How to Use RBX Invest: Every Page Explained

How to use RBX Invest: every page explained, from search, item pages, Deals and leaderboards to Market Data, collections, alerts and your portfolio.

RBX Invest is a free market guide and set of trading tools for Roblox Limiteds. A Limited is an avatar item with a fixed number of copies that players buy and resell for Robux, and RAP (Recent Average Price) is Roblox's running average of what one sells for. To use the site, you look items up on search and item pages, screen the market on the leaderboards and Market Data, catch underpriced listings on Deals, sign in with Roblox to track your own portfolio, and, if you resell, follow your listings on the Reseller Terminal. This guide walks through every page: what it shows and when you would use it. If Limiteds are new to you, open the Get Started guide first.

Quick answer: Browsing RBX Invest is free and needs no account: search, item pages, leaderboards, Market Data, collections, articles and the guide. Signing in with Roblox (also free) adds your portfolio, Deals and the watchlist. The Reseller Terminal and Discord alerts belong to the paid membership tiers, and Membership shows what they cost today.

Search: how do you find an item or a player?

Search finds items by name and players by username, or by Roblox ID if you type a number. Item results show RAP and copies at a glance, and a click opens the full item page. A player result opens that player's public portfolio.

Item pages: what does one Limited's page show?

Every Limited has a page at /item/{asset id}. It opens with a short summary and the headline numbers: RAP, the lowest price you can buy one for, the original price and how many copies exist. Below that you get:

  • The lowest 10 prices. The cheapest resale listings, so you can see whether one cheap copy sits in front of a wall of expensive ones.
  • Market facts and price history. How RAP and sales have moved, and the item's recorded sales history.
  • The item score. A predicted profit per day with its chance of profit, and a breakdown of exactly how it was worked out.
  • Top tracked owners. The biggest holders among people who track their portfolio here.
  • Tracked holder distribution. How much of the supply the top holder and the top 10 hold. It turns amber once the top 10 hold over 25% and red over 50%, which is when one big holder can move the price.
  • More from this creator, similar value items and collections. Places to compare before you buy.

Before buying, check three things on the page: whether the RAP trend has a sudden spike, whether the item actually sells, and whether a few holders own most of the copies.

Leaderboards: how do you rank the whole market?

The Items Leaderboard is a full screener over every tracked Limited. Rank by RAP, total value, price, growth, sales, stock left or the item score, and narrow it with ranges plus filters for Classic or UGC, asset type, sale status, Resellable, 40% Eligible and, once you sign in, the copies you own. The Items Leaderboard guide covers it in depth.

The Players Leaderboard ranks the public portfolios of people who track here by value, copies, distinct items and growth. The Creators Leaderboard ranks UGC creators by their catalog and by how often their releases end up profitable, which is worth checking before you buy into a new release. Community Favorites shows what members actually hold: the items and creators with the most owners and the most copies.

Deals and new releases: where do you find something to buy?

Deals is a live feed of Limiteds listed below their RAP, with how far below RAP each listing sits and how many copies exist. You need a free account to open it. New UGC Limiteds lists UGC Limiteds as they release, with demand and predicted profit, so you can judge a drop while copies are still on sale. The Deals guide explains when a discount is still a profit after Roblox's fees.

Market Data: how big is the market, and is it growing?

Market Data: RBX Invest tracks the value, supply, marketplace sales, free claims, and release absorption of Roblox Classic and UGC Limiteds over time, plus UGC creator market share. Each chart splits Classic from UGC, so you can see which half of the market is moving.

Collections: ready-made lists of Limiteds

Collections sorts the market into 78 live lists you can open in one click:

The Get Started guide: where should a beginner begin?

The Get Started guide asks how well you know the market and gives you the guide for your level:

The first two levels lead into 3 beginner steps: Get Limited Items, Sell Limited Items, Reinvest.

Articles: where are the guides and market reports?

Articles holds every guide and market report, in 6 sections: Guides, Strategy, Market Reports, Item Histories, Roblox History, Using RBX Invest.

Your portfolio: how do you track what you own?

Sign in with Roblox, link your account on your profile and sync your inventory. You then get a portfolio: what you hold, what it is worth at RAP, Classic and UGC side by side, and how the total has moved over time. Signing in uses Roblox's own sign-in page, so RBX Invest never sees your password and can only read your inventory. You decide whether your portfolio is public from your profile. The portfolio guide has the details.

