Roblox's bowler hats are a family of 18 classic Limiteds published by Roblox between March 2010 and October 2017. A Limited is a catalog item with a capped number of copies that players can resell and trade with each other. The Blue Sparkle Time Bowler leads the family at 85,045 R$ RAP with only 270 copies in existence, and all 18 bowlers together account for 62,280 copies in RBX Invest catalog data as of September 2026.
Quick answer: There are 18 Roblox-made bowler Limiteds. Ten were sold with a hard stock cap, and eight sat off-sale for years before Roblox flipped them to Limited in 2022. Copy count explains almost every price in the family: the four bowlers under 600 copies all sit above 13,000 R$ RAP, while the three with the most copies all sit under 1,700 R$.

What is the Roblox bowler series? A Roblox-made hat line that ran from 2010 to 2017
A bowler is the round-topped, short-brimmed hat your avatar wears pulled down over its face. Roblox treated it as a shape to reskin, which is why the family stretches across seven years of holidays, sale events and art styles without ever having a single launch moment.
Some of the bowlers belong to other families too. The Roblox Wiki documents a Patch Bowler sub-series of bowlers decorated with sticker patches, which pulls in the Winter Bowler, the Aluminum Recycled Bowler and the Piano Man Bowler alongside several hats that never went Limited. The two Kilty McJig bowlers belong to Roblox's St. Patrick's Day releases. Other bowlers are the bowler-shaped entry in a bigger line, and those have their own deep dives: the Sparkle Time series, the 8-Bit series, the Omega Rainbow series and the Adurite series.
Roblox also published bowlers that never had a stock cap, including the Red Bowler, the Neon Transparent Bowler and the Lily Bowler. Those carry no copy count and no resale market, so they sit outside every table on this page.
Every Roblox bowler Limited ranked by RAP
RAP stands for Recent Average Price. It is a smoothed average of an item's sale history, and each new sale drags it one tenth of the way toward that sale price, so it moves slowly. The lowest ask is the cheapest copy a reseller has listed right now, and on thin items it can sit far away from RAP. What RAP measures goes through the formula properly.
| Bowler | RAP (R$) | Copies | Lowest ask (R$) | Launch price (R$) | Year |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 85,045 | 270 | 265,000 | 5,000 | 2016 | |

Which bowler Limited is worth the most? The Blue Sparkle Time Bowler, at 85,045 R$
The Blue Sparkle Time Bowler sold for 5,000 R$ during Roblox's Midnight Sale in June 2016, on a timer that left it purchasable for roughly a day. The Roblox Wiki's item page records 274 purchases before it left sale, and our catalog data shows 270 copies surviving today. It became a Limited in August 2022.
Two things put it on top. It is the only bowler under 300 copies, and it carries the Sparkle Time name, which is the most recognizable brand Roblox ever attached to a hat. Demand for anything Sparkle Time comes from a much larger pool of collectors than demand for a bowler does, and you can see the rest of that family on the Sparkle Time collection.
Its lowest ask sits at 265,000 R$, roughly three times its RAP. Sales happen rarely enough that RAP is still remembering old trades while the few people holding copies price for today.
Why is the Notable Bowler the family's biggest multiple?
The Notable Bowler cost 175 R$ in November 2012. Its RAP today is 23,315 R$, about 133 times what buyers paid for it, which is the largest multiple in the family by a wide margin.
The reason is that nobody treated 175 R$ as an investment in 2012. It was a cheap musical-themed hat that went off-sale in July 2013, and it then sat in inventories for nine years doing nothing. Roblox converted it to Limited in October 2022, per its wiki page, and a hat that had never had a resale market suddenly had its 303 surviving copies chasing years of pent-up collector interest. Its floor now sits at 40,000 R$.
Which bowlers were sold with a stock cap, and which were converted later?
Ten of the 18 launched as Limited U items. Limited U, short for limited unique, means Roblox sold a fixed number of copies with a serial number stamped on each one, and once stock ran out the only source was another player. Those ten are Kilty McJig's Irish Bowler, Kilty McJig's Irish Bowler 2011, the Winter Bowler, the Aluminum Recycled Bowler, the International Bowler, the Piano Man Bowler, the Neon Lights Bowler and Mustache, the Cardboard Bowler, the Omega Rainbow Bowler and the Adurite Bowler.
The other eight were ordinary catalog hats that went off-sale and were flipped to Limited later, almost all of them during Roblox's 2022 wave of conversions: the Notable Bowler, the Happy Time Magic Flower Bowler, the Disco Time Bowler, the 8-Bit Rainbow Bowler, the Purple Bowler, the Blue Sparkle Time Bowler, the Summer Bowler and the Mischief Bowler. Copies of those have no serial numbers, because Roblox counted whoever already owned one and stopped there.
For how the two labels differ in practice, see Limited versus Limited U, and for the mechanics of the conversion wave, off-sale items going Limited.
Why do some bowlers cost 85,000 R$ and others under 600 R$? Copy count
Line the family up by copies and the price ladder is almost perfectly clean:
- Under 600 copies: Blue Sparkle Time, Notable, Disco Time, Neon Lights. All four sit above 13,000 R$ RAP.
- Between 900 and 2,400 copies: eleven bowlers, all between 1,700 R$ and 9,800 R$.
- Over 9,000 copies: Happy Time Magic Flower, Summer, Adurite. All three under 1,700 R$.
Launch price barely matters. The Winter Bowler cost 1,000 R$ and the Cardboard Bowler cost 250 R$, and with 965 and 1,000 copies respectively they trade within 500 R$ of each other today. The copy count is what today's price follows.
Adurite Bowler: 20,018 copies and a floor above its launch price
The Adurite Bowler breaks the pattern. It has 20,018 copies, the largest stock in the family, and it still trades above the Happy Time Magic Flower Bowler and roughly three times the Summer Bowler, which both have fewer copies. Its floor of 1,799 R$ also sits above its 1,000 R$ launch price, which almost never happens on a hat with five-figure stock.
Favorites tell you why. The Adurite Bowler has been favorited 23,423 times, more than three times any other bowler in the family, and the Adurite name carries its own following across swords, armor and hats. Enough players want a specific look that 20,000 copies are not enough to satisfy them.
What do the lowest asks say about liquidity?
Comparing a bowler's floor against its RAP tells you how easily you could actually sell one. A floor close to RAP means copies change hands often and the price is real. A floor several times RAP means the last recorded sale is old news.
| Bowler | RAP (R$) | Lowest ask (R$) | Ask vs RAP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6,349 | 50,000 | 7.9x | |
| 85,045 | 265,000 | 3.1x | |
| 18,991 | 38,000 | 2.0x | |
| 1,636 | 1,799 | 1.1x | |
| 522 | 549 | 1.1x |
The Aluminum Recycled Bowler is the extreme case. Its RAP of 6,349 R$ reflects trades that may be a long way back, while the cheapest listed copy asks 50,000 R$. Do not plan around either number on its own there. On the cheap end, the Summer Bowler and the Adurite Bowler both list within a few percent of RAP, and you can buy either right now at a price that means something.
Are Roblox bowler Limiteds worth buying in 2026? A collector's outlook
The honest read is that bowlers are a mid-tier classic family with one gem at the top. A gem is a scarce, high-value Limited that collectors chase on its own merits, and the Blue Sparkle Time Bowler qualifies on 270 copies plus the Sparkle Time name. Nothing else in the family is close to that tier.
If you want an entry into classic hats without spending much, the bottom of this family is one of the cheaper ways in. The Summer Bowler at a 549 R$ floor and the Happy Time Magic Flower Bowler at 1,248 R$ are both real Roblox-made Limiteds from the 2010s, and they list right at RAP, so you are not paying a scarcity premium you cannot get back. Browse similar price bands on Limiteds under 1,000 R$.
If you are buying in the middle of the family, the sub-1,000-copy bowlers from 2011 to 2017, be patient about the exit. Those items have wide gaps between RAP and the asking price, and a wide gap usually means few buyers. Remember that Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee when you resell a classic Limited, so you keep 70% of the sale price and need roughly 1.43 times your cost to break even. Signed-in members can watch for underpriced listings on the Deals feed.
None of this is financial advice. Classic Limited prices move on collector sentiment, and a hat that has been flat for four years can stay flat for another four.

