Roblox Beanie Limiteds: Series History and Values

Roblox beanie Limiteds are 12 Roblox-made knit hats from 2009 to 2022. See RAP, copies and lowest asks, led by the Halloween Beanie at 105,000 R$.

Roblox beanie Limiteds are twelve Roblox-made knit hats that still trade, released between October 2009 and November 2022. A Limited is an item Roblox stopped selling, so the only way to get one now is to buy it from another player or trade for it. The Halloween Beanie leads the family with a RAP of 54,554 R$ and 239 copies in existence, and the cheapest one you can buy right now is the Hanukkah Beanie at 400 R$. Every beanie in the line was made by Roblox itself, which means all twelve can be traded as well as resold.

Quick answer: Twelve Roblox beanie Limiteds are tradeable as of September 2026. The Halloween Beanie (239 copies, 54,554 R$ RAP) is the most valuable, the Hanukkah Beanie (137,714 copies, 434 R$ RAP) is the least, and copy count explains almost all of the gap.

Two terms before you read the table again. RAP stands for recent average price, a smoothed running average of an item's sale history that Roblox and trading sites use as a rough value marker. The lowest ask, also called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy anyone currently has listed, so it's the price you'd actually pay today. The whole beanie family sits inside the wider classic hats collection if you want to see where it ranks against other Roblox-made headwear.

What are Roblox beanie Limiteds? Twelve knit hats Roblox published itself

Roblox uploaded every beanie on the list above itself. That matters for one practical reason: Roblox's marketplace documentation says that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. UGC Limiteds, the ones players design and publish themselves, change hands only through marketplace resales. A beanie can move through a player-to-player trade.

Trading on both sides of the deal needs an active Roblox Plus subscription, and so does listing a beanie for resale. Buying one off the marketplace needs no subscription at all.

The line has no single theme. Roblox released beanies in bursts whenever it felt like it: a Halloween drop in 2009, a run of three in July 2011, winter items, and a brand tie-in a decade later. There's no numbered series and no matching recolor set.

Why is the Halloween Beanie the most valuable Roblox beanie? 239 copies

Halloween Beanie

Roblox published the Halloween Beanie on October 7, 2009 at 15 Robux. Only 239 copies exist. The floor today is 105,000 R$, which is about 7,000 times what an early buyer paid.

Age plus a tiny copy count is the oldest formula in Roblox collecting, and this hat is a clean example of it. In 2009 the site was small, the item was cheap and forgettable, and almost nobody bought one. Seventeen years later those 239 copies are spread across accounts that mostly don't trade, so listings are rare and the few sellers who show up can name their price.

Look at the gap between its RAP of 54,554 R$ and its 105,000 R$ floor. That spread is normal for a thin item, meaning one with very few copies and very few sales. RAP updates a little at a time with each sale, so on an item that sells once or twice a year it lags badly behind what sellers are asking. If you want the full mechanic, we wrote it up in why a Limited's price can sit far above its RAP.

Whether a buyer at 105,000 R$ is getting a fair deal is a judgment call, and nobody can check it against recent sales, because there aren't many. That's the honest state of the item.

What happened in the July 2011 beanie run?

Roblox dropped three beanies inside eight days in July 2011. The Bearded Beanie arrived on the 19th at 100 Robux, the Horned Beanie on the 20th at 10,000 Robux, and the Knitted Beanie Dino on the 26th at 35 Robux.

Two of those became real collectibles. The Bearded Beanie has 965 copies, the third-highest RAP in the family at 12,195 R$, and a 19,999 R$ floor. The Knitted Beanie Dino has 1,383 copies, a 6,613 R$ RAP, and an 8,869 R$ floor.

The Horned Beanie is the odd one. Roblox's item data returns zero copies in circulation for it, so it has no RAP and no resale market, despite nearly 5,000 players favoriting the page. You can't buy it, you can't trade for it, and there's nothing to price. It's a catalog ghost.

That July run is also a useful reminder that original price is a weak predictor of where an item lands. The 100 Robux Bearded Beanie and the 35 Robux Dino both turned into four-figure and five-figure hats, and the 10,000 Robux one never got off the ground.

Why is the Hanukkah Beanie worth so little? 137,714 copies

Hanukkah Beanie

The Hanukkah Beanie came out free on December 5, 2015, and 137,714 copies exist. Its RAP is 434 R$ and you can buy one for 400 R$ right now.

Compare that to the Halloween Beanie: 576 times as many copies, and a RAP 126 times lower. Free giveaway items almost always end up here. Anyone who wanted one got one, so the only buyers left are players who joined later and want the look, and there are tens of thousands of copies waiting for them.

Its floor of 400 R$ also sits below its RAP of 434 R$, which happens when sellers keep undercutting each other to be the cheapest listing. The Halloween Boo Bow Beanie sits at almost exactly the same place, 699 R$ against a 694 R$ RAP.

A 400 R$ hat that 137,714 people own is a genuinely nice starter Limited, and it will sell again quickly if you change your mind. Plenty of new traders start in the cheap Limiteds under 100 R$ range and work up from there.

Are the Forever 21 beanies worth buying? Only at the right floor

Roblox published three Forever 21 branded beanies on November 29, 2022, all at 150 Robux: the Ice Queen Face Beanie, the Magic 24k Gold Forever Beanie, and the Bejeweled Spiked Face Beanie. Copy counts came in between 3,815 and 4,205.

Almost four years later the Ice Queen sits at a 1,950 R$ floor, the Magic 24k Gold at 1,200 R$, and the Bejeweled Spiked at 714 R$. So the first two are up roughly 13x and 8x on their release price, and the third is up about 5x.

