Roblox Banana Limiteds: Prices, Copies and History

Roblox has 252 banana Limiteds. The 99-copy Banana leads trading at a 272,770 R$ RAP, and a one-copy banana tops the list at 1,042,069 R$.

Roblox has 252 Limiteds with "banana" in the name, and only two of them were made by Roblox. A Limited is an item released in a fixed number of copies that owners can resell to each other. The most valuable banana you can actually buy today is the Banana, a 99-copy shoulder accessory from the opening day of UGC Limiteds in April 2023, with a RAP of 272,770 R$ and a cheapest listed copy asking 300,000 R$. The biggest number in the family sits on the one-copy whosetrade autographed banana at 1,042,069 R$, and no copy of that one is for sale at any price.

Quick answer: RBX Invest tracks 252 banana Limiteds on Roblox, 250 of them player-made and 2 published by Roblox in 2010. The 99-copy Banana is the family's real market at a 272,770 R$ RAP, and the one-copy whosetrade autographed banana carries the highest RAP at 1,042,069 R$ with nothing listed behind it.

Item Type Copies RAP Lowest ask
whosetrade autographed banana UGC Limited 1 1,042,069 R$ None listed
Banana UGC Limited 99 272,770 R$ 300,000 R$
Dancing Banana Classic Limited 2,398 14,604 R$ 13,999 R$
Banana Crown Classic Limited U 904 6,887 R$ 6,999 R$

Two bits of vocabulary before the history. RAP is short for recent average price, Roblox's smoothed average of an item's sale history, and the formula is new RAP = old RAP + (sale price − old RAP) / 10, so one sale only pulls the number a tenth of the way toward itself. The lowest ask, also called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy any owner has listed for resale right now. Both of those matter here, because most of the expensive bananas have sold exactly once.

What is the Banana on Roblox and why is it worth 272,770 R$?

Banana

The Banana launched on April 5, 2023, the day Roblox opened UGC Limiteds to creators. A UGC Limited is a player-made item released in a fixed number of copies, while the classic Limiteds are the older ones Roblox made itself. Its creator, Preston_Username, listed 99 copies at 690 Robux each. Today its RAP is 272,770 R$ and the cheapest copy on the Marketplace asks 300,000 R$, about 435 times that launch price.

Two things carried it. It was there on day one, so it belongs to the first class of UGC Limiteds, and the joke landed: 18,812 players have favorited it. Favorites alone don't make a price, and the Banana Cat further down this page is proof of that.

Only 14 UGC Limiteds in the whole catalog carry a higher RAP than the Banana, which is strange company for a shoulder accessory that cost 690 Robux at launch.

Did Roblox make banana Limiteds before UGC? Two, both from 2010

Dancing Banana

Item Published Original price Copies RAP Lowest ask
Dancing Banana June 2010 115 R$ 2,398 14,604 R$ 13,999 R$
Banana Crown March 2010 180 R$ 904 6,887 R$ 6,999 R$

The Dancing Banana is a 3D take on the old dancing-banana meme, and its description ("He knows what time it is. Do you?") winks at the song that meme travelled with. The Roblox Wiki dates its release to June 6, 2010 at 115 Robux, and it sat on sale for a few weeks before converting to a Limited at the end of that month. A normal catalog hat going Limited once it leaves sale is why its copy count is an odd 2,398. Its floor also sits 605 R$ under its RAP, which is what a healthy two-sided market looks like. Roblox later gave it two siblings, the Dancing Strawberry and the Dancing Apple, in the Dancing Fruit series.

The Banana Crown came first, in March 2010 at 180 Robux, and it is a Limited U, meaning each of its 904 copies carries its own serial number. At an ask of 6,999 R$ it is the cheapest way into the classic side of this family. Browse the rest of the old catalog in classic hats.

Roblox made two non-Limited bananas as well. The Banana Peel from June 2010 is still buyable at 150 Robux, so it has no resale market, and the free Banana Peel Hat from January 2024 is off sale now. Neither carries a RAP.

Why do one-copy bananas show huge RAPs and no sales?

Between July 26 and October 27, 2023, the creator WhoseTrade published 23 Limiteds with a single copy each, 20 of them bananas. All of them sold out immediately, because one copy is all there was.

Here is the whole run. "None listed" means no copy is up for resale, which we re-checked against Roblox's own item data for every row that shows it.

Compare the two middle columns. On 19 of the 20, the RAP still matches the launch price to the Robux, which is what the number looks like when the first sale is the only sale. The prices were part of the bit, with the hacker banana at 13,337 and the autographed one at 1,042,069.

Five of the twenty have a copy listed, and each of those asks is one owner's own number. The diy banana's holder wants 1,000,000 R$ against a 21,634 R$ RAP, which is 46 times it. The drawing asks 888,888 R$ against 35,822 R$. Asks like that are a polite way of saying the item is a trophy, and the same pattern runs through the whole one-copy tier, from the rarest UGC Limiteds to the top of UGC fedora prices. A few owners go all the way and post the kind of ask that reaches into the billions.

So treat a six or seven-figure RAP on a one-copy item as a record of one purchase by one buyer. There is no second owner to buy from, no floor to check and no sale history to compare against. The rarest Limiteds collection is full of items sitting in exactly that spot.

Who makes Roblox's banana Limiteds?

Preston_Username

Preston_Username, a verified creator whose account dates back to 2011, made the Banana, the family's most valuable item with a copy actually for sale. WhoseTrade is the family's volume publisher, with 34 banana Limiteds in our catalog and that entire one-of-one run inside it. Past those two, bananas are a running joke the creator community keeps coming back to, which is how 250 of the 252 ended up player-made. The creators leaderboard shows who else is shipping items people chase.

