UGC Fedora Prices on Roblox: RAP, Copies and Asks

UGC fedora prices on Roblox: the median UGC Limited fedora has a RAP of 131 R$, and only 27 of the 2,465 tracked reach 10,000 R$.

Roblox UGC fedora prices run from a couple of hundred Robux up to 195,000 Robux, and almost all of them sit at the cheap end. RBX Invest tracks 2,465 UGC Limited fedoras, meaning player-made fedoras released in a fixed number of copies, and the middle one carries a RAP of 131 R$. Only 27 reach a RAP of 10,000 R$ or more. The highest belongs to the Elegant Black Ornate Fedora at 195,000 R$, and exactly one copy of it was ever made.

Quick answer: The median UGC Limited fedora on Roblox has a RAP of 131 R$, and only 27 of the 2,465 in the RBX Invest catalog reach 10,000 R$. The top of that list is almost entirely one-copy items whose RAP still matches the price the creator charged for the first sale.

What is a UGC fedora on Roblox? A player-made fedora with a fixed copy count

A Limited is an avatar item Roblox stops selling after a set number of copies, after which the only way to get one is to buy it from another player. A classic Limited is one Roblox made itself. A UGC Limited is one a community creator made, and Roblox opened that door in April 2023.

Two numbers describe every one of them. Copies is the total print, the number of copies that will ever exist. RAP, short for Recent Average Price, is Roblox's smoothed average of an item's past sale prices: each new sale moves it by a tenth of the distance between the old RAP and that sale price. A single sale therefore nudges RAP by a small amount.

The fedora has carried status on Roblox since the classic era, which is why creators keep making them. You can see the whole shelf, classic and UGC together, on the fedora collection page, and every player-made Limited hat ranked on the UGC Limited hats collection.

How much are UGC fedoras worth? The median RAP is 131 R$

Half of the 2,465 UGC Limited fedoras we track have a RAP of 131 R$ or less. That is the honest headline. Creators have published thousands of them, most in prints of hundreds or thousands of copies, and plentiful supply keeps prices close to what the creator first charged, or below it.

The earliest one in our catalog shows the pattern. The Blue Castle Genesis Fedora carries a creation date of April 5, 2023, the same week UGC Limiteds went live. It was printed in 1,000 copies at 500 R$. Today its RAP is 183 R$ and its cheapest copy asks 170 R$, roughly a third of what buyers paid at launch.

Scarcity is what separates the 27 fedoras at 10,000 R$ or more from the other 2,438. Every one of them was printed in 100 copies or fewer, and 20 of the 27 in fewer than 25.

Which UGC fedora has the highest RAP? The Elegant Black Ornate Fedora, at 195,000 R$

Elegant Black Ornate Fedora

The eight highest-RAP UGC fedoras in the RBX Invest catalog, highest first. "None listed" means Roblox reports no copy for sale at any price.

Item Copies RAP Lowest ask Creator's launch price
Elegant Black Ornate Fedora 1 195,000 R$ 500,000 R$ 195,000 R$
Elegant Gold & Black Ornate Fedora 1 150,000 R$ None listed 150,000 R$
Elegant White Ornate Fedora 1 98,000 R$ None listed 98,000 R$
Elegant Red Ornate Fedora 1 98,000 R$ None listed 98,000 R$
Elegant Pink Ornate Fedora 1 98,000 R$ None listed 98,000 R$
Elegant Midnight Ornate Fedora 1 90,700 R$ None listed 98,000 R$
Yin Yang Fedora 2 50,000 R$ 50,000 R$ 50,000 R$
Elegant Black & Teal Ornate Fedora 5 29,500 R$ 50,000 R$ 29,500 R$

Six of those eight are single copies. Seven of the eight have a RAP identical to the creator's launch price, and the eighth sits 7% below it.

Empyror built most of the top of this market

Empyror

Seven of the eight items above came from one creator, Empyror, whose Ornate Fedora line now runs to 24 entries. The prints got smaller as the prices climbed. Empyror's first fedoras were the Genesis set in April 2023, 1,000 and 5,000-copy runs at 99 to 500 R$. By that June the Ornate shape was going out in prints of one, five and ten copies at 14,500 to 195,000 R$. In August 2025 six re-textured one-copy versions followed, labelled [PBR] in their names, and none has recorded a sale yet.

You can check any creator's record the same way before a launch, using the creators leaderboard.

