Roblox halo Limiteds are all community-made. Roblox has never published a halo as one of its own Limiteds, so every halo with a resale market behind it came from a UGC creator. RBX Invest tracks 582 halo UGC Limiteds spread across 816,115 copies and 279 different creators, and the prices are lower than most people guess. The median halo carries a 109 R$ RAP, and 422 of the 582 sit under 500 R$. The highest RAP in the category belongs to Greeny halo at 14,089 R$ across 11 copies.
Quick answer: Most Roblox halo Limiteds are worth under 500 R$, with a median RAP of 109 R$. Only 64 of the 582 halos in the RBX Invest catalog carry a RAP of 1,000 R$ or higher. Every halo Limited is a UGC Limited, which means halos change hands through Marketplace resales and never through a player trade.

Why is every Roblox halo a UGC Limited? Roblox never published one
A Limited is an item that is no longer sold by its creator and exists in a fixed number of copies, which players then resell to each other. A classic Limited is one Roblox itself published, like a Dominus hat or a Sparkle Time Fedora. A UGC Limited is the same idea with a community creator behind it, and Roblox opened that door in April 2023.
Search the whole catalog for halos and the split is clean. All 582 halo Limiteds are UGC Limiteds. Roblox published none of them. A separate 129 halos sit in the Marketplace as ordinary items with unlimited stock, so those never build a resale market at all. If you want the wider picture on how the two kinds of Limited differ, RBX Invest has a full breakdown of classic Limiteds versus UGC Limiteds.
The first halo Limited landed in the opening week
The RBX Invest catalog dates Cloud Halo to April 5, 2023, the day Roblox announced UGC Limiteds, which puts it among the very first halos ever sold with a capped supply. The creator printed 1,200 copies at 1,500 R$ each. Three and a half years on it holds a 1,470 R$ RAP against a 1,750 R$ resale floor, and 445 copies are still unsold at the creator's original price. That is the unusual case where buying from the creator costs less than buying from a reseller. The trade-off is the longer holding period, covered further down. For the rest of that first week's items, see the piece on Roblox's first UGC Limiteds.
How much are Roblox halos worth? Here are the ten highest by RAP
RAP stands for Recent Average Price. Roblox recalculates it after every sale with one formula: new RAP equals old RAP plus (sale price minus old RAP) divided by ten. It smooths an item's entire sale history, so it moves slowly and it lags a market that is moving fast. Copies means how many exist in total. The lowest ask, sometimes called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy any player has listed right now.
| Halo | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11 | 14,089 R$ | 30,000,000 R$ | |
| 100 | 6,571 R$ | 19,999 R$ | |
| 15 | 6,517 R$ | 10,000 R$ | |
| 100 | 6,375 R$ | 14,850 R$ | |
| 55 | 5,705 R$ | 11,000 R$ | |
| 250 | 5,279 R$ | 1,999 R$ | |
| 25 | 5,161 R$ | 7,500 R$ | |
| 12 | 5,000 R$ | None listed | |
| 12 | 4,881 R$ | None listed | |
| 45 | 4,486 R$ | 4,000 R$ |
Look at how far apart those last two columns get. Classic Limiteds have a settled trader consensus value that experienced collectors quote alongside RAP. Halos have no equivalent rating, so RAP and the live resale floor are the only two numbers you get, and on an 11-copy print they can disagree by a factor of two thousand.
Greeny halo's cheapest listed copy at 30,000,000 R$ is the clearest example. Nobody is paying that. The same goes for Ancentry Halo, whose cheapest copy is listed at 9,999,999,999 R$ against a 4,322 R$ RAP. Owners of very thin items park a placeholder price so the copy technically shows as listed while they wait for an offer. RBX Invest wrote about the whole pattern in Roblox Limiteds listed for billions.
One halo in that table belongs to a family with its own history. The Halo of Sparkling Heroes line, released in color variants through mid-2023, has a dedicated deep dive in the Halo of Sparkling Heroes series article.
Which halos do most players actually own? The 2023 royal line
The top-ten table is full of prints so small that most traders will never see one for sale. The halos you actually run into belong to a group of 2023 releases named after royalty and clergy, printed in the hundreds and sold for 150 to 200 R$ at launch. They are the practical entry point to the category.
| Halo | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 301 | 3,715 R$ | 3,699 R$ | |
| 300 | 3,539 R$ | 1,900 R$ | |
| 150 | 3,476 R$ | 7,000 R$ | |
| 500 | 3,355 R$ | 2,900 R$ | |
| 400 | 2,847 R$ | 2,000 R$ | |
| 444 | 2,369 R$ | 1,800 R$ | |
| 350 | 2,219 R$ | 1,500 R$ | |
| 275 | 1,914 R$ | 1,500 R$ |
Every one of those launched between 150 and 200 R$ and now carries a four-figure RAP, which is roughly ten to twenty times the launch price in a little over three years. The Arctic Archpriest's Halo row is the one to study: a 7,000 R$ ask sitting well above a 3,476 R$ RAP, on only 150 copies. When the cheapest copy is double the running average, either the market has moved up and RAP has not caught up yet, or one owner is fishing. Checking the recent sale dates on the item page tells you which.
Can you trade Roblox halos? No, Roblox's own docs rule it out
Roblox's marketplace documentation states it directly: "At this time, only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable." No halo was created by Roblox, so no halo can be put in a trade window. The player-to-player trade system, which needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts, covers classic Limiteds only.
Halos move one way instead. You buy a copy from the creator while stock lasts, or you buy a listed copy from another player, and later you list your own copy for resale. Selling requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, and the creator must have switched resale on for that item when they published it. Roblox's documentation notes that once a creator enables reselling, it cannot be turned off later.
A holding period applies after every purchase. Roblox's documentation puts it at up to 30 days during which the item cannot be resold. In practice that is the full 30 days when you buy from the creator at launch and 7 days when you buy a copy from another player. RBX Invest keeps a full explainer on Roblox Limited holding periods, and that difference is exactly why Cloud Halo's cheaper creator stock is not a free lunch.
What does a halo reseller keep? Half the sale price
Roblox's fee documentation gives the split on a community-created Limited resale as 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. You keep half of whatever a copy sells for.
Work it through with round numbers. Buy a halo for 2,000 R$, resell it at 3,000 R$, and 1,500 R$ lands in your account. That is a 500 R$ loss on a sale that looked like a 1,000 R$ gain. Your break-even resale price is double what you paid, so a 2,000 R$ halo has to fetch 4,000 R$ before you are even.
That 2x hurdle is the single most important number in this category, and it is what makes most halo flips fail. The same documentation adds one more catch for anyone thinking in dollars: Robux from reselling items you did not create are not counted as earned and cannot be cashed out through the Developer Exchange program. For a wider walkthrough of the math, see the UGC Limiteds reselling guide.
None of this is financial advice. Halo prints are small, the data below shows how often there is no buyer at all, and you can lose Robux on any of these.
Which halos hold value, and which ones do not
Four numbers from this run tell most of the story.
221 of the 582 halos have 25 or fewer copies. A tiny print sounds like scarcity, and sometimes it is. More often it means two or three copies change hands a year, your sale sits unmatched for months, and the RAP you are quoting rests on a handful of trades.
165 have no live resale ask at all. Over a quarter of the category has nothing listed, so there is no way in even if you want one. A halo with no ask and a high RAP is a price tag with no market underneath it.
125 still have copies in stock from the creator. An item that has not sold out has no scarcity premium yet, because the supply is not fixed until the last copy goes. The guide on buying a UGC Limited from the creator or a reseller covers when it pays to wait.
Favorites are the demand signal worth watching.
Lime Halo of Life carries 26,643 favorites, the most of any halo Limited, on a 500-copy print that sold at 95 R$. It now holds a 1,112 R$ RAP with a copy listed at 850 R$. Plenty of people want to wear it and the supply is small enough to matter.
Compare that with Catalog Avatar Creator: Inverted Halo, which has 9,511 favorites and 123,456 copies. Its RAP is 95 R$ and the cheapest listing is 95 R$. Wide appeal plus a huge print leaves nothing for a reseller.
Where to track halo prices on RBX Invest
The halo Limiteds collection ranks the whole category live, and the broader UGC Limited hats collection covers the head-slot items halos compete with for attention. The items leaderboard ranks every tracked Limited by value, and the reseller terminal follows your own listings and positions. Signed-in accounts also get the Deals feed, which flags listings sitting below an item's usual price.