What do the rest of Roblox's banana Limiteds cost? A few hundred Robux

Among the banana Limiteds with a sale on record, the middle one has a RAP of 275 R$. That is the real shape of this family: 252 items, 165 with any sale at all, 152 with a copy listed right now, and 23 with a RAP of 10,000 R$ or more. Supply is tight nearly everywhere, with 173 capped at 100 copies or fewer and 48 existing in a single copy.

The pixel banana and the Banana Boba Tea Cap are the two rows where the floor sits under the RAP, at 2,800 R$ against 5,553 R$ and 4,000 R$ against 4,457 R$. Most of the rest ask well above it, and the Freezin' Banana's only listing at 77,777,777,777 R$ is an owner with no intention of selling.

The last two rows are worth a minute. Banana Cat went out free in October 2024 with 32 copies, collected 49,064 favorites, the most of any banana Limited we track, and still has a RAP of only 469 R$ because almost nobody resells it. Its one listed copy asks 15,067 R$. Banana Coin was also free and went the opposite way with 250,000 copies, the most-printed banana Limited in the catalog, and it changes hands at 95 R$. Free Limiteds can end up scarce or endless, and the copy count tells you which long before the RAP does. For more of this price band, the collections for Limiteds under 1,000 R$ and Limiteds under 10,000 R$ are live-ranked, and the signed-in Deals feed flags copies listed below RAP as they appear.

Can you trade a banana Limited on Roblox? Only the two classics

Classic Limiteds can go through the official Trade window when both players hold an active Roblox Plus subscription, and anything you receive in a trade is locked for two days. UGC Limiteds cannot be traded at all, so every banana except the Dancing Banana and the Banana Crown moves only by resale. The classic versus UGC comparison covers the rest of those differences.

Selling one has its own math. Roblox's marketplace documentation splits a UGC Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so a UGC banana has to resell for twice what you paid before you break even. You wait out a holding period first: up to 30 days if you bought from the creator, up to 7 days if you bought a resale copy. Our UGC reselling guide covers the drop-day side of this, and the reseller terminal tracks where your listing sits in the queue.

This is market commentary and not financial advice. Thin markets like these swing hard on a single sale.

Are banana Limiteds worth collecting?

The Banana is the family's gem, our word for a scarce, high-value Limited. With 99 copies behind it and a cheapest ask within 10% of its RAP, it is the only banana above 100,000 R$ where a buyer and a seller are close to agreeing on a number. The Dancing Banana is the sensible entry point, with 2,398 copies and a floor just under its RAP, so you can buy it today and sell it later without waiting months for a bite. The Banana Crown hands you a serial-numbered classic for under 7,000 R$.

The one-copy tier is trophy territory. Those RAPs look enormous because somebody once paid a joke price for a joke item, and the holders willing to part with one are asking many multiples of that. If you want one, assume you are negotiating privately with a collector who does not need the Robux, and that selling it later works the same way in reverse. Live rankings for every item here sit on the items leaderboard and across the collections hub.

Copy counts, RAP figures, launch prices, favorites and lowest asks in this article come from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 11, 2026, re-checked the same day against Roblox's own item data for every row showing no resale price; the resale split and holding periods come from Roblox's marketplace documentation, and the 2010 release dates and meme history come from the Roblox Wiki.

FAQ

What is the most valuable Roblox banana Limited?

The whosetrade autographed banana holds the highest RAP of any banana Limited at 1,042,069 R$. One copy was ever made, it sold on October 27, 2023, and no copy is listed today, so that number records a single purchase by a single buyer.

How much is the Roblox Banana worth?

The 99-copy Banana by Preston_Username has a RAP of 272,770 R$, and its cheapest listed copy asks 300,000 R$. It launched at 690 Robux on April 5, 2023, so that ask is about 435 times the launch price.

Is the Dancing Banana a Limited?

Yes. Roblox published the Dancing Banana in June 2010 at 115 Robux as a regular catalog hat, and it converted to a Limited after it left sale, finishing at 2,398 copies. Its RAP is 14,604 R$ and the cheapest copy asks 13,999 R$.

What is the Banana Crown on Roblox?

The Banana Crown is a Limited U hat Roblox published in March 2010 at 180 Robux, with 904 copies that each carry their own serial number. Its RAP is 6,887 R$ and the cheapest listing asks 6,999 R$, which makes it the most affordable classic banana.

Can you trade banana Limiteds on Roblox?

Only the two classics. The Dancing Banana and the Banana Crown can go through the official Trade window if both players have an active Roblox Plus subscription, and the item is locked for two days afterward. Every player-made banana is a UGC Limited, and UGC Limiteds can only be bought and resold on the Marketplace.

Why do so many banana Limiteds show no price?

Because no owner has a copy listed. A Limited shows a lowest ask only while at least one copy is up for resale, and 100 of the 252 banana Limiteds have no listing at all right now. One-copy items are the extreme case, since a single owner decides whether a market exists.

How many banana Limiteds are there on Roblox?

RBX Invest tracks 252 Limiteds with "banana" in the name: 250 player-made UGC Limiteds and 2 classics Roblox published in 2010. Of those, 165 have ever recorded a sale, 48 exist in a single copy, and the median RAP among the ones that have sold is 275 R$.

How much do you keep when you resell a UGC banana?

Half the sale price. Roblox's marketplace documentation splits a UGC Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so you break even at twice your purchase price and need more than that to make anything.