Why a one-copy UGC fedora's RAP tells you nothing

Look again at the launch price column. The Elegant Black Ornate Fedora has a RAP of 195,000 R$ and launched at 195,000 R$. The Gold & Black sits at 150,000 R$ and launched at 150,000 R$. Three more sit at exactly 98,000 R$ against a 98,000 R$ launch price.

That happens because RAP starts from the first sale. When a creator prints one copy, sells it once, and no one ever resells it, the RAP stays frozen at whatever the creator decided to charge. A creator who prints a single hat and prices it at 500,000 R$ would produce a 500,000 R$ RAP the moment one person buys it. No second buyer has to agree.

The Elegant Midnight Ornate Fedora shows the other side. It launched at 98,000 R$ and its RAP has slipped to 90,700 R$, which means at least one sale happened below the launch price. That one item has a trading history. The five one-copy versions frozen at their launch price do not.

So on any UGC Limited with a tiny print, read the copy count first and the RAP second. Our wider piece on one-copy UGC Limiteds puts a number on how rare an actual sale is in that tier, and what RAP measures covers the formula in full.

Which UGC fedoras can you actually buy? The ones with 5 copies or more

A price you cannot buy at is not much use. These are the ten highest-RAP UGC fedoras with at least 5 copies and a live listing, so each row is something a buyer could act on today.

Item Copies RAP Lowest ask Launch price
Elegant Black & Teal Ornate Fedora 5 29,500 R$ 50,000 R$ 29,500 R$
Elegant Maroon & Gold Ornate Fedora 10 19,208 R$ 50,000 R$ 14,500 R$
Black Reapers Fedora 25 17,793 R$ 10,000 R$ 5,000 R$
Pastel Fedora 25 15,836 R$ 12,800 R$ 5,000 R$
Purple Reapers Fedora 10 15,751 R$ 19,999 R$ 5,000 R$
Elegant Brown & Gold Ornate Fedora 15 14,445 R$ 50,000 R$ 9,500 R$
Dark Blue Shiny Fedora 25 13,965 R$ 50,000 R$ 3,000 R$
Caramel Fedora 5 13,786 R$ 22,222 R$ 4,000 R$
Black Valk Fedora 99 12,801 R$ 350,000 R$ 199 R$
Galactic Fedora 25 9,640 R$ 14,500 R$ 5,000 R$

Two rows are listed below RAP right now. The Black Reapers Fedora asks 10,000 R$ against a 17,793 R$ RAP, and the Pastel Fedora asks 12,800 R$ against 15,836 R$. Several others ask well above RAP, and one asks 27 times it.

How did the Reapers Fedora set price itself? Supply did most of the work

Red Reapers Fedora

The Reapers Fedora set, published by TypeDummy on April 27, 2023, is a clean example of supply setting price. Five colours went out the same day in different print sizes.

The Red Reapers Fedora had 5 copies at 5,000 R$ and now holds a 20,601 R$ RAP. The Purple Reapers Fedora had 10 copies at 5,000 R$ and sits at 15,751 R$. The Blue Reapers Fedora had 25 copies at 4,750 R$ and sits at 10,060 R$. The Green Reapers Fedora had 100 copies at 1,000 R$ and sits at 2,624 R$, with a copy asking 1,799 R$.

Same artist, same shape, same launch day. The 5-copy version is worth roughly eight times the 100-copy version. The Black Reapers Fedora breaks the ladder slightly, holding 17,793 R$ on 25 copies, which is above the 10-copy purple one. Black tends to be the colour collectors pay up for on a fedora, and that preference looks strong enough here to outweigh 15 extra copies.

Can you trade UGC fedoras on Roblox? No, resale only

Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable. Every UGC fedora changes hands through a Marketplace resale, where the owner lists a copy for Robux and a buyer pays the asking price. There is no way to swap one for a classic Limited in the trade window.

Three rules shape that market, all from Roblox's own documentation:

  • A holding period after you buy. Roblox applies a holding period of up to 30 days before a Limited can be resold. A copy bought from the creator at launch carries the full 30 days, and a copy bought from another player carries 7. The holding periods guide has the detail.
  • You keep half. Roblox splits a community-created Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox. Buy a fedora at 10,000 R$ and you need to sell at 20,000 R$ to break even. The full breakdown is on Roblox's marketplace fees page.
  • An active Roblox Plus subscription to sell. The seller needs one. The buyer of a resale does not. Roblox also caps purchases at three copies of one Limited per account, and community-created Limited resales are unavailable to accounts based in Japan.