FAQ
How many Roblox bowler Limiteds are there?
There are 18 Roblox-made bowler Limiteds, published between March 2010 and October 2017. Ten launched as Limited U items with a fixed stock cap, and eight were ordinary catalog hats that Roblox converted to Limited later, almost all of them in 2022.
What is the most valuable Roblox bowler?
The Blue Sparkle Time Bowler, at 85,045 R$ RAP with 270 copies. It sold for 5,000 R$ during the Midnight Sale in June 2016 and became a Limited in August 2022. Its lowest listed copy currently asks 265,000 R$.
What is the cheapest Roblox bowler Limited?
The Summer Bowler, with a lowest ask of 549 R$ and a RAP of 522 R$. It has 15,180 copies, the second-largest stock in the family, which is why it trades for a fraction of what the scarce bowlers do.
Which bowler has gained the most since release?
The Notable Bowler. It sold for 175 R$ in November 2012 and carries a RAP of 23,315 R$ today, roughly 133 times its launch price. Only 303 copies exist, and it had no resale market at all until Roblox made it a Limited in October 2022.
Why is the Adurite Bowler worth more than bowlers with fewer copies?
Demand. It has 20,018 copies, more than any other bowler, but 23,423 favorites, more than three times the next bowler in the family. The Adurite look has a following across several item types, and that steady interest holds its floor at 1,799 R$, above its 1,000 R$ launch price.
Can you trade Roblox bowler Limiteds?
Yes. Every bowler in this family was published by Roblox, and classic Roblox-made Limiteds can be traded player to player as well as resold. Both sides of a trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a classic Limited is locked for two days after a trade and seven days after a resale purchase.
Does RAP tell you what a bowler is actually worth?
Not on the scarce ones. RAP moves one tenth of the way toward each new sale, so on a bowler that sells a few times a year it lags badly. The Aluminum Recycled Bowler shows the problem clearly: 6,349 R$ RAP against a 50,000 R$ lowest ask. On the high-copy bowlers, where sales are frequent, RAP and the floor sit within about ten percent of each other.
Are there bowler hats on Roblox that are not Limited?
Yes. The Red Bowler, the Neon Transparent Bowler and the Lily Bowler were published by Roblox without a stock cap, so they have no copy count and no resale market. They are part of the family's history but they never developed collector value the way the capped releases did.
