Roblox 2007 Halloween Limiteds: Values and History

Roblox's 2007 Halloween run left eight classic Limiteds, led by the 34-copy Eerie Pumpkin Head at 2,275,664 RAP. Copies, values and how each was won.

Roblox's 2007 Halloween run produced eight hats that are classic Limiteds today, and the one at the top is the Eerie Pumpkin Head, a building-contest prize with 34 copies in existence and a RAP of 2,275,664. A Limited is an avatar item that exists in a fixed number of copies and can be resold between players, and a classic Limited is one Roblox built itself. RAP means recent average price, Roblox's smoothed average of an item's entire sale history. Every hat in this class shares one quirk: none of them launched as a Limited, because Roblox had no resale market in 2007.

Quick answer: Roblox published nine Halloween items in October 2007, and eight of them are classic Limiteds now, holding 16,547 copies between them. The Eerie Pumpkin Head leads at 2,275,664 RAP on 34 copies, The Crimson Catseye follows at 208,244 RAP on 226 copies, and the cheapest copy in the whole class is a Halloween Santa Hat listed at 5,392 R$. The ninth item, the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head, never got the Limited tag.

Which Roblox Halloween items came out in 2007? Eight Limiteds, ordered by what traders pay

Copies, RAP and the lowest ask below come from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026, with the rows ordered by what traders actually pay for each hat. The lowest ask is the cheapest copy a player currently has listed for sale. Browse the wider family on the classic hats collection.

Item Copies RAP Lowest ask Published How you got one
Eerie Pumpkin Head 34 2,275,664 44,500,000 R$ Oct 5 Spooky Building Contest prize
The Crimson Catseye 226 208,244 485,000 R$ Oct 31 Treasure hunt prize, or 50,000 Tix
The Necrobloxicon 976 57,970 94,000 R$ Oct 24 1,111 Tix or 1,111 Robux
The Bluesteel Bathelm 3,062 36,657 35,000 R$ Oct 15 Costume Party prize, or 1,031 Robux
Halloween Lorebook One 1,179 12,397 14,438 R$ Oct 30 15 Robux, later 15 Tix
Emerald Eye 5,662 7,218 6,800 R$ Oct 25 45 Robux
Mandrake Root 3,255 6,029 5,998 R$ Oct 30 333 Tix for one day
Halloween Santa Hat 2,153 3,657 5,392 R$ Oct 17 400 Tix, later 100 Robux

Tix is short for Tickets, the second currency Roblox ran alongside Robux until 2016. Several of these hats cost Tickets at launch, which is why their Robux launch prices look odd or missing in catalog records. Publication dates and original Ticket prices here come from the Roblox Wiki's catalog pages, and our own catalog's asset timestamps agree with them within a day.

The copy counts are the headline. Roblox was tiny in 2007, so a hat that sold all month still ended up with a few thousand owners, and a hat handed out by hand ended up with dozens. That spread is the whole reason this class behaves the way it does.

What is the Eerie Pumpkin Head worth? 2,275,664 RAP on 34 copies

Eerie Pumpkin Head

The Eerie Pumpkin Head is a black pumpkin with a green glow inside, and it was never sold. Roblox gave it to winners of the Spooky Building Contest, which ran from September 11 to October 3, 2007, and asked players to build something scary. The Roblox Wiki documents 33 copies handed out across the contest's categories. Our catalog counts 34 in existence today, and Roblox's own item data agrees.

That makes it a gem, the word collectors use for a scarce item that sits far above the rest of its class in price. It also makes it nearly untradeable in practice. With 34 copies spread across accounts that mostly stopped logging in a decade ago, months can pass without a sale, so the RAP you see is an average anchored to old trades. Trader consensus on the hat's street value sits well above that RAP, and well below the single 44,500,000 R$ ask sitting on its resale page. One ask on a 34-copy item tells you what one owner hopes for.

If you are hunting items at this rarity, the fewest-copies collection and the rarest Limiteds collection rank every Limited under 100 copies live.

How did people get The Crimson Catseye? The 2007 Halloween Treasure Hunt

The Crimson Catseye

The Crimson Catseye has the best story in the class. Roblox published it on October 31, 2007, and ran a short, barely announced event around it: players had to own Halloween Lorebook One, find the lorebooks hidden around a haunted map, and message the event account with a code word to claim the eye. The Roblox Wiki's page on the 2007 Halloween Treasure Hunt records that the hunt was open only to Builders Club members, Roblox's old paid membership, because the lorebook itself was a Builders Club purchase. Roughly 151 players finished it, by the wiki's count.

Anyone who missed the hunt could buy the eye for 50,000 Tickets while it was on sale. Almost nobody did, and the result is 226 copies. The eye also reuses the same mesh as the Emerald Eye from six days earlier, which is why the two look like the same eyeball in different colors. Both belong to the family covered in our Eye series history.

The Crimson Catseye's lowest ask of 485,000 R$ is a little over double its RAP, and here too trader consensus sits above the RAP. Thin markets drag RAP downward: every sale pulls the average only a tenth of the way toward the new price, so one cheap trade from years ago still weighs on the number today. Our guide to reading RAP walks through that formula.

Which 2007 Halloween Limiteds can a normal trader afford? Six of the eight sit under 100,000 R$

Below the two leaders, this class is cheap and surprisingly easy to buy.

The Necrobloxicon is the interesting one. It is a black spellbook that cost 1,111 Tickets, and it carries the lore Roblox wrote about 1x1x1x1, the platform's homemade boogeyman. Community records say its original description told of an entity imprisoned at the dawn of time, which is where most of the 1x1x1x1 myth came from. At 976 copies it is the cheapest of the three items in this class with fewer than 1,000 copies, and its lowest ask is 94,000 R$.

