, 4 eyelash, 3 eyebrow and 2 eye makeup Limiteds. That is 29 out of the 198,859 UGC Limiteds RBX Invest tracks, which puts makeup, lashes and brows among the thinnest categories on the Marketplace.
What is the most valuable Roblox makeup Limited?
waffle lipstick, with a RAP of 566 R$ as of October 7, 2026. It launched at 99 R$ on April 1, 2026 in a run of 500 copies and sold out. The cheapest copy listed for resale is 249 R$, below its RAP.
Can you trade Roblox makeup Limiteds?
No. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, and every makeup Limited is community-created. They change hands only through Marketplace resales, which means a buyer pays Robux and the seller receives a share of it.
Do you need Roblox Plus to resell a makeup Limited?
Yes, on the selling side. An active Roblox Plus subscription is required on the account listing a Limited for resale. The buyer needs no subscription, so anyone with Robux can purchase a resale copy.
How much does a reseller keep on a makeup Limited?
Half the sale price. Roblox's marketplace fees documentation sets the community-created Limited resale split at 50% reseller, 10% original creator, 10% seller or affiliate and 30% Roblox. Break-even is a resale at 2x what you paid, so a 100 R$ purchase needs a 200 R$ sale just to get your Robux back.
Why do some makeup Limiteds show no RAP?
Because no resale has completed for them. RAP is built from actual sales, so an item with copies in a handful of inventories and no completed resale carries no RAP, even when an owner has listed one at 9,999 R$. An asking price only becomes a market price when somebody pays it.
When did makeup Limiteds launch on Roblox?
Roblox announced Avatar Makeup on March 31, 2026 and opened creation to all UGC creators on April 9, 2026. A pilot program came first, which is why the three oldest makeup Limiteds in our catalog are dated March 20, 2026.
Are makeup Limiteds a good first Limited to buy?
They are a cheap and low-risk way to own a sold-out item, and a poor pick if your goal is resale profit. Prices sit in the tens to low hundreds of Robux, there is no trading demand, and the 50% resale cut is steep on an item worth 300 R$. Buy one because you want to wear it.