The Reseller Terminal: what do active sellers get?

If you resell, the Reseller Terminal lists every Limited you own next to where your own listing sits against the market. The counters across the top are Items Total, Position #1, Top 5, Needs Update, Total RAP, Resell Value. Saved views get you straight to the work: Recommended, Needs Repricing, Newly Eligible, Price Increase Opportunities, Save current, The star. Each card can be set to Active, Snoozed or Ignore to clear items you have dealt with out of the list. It needs a membership tier; the Reseller Terminal guide walks through it.

Alerts: how do you hear about a price without watching the page?

Two kinds of alert land in your own private alert thread on the RBX Invest Discord, which you set up on the Discord alerts page. A position alert tells you when another seller undercuts your listing and takes the lowest price. A watchlist alert tells you when an item you watch gets a deal, or reaches the price you named for it. Both need a membership tier with Discord alerts.

The AI assistant: can you just ask?

Every page has a chat button in the corner. The assistant can look up any item, the deals feed, the leaderboards, Market Data, collections and the guides, and once you sign in it can read your portfolio, add items to your watchlist and set your alert level. It works signed in or out, and you can tell it about a problem with the site and it gets logged for the team.

Membership: what do the tiers cost?

These are the regular prices. Membership shows what applies right now, including any free period.

For developers and AI apps: can other tools read RBX Invest?

Yes. RBX Invest runs an MCP server (MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is how AI apps such as Claude connect to outside tools), so an AI app you use can look up live prices, deals, rankings, collections and Market Data for you. It is free and read-only, and nothing about your account is reachable through it. Every page also has a Markdown version for AI tools to read. Start here: API Docs, OpenAPI, llms.txt.

Supporting RBX Invest and reusing its data

Support RBX Invest lists the ways to help keep the site running, including a Roblox game you can donate Robux in. It is always optional. If you want to reuse what the site publishes (prices, charts, scores, articles), the data use and licensing terms explain how to credit RBX Invest and when you need permission.

Which RBX Invest page do you use for which job?

  • "What should I buy?" Screen on the Items Leaderboard, check the item page, and watch Deals.
  • "Is this item safe to buy?" The item page: the lowest 10 prices, the price history and the holder distribution.
  • "How big is the market right now?" Market Data.
  • "How is my portfolio doing?" Your portfolio, after you link Roblox on your profile.
  • "Am I still the cheapest seller?" The Reseller Terminal, or a Discord position alert.
  • "I am new. Where do I start?" The Get Started guide.

The page tables and lists in this guide are built from the site's own menu, guide, collections and membership pages, and this article is republished whenever they change. Nothing on RBX Invest is financial advice: Limiteds can lose value, and you can lose Robux as easily as you make it.

FAQ

Is RBX Invest free?

Yes, for browsing. Search, item pages, leaderboards, Market Data, collections, articles, the Get Started guide and the AI assistant need no account. A free account adds your portfolio, Deals and the watchlist. The Reseller Terminal and Discord alerts belong to the membership tiers, and Membership shows what they cost right now.

Do I have to connect my Roblox account?

Only to track your own portfolio, open Deals or use the watchlist. Connecting uses Roblox's own sign-in, which only lets RBX Invest read your inventory, and you can remove that access in your Roblox settings at any time.

What does R$ mean on RBX Invest?

Robux, the Roblox currency. Every price, RAP figure and portfolio value on the site is in Robux.

What is RAP?

Recent Average Price: Roblox's running average of what an item sells for. It moves slower than the cheapest listing, so the lowest price on the item page is the number to check before you buy.

Where do I find a list of every page?

In the tables at the top of this guide, which are built from the site menu. The menu at the top of every page and the footer at the bottom link the same pages.

Can my AI app use RBX Invest?

Yes. Any AI app that supports MCP can connect to the RBX Invest MCP server and look up prices, deals, rankings and more. The API Docs page has the address and setup.

Can other people see my inventory?

Only if your portfolio is public. You choose that on your profile.

How do I get alerts when a price drops?

Watch the item and name the price you are waiting for. The alert arrives in your private alert thread once the lowest listing reaches it. Set it up on the Discord alerts page.