The Bluesteel Bathelm is a bat-winged helmet that started the entire Bluesteel texture family, covered in our Bluesteel series history. Roblox gave 79 copies to winners of the 2007 Costume Party, a contest judged on real-life Halloween costumes, and 35 runners-up got a Jester's Cap instead. The helmet then sold for 1,031 Robux each October through 2009, which is how it reached 3,062 copies. It also sits inside the top 20 classic Limiteds by favorites, with 210,582 favorites against 36,657 RAP. Plenty of players love the look without ever paying for a copy.

Halloween Lorebook One, Emerald Eye, Mandrake Root and the Halloween Santa Hat all list between roughly 5,000 and 15,000 R$. Mandrake Root sold for 333 Tickets for a single day and still ended with 3,255 copies, which tells you how many people were shopping that week. For anything in this price band, the cheap Limiteds collection and the Deals feed, which needs a signed-in account, will surface a listing faster than browsing the catalog will.

Is the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head a Limited? No, so it has no RAP

Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head

The ninth item of October 2007 is the one most players actually own. Roblox published the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head on October 4, 2007, then put it back on sale every October for a decade at 250 Robux. The wiki records more than 210,000 purchases before 2025, and a one-day return on November 27, 2025, at 2,500 Robux. Roblox's item data lists it as off sale now, with no Limited flag.

No Limited flag means no fixed supply, no serial number on your copy, no resale page and no RAP. You cannot buy it from another player at any price, and you cannot sell the one you own. The only route in is Roblox putting it on sale again, which our sale events explainer covers. Its Limited sibling from the next day is worth millions, while the pumpkin anybody could buy has no market price at all. Both outcomes trace back to the same decision about supply.

Should you buy a 2007 Halloween Limited? Treat the cheap ones as collectibles and the top two as rare art

Nothing here is a fast flip. Roblox's marketplace documentation puts a 30% platform cut on marketplace sales, so a classic Limited that resells for 10,000 R$ leaves the seller about 7,000 R$, and you need roughly a 1.43x price move to get your Robux back. The documentation also sets a holding period of up to 30 days after you buy a Limited before it can be resold again; for classic hats bought from a reseller that hold runs seven days, and two days after a trade.

Trading suits this class better, and Roblox's documentation is explicit that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, which every item on this page is. Both sides of a trade need an active Roblox Plus subscription.

What holds these hats up is that supply cannot grow. Nobody can mint another 2007 hat, the old accounts holding them keep going inactive, and Halloween demand comes back every October. What works against them is attention: a textbook-mesh spellbook from 2007 means nothing to a player who joined in 2024. The cheap end of this class has stayed cheap for years, so buy there because you like the hat. The top two have the opposite problem, where you can wait a year for a copy to be listed at a price a human would pay.

Our 2008 Halloween breakdown covers the next run, and the Halloween rarity rankings compare every Halloween class side by side. None of this is financial advice, and Robux you put into Limiteds can lose value.

FAQ

What was Roblox's first Halloween event?

Roblox's first Halloween activity ran in 2007 across three events: the Spooky Building Contest from September 11 to October 3, the Costume Party from October 5 to November 1, and the Halloween Treasure Hunt on October 29 to 31. Each one handed out a hat: the building contest awarded the Eerie Pumpkin Head, the Costume Party the Bluesteel Bathelm, and the treasure hunt the Crimson Catseye.

How many 2007 Halloween Limiteds are there?

Eight. Roblox published nine Halloween items in October 2007, and eight carry the Limited tag today: Eerie Pumpkin Head, The Crimson Catseye, The Necrobloxicon, The Bluesteel Bathelm, Halloween Lorebook One, Emerald Eye, Mandrake Root and the Halloween Santa Hat. The ninth, the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head, was sold in unlimited numbers and never became a Limited.

What is the rarest 2007 Halloween item?

The Eerie Pumpkin Head, with 34 copies in existence. It was a Spooky Building Contest prize that Roblox never sold, and the Roblox Wiki documents only 33 copies handed out at the time. Its RAP is 2,275,664, roughly ten times the next item in the class.

Were the 2007 Halloween items Limiteds when they launched?

No. Roblox had no resale market in 2007, so these hats were ordinary catalog items that simply went off sale. The Limited tag and player-to-player resale arrived in October 2009, and seven of the eight were converted that month. The Bluesteel Bathelm waited until October 2010, because Roblox kept selling it each October until then.

Why is the Eerie Pumpkin Head listed at 44,500,000 R$?

Because one owner picked that number and nobody has to accept it. With 34 copies and barely any sale history to go on, there is no steady stream of buyers setting a price, so a single ask can sit far above both the item's RAP and what traders would actually pay. A price like that is one seller's asking price.

Can you still get the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head?

Only if Roblox sells it again. The hat has no Limited tag, which means no resale page and no way to buy it from another player. Roblox last offered it on November 27, 2025, for 2,500 Robux during a one-day sale, and Roblox's item data shows it off sale now.

How much does a cheap 2007 Halloween Limited cost?

Around 5,000 to 15,000 R$ as of October 2026. The Halloween Santa Hat had the lowest ask in the class at 5,392 R$, with Mandrake Root at 5,998 R$, Emerald Eye at 6,800 R$ and Halloween Lorebook One at 14,438 R$. Those four hold between 1,179 and 5,662 copies each, so listings are usually available.

Do 2007 Halloween Limiteds go up in October?

Some movement shows up in October, and it is strongest on the thin, low-copy items. Hats with thousands of copies, like the Emerald Eye and Mandrake Root, barely react, because there is always another copy listed. Our guide to Halloween price seasonality covers what the pattern looks like across years.