FAQ
Can you trade Roblox halos?
No. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, and all 582 halo Limiteds were published by community creators. Halos can only be bought and resold through the Marketplace.
How much is a Roblox halo worth?
Most are worth under 500 R$. The median halo Limited in the RBX Invest catalog carries a 109 R$ RAP as of October 8, 2026, and only 64 of 582 reach a RAP of 1,000 R$ or higher.
What is the most expensive Roblox halo?
Greeny halo holds the highest RAP of any halo Limited at 14,089 R$ across 11 copies. Its cheapest listed copy is priced at 30,000,000 R$, a placeholder that no buyer has ever met, so treat the RAP as the realistic figure.
Was there ever a classic Roblox halo Limited?

How long do you have to wait before reselling a halo?
Roblox's documentation sets a holding period of up to 30 days after purchase during which a Limited cannot be resold. Buying from the creator at launch carries the full 30 days, and buying a copy from another player carries 7 days.
How much does a halo reseller keep after fees?
Half the sale price. Roblox's fee documentation splits a community-created Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so your break-even resale price is twice what you paid for the copy.
Why do some halos show a resale price in the billions?
Because an owner of a very scarce copy listed it at an absurd number to keep it technically for sale while waiting for an offer. Ancentry Halo, with a 4,322 R$ RAP, has its cheapest copy listed at 9,999,999,999 R$. Ignore those asks and read the RAP and the recent sale history instead.