If you own copies and want to price them, the reseller tools show where your listing sits in the queue for each item.

Developer Sparkletime Fedora and the name-alike problem

Developer Sparkletime Fedora

The classic Sparkle Time Fedoras are Roblox's own, and they live in a different world: the Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora holds a RAP of 11,328,842 R$ across 100 copies, and the original Sparkle Time Fedora holds 3,242,116 R$ across 765. The whole family is on the Sparkle Time collection page and in our Sparkle Time series history.

The Developer Sparkletime Fedora is a UGC item from a different creator that borrowed the name. It was printed in 25 copies at 1,000 R$, holds a 10,842 R$ RAP, and has no copy listed today. It is a real Limited with real owners. The lesson is to check who published an item before you judge what family it belongs to, because every classic Sparkle Time came from the Roblox account itself. We cover the pattern in fake Limiteds and name squatting.

How do you buy a UGC fedora without overpaying?

Four checks, in order.

  1. Read the copy count before the RAP. One-copy and two-copy items have RAPs that one person set. Prints of 25 to 100 copies have RAPs that many sales built.
  2. Compare the lowest ask with the RAP. The Black Valk Fedora asks 350,000 R$ on a 12,801 R$ RAP, which is 27 times the RAP. An ask far above RAP with no sales behind it is a projected item, a listing priced at a number nobody has paid. Our guide to projected items explains how the pattern works.
  3. Do the fee math before you buy. Half of your sale price goes to fees, so your resale has to double your cost just to get your Robux back.
  4. Watch for asks that fall below RAP. The Deals feed, which needs a signed-in account, tracks listings priced under RAP across both Classic and UGC Limiteds, and the items leaderboard lets you screen the broader market by RAP, copies and growth.

My own read on this corner of the market: the 5-to-25-copy UGC fedoras with a trading history are the interesting tier, and the one-copy headline items are mostly a creator's own asking price wearing a RAP label. A 195,000 R$ RAP on a single hat that has never been resold is a statement about one purchase.

This is market commentary and not financial advice. Limited prices move, and a five-copy market can swing hard on a single sale.

Copy counts, RAP figures, launch prices and lowest asks in this article come from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 11, 2026, with the items showing no resale price re-checked the same day against Roblox's own item data; the resale split, holding period, trade eligibility, purchase caps and the Japan restriction come from Roblox's marketplace documentation.

FAQ

How much is a UGC fedora worth on Roblox?

Most are worth a few hundred Robux. The median UGC Limited fedora in the RBX Invest catalog has a RAP of 131 R$, 403 of the 2,465 reach 1,000 R$, and only 27 reach 10,000 R$. The expensive ones were all printed in 100 copies or fewer.

Which UGC fedora has the highest RAP?

The Elegant Black Ornate Fedora, at a RAP of 195,000 R$. It was published by Empyror in June 2023 as a single copy priced at 195,000 R$, and the only copy is currently listed at 500,000 R$.

Can you trade UGC fedoras on Roblox?

No. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so a UGC fedora can only change hands through a Marketplace resale where a buyer pays Robux for a listed copy.

How much do you keep when you resell a UGC fedora?

Half the sale price. Roblox splits a community-created Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so a copy bought at 10,000 R$ needs to sell at 20,000 R$ to break even.

Why does a one-copy UGC fedora show a huge RAP?

Because RAP starts from the first sale, and on a one-copy item that first sale is the creator's own asking price. Seven of the top eight UGC fedoras have a RAP that still matches their launch price exactly, which means no resale has ever moved them.

How long before you can resell a UGC fedora you just bought?

Roblox applies a holding period of up to 30 days. Buying from the creator at launch carries the full 30 days, and buying a copy from another player carries 7 days. You also need an active Roblox Plus subscription on the selling account.

Are UGC fedoras worth as much as Sparkle Time Fedoras?

No, and the gap is large. The Midnight Blue Sparkle Time Fedora holds a RAP of 11,328,842 R$ across 100 copies, while the highest-RAP UGC fedora sits at 195,000 R$. Classic Limiteds carry nearly twenty years of history that player-made items from 2023 onward cannot match yet.

Why is a UGC fedora listed far above its RAP?

Because the owner wants a number nobody has paid. The Black Valk Fedora, printed in 99 copies at 199 R$, holds a 12,801 R$ RAP and has its cheapest copy listed at 350,000 R$. Asks like that keep an item technically for sale while the owner waits for an offer. The RAP alongside the recent sales is the figure to trust.