Those are decent returns on a 150 R$ item, but notice the shape of the family: three near-identical copy counts and three very different prices. Looks did the sorting. The Ice Queen beanie has 3,980 favorites against the Bejeweled Spiked beanie's 1,902, and the market priced them in the same order. Brand collaborations behave this way a lot, which we covered in more depth in how Roblox brand collab Limiteds hold value.

The Bejeweled Spiked shows the family's widest gap between a floor and a RAP in that direction, 714 R$ against 837 R$. On an item with 3,824 copies that usually means a seller wanted out quickly.

Does popularity predict a beanie's price? Not on its own

The White Beanie with Rainbow Hair has 26,537 favorites, more than five times any other beanie in the family. It ranks fourth by RAP.

Favorites measure how many people liked the look of an item, and they cost nothing to give. Copy count measures how many people can actually sell you one. When those two disagree, copy count wins almost every time. We broke that down separately in do Roblox favorites affect Limited value.

The beanie family makes the point in one line. The White Beanie's RAP is one fifth of the Halloween Beanie's, and the Halloween Beanie has 3,036 favorites.

What does it cost to buy and resell a beanie Limited?

Buying is simple. Open the item page, pick the cheapest listed copy, pay in Robux. Reselling is where the numbers bite.

Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee when you resell a classic Limited, so you keep 70% of whatever it sells for. Work an example with round numbers. You buy the Knitted Beanie Dino at its 8,869 R$ floor. To break even you need to sell for about 12,670 R$, because 12,670 x 0.7 lands back near your 8,869 R$ cost. Break-even is roughly 1.43 times what you paid, every time, on every classic Limited.

There are also waiting periods. After you buy a classic Limited on resale you can't resell it for seven days, and after you receive one in a trade you wait two days. Full details live in our Roblox Limited holding periods guide.

If you're tracking floors across a family like this, the items leaderboard ranks live prices and the Deals feed flags listings that drop under an item's usual floor. Deals needs a signed-in account. Sellers running multiple listings can watch their positions on the reseller terminal.

None of this is financial advice. Limited prices move, thin items move hardest, and only spend Robux you're fine losing.

What should a collector watch in the beanie line?

Three things are worth your attention.

The Halloween Beanie is the only beanie with a gem-tier copy count, meaning scarce enough that a handful of sellers control the price. Anything under a few hundred copies behaves that way. If you want more of those, the Limiteds under 1,000 copies collection is the place to browse.

The July 2011 pair, Bearded Beanie and Knitted Beanie Dino, are the family's middle tier at under 1,400 copies each. They're an affordable way into a genuinely scarce Roblox-made hat from the old catalog, and their floors sit well above their RAPs, which tells you sellers aren't in a hurry.

The Forever 21 trio is the liquid end. Roughly 4,000 copies each means you can buy and sell without waiting weeks, and the spread between floor and RAP is thin. Fine for practice. Margins after the 30% fee are slim.

None of the beanie Limiteds are recolors of each other. Families like the fedoras got Sparkle Time and Bluesteel versions, and that extra depth is a big part of why they trade so actively. For Roblox's other knit-hat line, see the Winter Cap series history.

Release dates, original prices, and circulating copy counts come from Roblox's own item data, RAP and lowest asks from RBX Invest catalog data cross-checked against Roblox's live resale prices on September 26, 2026, and the tradeability and resale rules from Roblox's marketplace documentation the same day.

FAQ

What is the most valuable Roblox beanie Limited?

The Halloween Beanie is the most valuable Roblox beanie, with a RAP of 54,554 R$ and a lowest ask of 105,000 R$ as of September 2026. It was released on October 7, 2009 at 15 Robux and only 239 copies exist.

How many Roblox beanie Limiteds are there?

Twelve Roblox beanie Limiteds currently trade: the Halloween Beanie, Bearded Beanie, Knitted Beanie Dino, Homemade Christmas Beanie, Halloween Boo Bow Beanie, Blue Knit Beanie, Frog Beanie, White Beanie with Rainbow Hair, Hanukkah Beanie, and three Forever 21 beanies from 2022. A thirteenth, the Horned Beanie, shows zero copies in circulation in Roblox's item data.

What is the cheapest Roblox beanie Limited?

The Hanukkah Beanie is the cheapest at a 400 R$ lowest ask, with 137,714 copies in circulation. It was given away free in December 2015, which is why so many exist and why it stays inexpensive.

Can you trade Roblox beanie Limiteds?

Yes. Every beanie Limited was published by Roblox, and Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. Both players in the trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription.

Why is the Halloween Beanie's price so much higher than its RAP?

Because it barely sells. RAP moves a small step toward each new sale price, so on an item with 239 copies and very few trades per year, RAP stays anchored to old sales while sellers list at current market prices. The 54,554 R$ RAP against a 105,000 R$ floor reflects that lag.

How much do you keep when you resell a beanie Limited?

You keep 70% of the sale price, because Roblox charges a 30% marketplace fee on classic Limited resales. Selling a beanie for 10,000 R$ nets you 7,000 R$, so you need to sell for about 1.43 times what you paid just to break even.

Are the Forever 21 beanies a good buy?

They're the most liquid beanies in the family, with roughly 4,000 copies each and floors between 714 R$ and 1,950 R$. All three are up on their 150 R$ release price, but the spreads between floor and RAP are thin, so there isn't much resale margin after the 30% fee.

Do favorites tell you what a Roblox beanie is worth?

No. The White Beanie with Rainbow Hair has 26,537 favorites, far more than any other beanie, and still ranks fourth by RAP. Copy count is the far stronger predictor of price, because it controls how many people can sell you one.
